Living in the US my entire life I only really ever heard a thousand miles. It would seem that we have been missing out on some great fucking music.... This is powerful stuff.
I found the Angry Cyclist on my flight trip from Sydney to Santiago...i think i spent half of my flight hearing this album...what a masterpiece! Not many old band can produce something good like this...
Netmorks Evolve you are right. Off the top of my head there is only one band I know who still put out excellent stuff nearly thirty years since they first got noticed and that band is the Manic Street Preachers.
Flawless album it kept me entertained and saint during those crazy days of confinement love the twins what a talent . Lots of love and respect from a Moroccan who love everything Scottish including a wee drum
What a band. I’ve loved their distinct and unique music since I was a teenager. They’ve just got better and better. Their new stuff is so moving. So many things make me proud to be Scottish, the Proclaimers are amongst those things.
Well said. I am English and think Scotland is a truly great nation. If not for the midges and the cold ( it is bad enough here) I would happily live there. The music, culture, humour, belief in fairness and the underdog and non nonsense approach to life are all huge positives. The Proclaimers are superb. I missed out on them in the late eighties but I have been catching up in recent years. My wife loves Streets Of Edinburgh so much that she says it makes her want to be there when she hears it. Merry Xmas to you!
Amazing! It makes me feel I belonged in the 1900s in Scotland. I hope someday I will live in the UK and see firsthand what beauty it holds. Thank you from me a new generation of frees
Ok, goosebumps which i did not expect. I get the feeling that I've been missing out on some great songs by the proclaimers. They got such an honest and life affirming sound to them , it is truly uplifting. Not to mention the soothing sounds of their scottish accents.
@@PoutinePete for sure. "Throw the r away" is now one of my favourite songs of all time and their new single "the world that was" was a great piece of clever writing.
The Proclaimers were my moms favorite band. She died in Feb. Of 2019 and unfortunately never heard angry cyclist. So I am listening to it and remembering why she loved them so much.
Sorry for your loss. Me and my wife suffered two bereavements of close relatives within less than three weeks of each other in 2020 so I know a little of what it must be like for you.
What a tune, so moving and uplifting all at once. The Proclaimers are the greatest, all of their albums are full of mostly undiscovered gems like this that move my soul, raise my spirits and convince me that life is still worth living despite this having 67k views as opposed to 200 billion for the likes of Stormzy or other such garbage. What a world we live in...
On the last night of the tour? I was there!! Third time I'd seen them on that tour. I think I've seen them over ten times, and that was the first time i wasn't in the front row!
Just an amazing song from the everlasting brothers !
So proud to be Scottish and just love these guys music !
Truly brilliant !!

Evoking memories of childhood and young manhood in Scotland
Proclaimers are amazing. From Sunshine on Leith all the way to today. A long journey of memories and heartfelt songs.
Had a fantastic day filming with the wolfhounds, Buster our Hyacinth and Curtis. All stars x. Love the Proclaimers 👌💕💕💕
Yet another catchy tune that gives goosebumps. Looking forward to our fourth gig watching them tonight in Manchester.

It's been a year, have you listened to them more? Are you still a fan?

This song is amazing! The way the bass comes in at 0:28 is just perfect!
Another masterpiece from a wonderful proclaimers they never let me doon
they're so underrated.
Fran barnbrooks wolfhounds.
Plus buster the bird.
What a unique person.
~ Thank You ~
Perfection 👌
Anton Corbyn did enjoy the silence, Rianne enjoys a young kid's imagination. :)
I love how they couldn't get a crow/raven or w/e so they just used a black parrot
Great song!
It’s my friends’ macaw, Buster. He’s vivid blue!
Não falo inglês, mas a melodia é linda!
I love at the end the wee boy drops his bread and stares with wonder at what I take to be Proclaimers tickets at the end of the shelf.
It’s his next adventure with the Loch Ness monster😉
Is this new music from them?
under rated
In the beginning I thought it was Greyfriars Bobby
I’m probably the youngest proclaimers fan
And I'm the oldest
una mala letra para una buena melodía
