- A TTC riders advocacy group is calling the overcrowding on the Dufferin bus line a “crisis situation.” Richard Southern with the steps the group is calling for the TTC to take to help out the “sufferin’ Dufferin.”
No money for transit but the Sunshine List keeps on growing!!

There would be room for a dedicated bus lane if they could find the money to do the necessary construction to widen the street and make the sidewalks more narrow.
here in Toronto people come 2 close to you wether they r waiting in line or for the bus.
i take the dufferin bus in the mornings at 7 am and back home again at 3pm my experience is not like this i always have a seat
I chose to walk to school instead of taking the Dufferin bus and this was almost 20 years ago lol it's a lot worse now and more expensive
Also 939 is always overcrowded in rush hour And way to many buses at McCowan/Finch eastbound during 9:00 to 10:00 AM
Dufferin was the worst bus back in 1999. Good to see it has gotten better............................

It baffles me how Dufferin hasn't even gotten consideration for a subway. The south end's infrastructure is incredibly dated, street is way too congested, and the bus route is a nightmare. Since Ford wants to stub the new subway in Lake Ontario, good luck seeing anything more inspiring than road construction on Dufferin in the next 20 years.
Fords subway is actually a lie.

It is compare bathurst route with all air conditioning
As long as the people that use it pay for it we don't mind but nobody pay for my transportation but me as we don't have bus routes out in the country.

Ha ha, finally sufferin dufferin, honestly I hate the dufferin bus, at night time in freezing weather the wait is endless, the bus just doesn't come and rush hours are terrible, I have walked the way home than get into the super packed bus, can't breathe.
Glad I don’t take the bus no more..

Safety is not enforced. You get into a ttc accident lord knows. Very unsafe and over crowed.👈👀

Not underfunding just bad planning, take busses from less busy routes and put them on Duffern... problem solved.

Tax car use in the centre and use the money to provide more buses.
The whole system is a joke. Get driverless vehicles. Fire the Union employees!
If more people are riding the system and there isn't funding.....only one thing to do...raise fair prices.
