i work full time and started ebay just last october, ive been enjoying the resell. as you said, this is just the start of 2025 and cant wait to see the end.
Happy with the reception I got from this video! Thanks for watching, I watched a couple of your videos and shot you a sub as well. :) Best of luck in 2025!
Respectable man, out of curiosity, do u do this full time? I want to be able to do this sort of a side gig which i know is cliche but unless i could suddenly make this a main source of income it seems like a bit of a time sink.
Thanks for the comment! I do not do this full-time. I have another full-time job and this was just a hobby that turned into a business that has made me good extra money over the years. I don't put a whole lot of hours into it weekly, if I did I would gross a lot more. I plan on sharing how I go about sourcing, listing, etc. in future videos. The amount you make really depends on how efficient you get at sourcing, listing, and how much time you want to put in. I plan on scaling up again so watch and find out! :) Happy to answer any other questions you have as well.
@@HQDrew Would definitely be interested in seeing how you operate at a foundational level, Most youtubers seem like guru type ppl only showing the upside. Will subscribe to keep updated for sure. I have a ton of random stuff im sure i could flip to get a start, would love any advice on getting started
@@owlser Main thing, is just start imo. It may sit there for a while without any buyers, when you first start out, so the sooner you start, the more time you have for something to sell. You can list up to 100 items and not pay a monthly cost, however their takeaway fees are a little higher, but I suggest starting there. Also if someone says they already sent the money in a message, and ask when you're sending the item, do not send the item. It's a scam, but it doesn't happen a lot at all. It happened to me once, but we didn't see it reflected in our eBay account, so we were just polite, said we do not see it, and will send once we do. Two full days went by, no payment, you can cancel the item due to nonpayment, relist it, and we blocked the buyer. Get your shipping down though, it can eat your costs if you're not careful. Try to use boxes you may have around at first, or get them for free.
@@owlser I plan on making a couple how-to type of videos covering the key fundamentals I've picked up over the years. I hope they help! If you have any questions along your journey feel free to comment, always love to help!
