An elderly woman in Dante once told me that Christmas begins with the arrival of the Santa Train. The wonderful volunteers and merchants from Kingsport, as well as the continued support of CSX make this great charitable giving event possible. Many thanks to all. Thank you for posting.
Amen, thank you so very much, every year I follow Jaw Tooth as he chase the Santa Train, but Blue Ridge Rails you beat him to it this year. I've been watching this train for last 5 to 8 years on You-Tube. After the Hurricane hit, I wondered if CSX was going to run the train, I'm so glad they did, it was needed more than ever to give the Mountain people some hope. Thanks again, Blue Ridge, have a great Thanksgiving.
That's a beautiful train in many ways! What a nice video! It's so good to see everyone having a great time! Thank you! Hope you all have an awesome Thanksgiving!
4 Diesels to haul 12-passenger cars? seems like overkill X2 too me. I do love seeing the old heavy weights in action. I hated seeing the CSX Logo on the front of the Clinchfield Heritage unit, that was like throwing paint on the Mona Lisa. They could have embraced the retro paint scheme and just attached a CSX Banner along the lower front of the loco for their own publicity. 👍

@@blueridgerails There is stock that pays better dividends than railroads, but I feel we should put some of our money where our mouth is.

Thank you! 😊
I really love the fact they put a reef on #1902 for the occasion.
It adds to the magical feeling and atmosphere of the Santa Train imo.

Crazy crowd and awesome vibes. Did you have to walk through the tunnel that feeds into the load out to reach hayside.

Yoooo
I am glad it doesn't go through Cumberland, MD to Keyser, WV.
Why are the heritage units not leading it??
