I thought they were going to announce Presto and cash refunds or yellow vouchers for all the TTC riders on that train if they want them. TTC rides are pretty expensive if you work on minimum wage or live off CPP and OAS. $3.35 is a lot in this time of high inflation.
What safety plan is needed other than banning these devices on transit vehicles outright? Or shall we just wait until it happens when a train is stalled in the tunnel between stations?
@@rbassassin99bro I read in the Toronto Star lots of Food App Delivery Couriers commute to Toronto on GO from other parts of the province everyday with the bikes and e-bikes to make a living in the city delivering food, groceries, prescription and what not. That is a fact not a joke. There is clearly demand for their services. I see lazy boomer and youth getting food and groceries delivered in my condo everyday and there is literally a discount grocery store and bunch of food places in the plaza across the street.😂😂
E-bikes and scooters need to be banned. Medical mobility devices are regulated, and there is a huge difference between the two. Lucky the fire happened on the platform and not in the tunnel.

Nobody is so crazy to carry any large battery on TTC. Therefore, eBikes are not allowed on TTC for social safety.

It ban on bus but not on trains. Like all bus in Toronto serounding neighbourhood all ban E-bikes on bus or the rack
