Good luck. On the screen. I would love a roll up transparent screen. Love to take my sceen off the hinges and have to prop it or hang it open to get to the front stage.
You could orient your theater 90 degrees so that you have room for a wider screen. Doesn't sound like you need a second row so you don't need the length.
Congradulations on the new place and the AV10!! That's what I'm looking at getting one day, but I do wish that Auromatic used front wides. 9.X.6 with VOG and Ch is the what i'd consider the best format out there, 15.1! As the new Auro 3D king, maybe you could have some influence on that front.
That would be the best ever! I could actually utilize every speaker at once! Although Marantz would have to have a firmware update to be able to process all 17 channels at once. But I agree! Something to dream! 💭😁
I, too, am working on building a home theater again, but this time, I own a home and can do it how I want. I'm forgoing a projector in favor of a 98" Sony x90l.
@garyharper2943 we'll see. If I want I can do a drop-down screen in front of the tv and still run a projector, but the tv makes it more usable for my wife and I as a multi use room.
Excited to see the new stuff!! - The review of the ES7000! - the 2 center Chanel option?? - the stuff you do with Aurora 3D!! - the theatrus speakers setup and how it all sounds plus the install process. - why not the SW15 starke 15” vs the 12”? - would be cool to see some of the installation process and which wires etc you use. - Are the dimensions of the room big enough for all 17 channels? - projector vs UST vs behind screen speakers etc. Just some things looking foward to. :) Ps. Are you still gonna review soundbars? New nakamichi shockwafe etc 🎉
Thanks! I hope to tackle all those things eventually! 🤞 And I’m not so sure about soundbars, at this point. But if one comes around that I can’t ignore, I’ll jump at the chance! 🎉
It’s secure with tons of cameras throughout the office building. My office door itself has a lock on it, and the building is insured. I’m in good hands. 🙌
Good luck it’s always fun to start over, waiting on my Denon 3800h to arrive today. I took your advice and purchased a Emotiva Basx3 and I’m ready to get “ My New” system hooked up. I was using a Marantz cinema 70 s with the Emotiva and I had power failure so I returned it. If you have any suggestions when you have time would appreciate some tips, I have all my equipment listed in my description. Have fun 👍🏻🤞🏻✌️😎
Very exciting news and can't wait for the new content. On a sidebar regarding movies, I ordered the new 6 disk 4K set for Apocalypse Now directly from Lionsgate for $40. It will be here Monday. Maybe once you are all moved in, you could do an in-depth review and share your thoughts. Thanks E
Haha, yep! I’ll mostly be doing editing, answering emails and comments during normal business hours. But after 5 PM or weekends I’ll fire up the theater full blast! 💥😁
Great stuff and look forward to the finished room. Quick question, I saw a video of yours where you reviewed the Klipsch Cinema speakers (small speakers with an 8” sub) and wanted to ask what you recommend for the crossover and level settings, specifically the subwoofer. I’m using a Klipsch 10” sub but I’m getting the chuffing sound you mentioned. Thanks again. Also, I’m using an Onkyo receiver similar to the one in your video and my speakers are small like the Klipsch ( they’re from the Definitive Pro Cinema set). Thx again
With smaller speakers like that I usually start with a crossover of 120 Hz and experiment from there, trying out 110 Hz, 130 Hz, etc to see whichever works best.
Looking forward to this series. Did you consider the denon A1H and why get the marantz over the denon? You also mentioned that the marantz will automatically sense which speakers to use. Will it do it automatically or would you need to use presets? Thanks
In theory (which I will test) it should automatically switch to an Auro configuration when a native Auro mix is detected. Let’s hope that’s the case! 🤞
They look very similar to the ceiling tiles I use in my theater (though mine are 2x2 and painted black) which are manufactured by Armstrong and do not contain asbestos.

I love the new direction to the channel!! I certainly will be watching!
Thank yooouuu!

Woohoo! New space looks awesome! Can’t wait to see it all come together!
Thanks, man! Gonna be epic!
Thanks
You’re welcome, Craig!
Nice space! Put some cameras in...
I used to be a security guy, and it's my blood!
There are lots of cameras around the building already (inside and outside). One of the reasons I thought it would be a good space to setup shop! 🎉
Love The Process. Looking forward to more. !! Congrats!
Thanks, man! I appreciate your engagement! 😁🤘

To add to that, maybe even allow 17.1 with 6 heights, something like 9.X.8 with VOG and CH. Just dreaming.

I think you’ll be disappointed. No matter how big the tv, only a projector gives you a at the movies feeling.

@@SqueamishPuppetplus TVs look better than projectors…
That’s a big bang Ealan!
Yes! Looking forward to the native Auro/Atmos comparisons!
Can’t wait to dive into those! 🎉🤘

I'd work on some locks and security, with all that gear in there.

Heehee! 😉

Incredible! Too bad about the Cinema 70s, though. I rocked that for quite awhile in my living room with no hiccups. Just how it goes, I guess. 🤷♂️
I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the AV10. It's on my wish list.
It’s been on mine ever since it came out. I will definitely be putting it through the wringer. 😁
@@ealanosborne It has gorgeous build quality and measures great, I just haven't been quite able to pull the trigger for that much money.
@@stephenphillips1660 I hear ya. $7K is a lot, but MAN it can do almost everything anyone can ever need.

I don’t have that on disc. But wow! 6 discs! I’ll keep that on my radar!
Can’t wait to see when it’s all set up. Is this a shared office space? Like are there any other neighbors your gonna piss off with the bass?

T65 and T65 slims. The T80 is just too much for the size of room. 😁
@@ealanosborne sweet. Whenever I replace my monitors I think I'll go with Theatrus.

Thanks buddy I’ll try those settings
Do your front LCR have a high enough sensitivity to get through an acoustic screen? Dont want blown tweeters due to clipping etc.
Oh for sure. And they have a matrix of various pins on the back to choose from various scenarios - free field, on wall, behind screen, etc. 🤘

You have an avr you want to sell 9.2 or greater
Just wondering, what stand are you using for that Sony 8?
I was wondering that myself, didn't see it listed in the description.
Oh…right. Here it is 😁👇

Please be careful with those suspended ceiling tiles, they look awfully like they contain asbestos.
