Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.

The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. By appropriately sizing your positions and capitalizing on your advantage repeatedly, you can progressively work towards achieving your financial goals. This principle applies across various investment approaches, whether it be long-term investing or day trading.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

@@Mk-Amo not to support removal of indexation.. but what u r saying is not true (2-3 times)
For example lets say u buy a house for 10lakhs in 2014 and CII for the FY 14-15 : 240 and if u want to sell it in the Current FY then CII is 363
Now say u sold it for 20 Lakhs
Then as per old rate with indexation :
      1. Adjusted Cost = 10×1.50(363/240)=15 Lakhs
      2. Capital gain = 20-15=5 Lakh
      3. Tax on capital gain = 1 Lakh(5 Lakh ×20%)
As per new rate without indexation
      Tax on CG = (20L-10L)*12.5%=1.25Lakhs
Hence, if we sell our property for 20Lakhs then we have extra tax as per new rate without indexation
So ur claim of 2-3 times is wrong.. but it does not stop here.. pls read fully this is very impt.
If we sell our property for 30L instead of 20L other things remaining same :
      1. Under old rate
      a. Adj cost = 15 Lakhs
      b. Tax on CG = (30-15)*20%=3L
      2. Under new rate:
Tax on CG = (30-10)*12.5%=2.5 Lakh
Now when u sell ur property for 30 Lakh u get a tax benefit of 50K under new tax rate and this get increasing as the sale price get increasing
Summary: I don't support the indexation because the rates would have been reduced with indexation. That's would have given more benefit.
Note: 363/240= 1.5125 (for simple calculation rounded off to 1.5 and even if we use 1.5125 the answer for the above example doesn't change)
If you want to reply pls reply in a constructive way with ur set of examples and data.. don't abuse or use curse words.
      Peace✌️

I am someone who supported most of the steps taken by this government. I understand the fiscal deficit needs to be ropped in, but overtaxing the minority tax payers is too much. There has been increase in corruption, taxpayers money is being given to freeloaders. Hiding behind poor farmers the corrupt burecracy, rich and politicians get away with their black income. Instead of taxing these rich corrupt fellows they are over taxing a tired middile class.
A brief example in a city like Mumbai a dhobi wala earns approximately a minimum of 1200 rs that coverts to approximately 30k a month. Now a person who earns that much in mumbai still pays around 3000 taxes, but he still will not get subsidized food for his family which the dhobi wala gets( as per the family size), plus he gets to build a home (nothing against that), where as a salaried perosn who pays taxes on buying rashan ( daal, atta, rice which dhobi gets for free), will also struggle with buying a house. He is also now paying taxes on his savings which he invests. How on earth that is fair to the honest tax payers?
If your income rises disproportionately IT will raid your premise, but no such questions asked from our corrupy netas who enjoy all the subsidies, only sloganeering in their work place ( parliament) and yet see more than 100% increase in their net worth. Then we ask why is their a brain drain our nation, I ask what are we doing to keep talent in our country? The whole system is geared up to promote dishonesty but we all pay lip service to promote honesty, 'Amrit kaal' and' Ram rajya' cannot be achieved on dishonesty and corruption. 5 trillion dollar economy would be un-achiveable on such a small tax base, need maor rejig in education system and taxation of rich farmers.

While mentioning the tax slab you did tell the increase in standard deduction, but you were so intelligent to hide it was in only on new regime, and you were also so cleaver in putting out the deduction without mentioning it's for only old regime (making believe viewers that there is something in tax for the salaried person), which has slabs of 0%, 5% and directly jumping to 20% for 5+lac and so on.
While mentioning and showing the LTCG components and skipping the indexation seemed like you are making up with skipping taxation of 20% to 12.5%.

Indians love tax evasion and freebies. And this has nothing to do with a particular community. People do it across the board.
Even the tax paying segment of the voting population of this nation, particularly the middle class, besides being puny, is heavily fractured and fragmented on caste, ethnic and religious lines.
The middle class needs to master the fine art of block voting which is particularly effective when you are in a minority. There is a particular minority demographic group in this nation which has perfected this art, using which it can arm twist the political class at will.
Vote as a single unified tax paying middle class bloc. Prevent the tax paying bloc esp. the middle class, from being fragmented on other demo-graphic fault lines, particularly when it comes to voting for economic, infrastructural or financial and even environmental issues. The state has been sinking, and yet the govt has always turned a blind eye. The state has been suffering financial losses, corruption, drug mafia, no capital and a lot more, but the central govt didn't care about it. We did not get proper funds, we were left to hang dry while Telangana bagged a lot of investments due to Hyderabad. See the holding period to qualify for LTCG was 3 years and tax was 20% with indexation.
Now it is 2 years and tax is 12.5% without indexation. (Now I don't have to wait 1 whole year to avoid higher STCG)
So effective tax for majority of the people will be lesser. For GenZ and Millenials like myself who have recently bought or want to buy and then sell, this is an absolute win. But for a minority of the people who have bought properties in early 2000s this is going to be bad.
Also further this will prevent rich people from hoarding properties as investments for a long time. They don't even rent those properties due to RERA which leads to a housing problem in cities.

The government can impart FREE TRAINING to these poor people and help them to go abroad. Similarly there must be so many areas we are not aware of. The problem is always corruption. India Today TV, before it became a caged parrot, in 2016 or so brought out a scam in Maharashtra in Skill India Yojana or something. There, on paper, several villagers are supposed to have got training as tailors, carpenters etc and their names were on govt website. When journalists actually checked with the individuals named, they found out they were lies and that the villagers had provided their Aadhaar and signed documents given by low level party guys who told them this was for their future training! And if we take an average of people falling in all tax slabs then there would be a savings of 60k compared to the new regime and 25k comparing the old and revised old regime.

Modi government has failed in understanding the middle class, from Arun Jaitley to Nirmala sitaraman.😡😡😡The Modi government's policies always have neglected and insulted the middle class. 😞Taxation reforms, such as the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), have increased the financial burden on this segment. Additionally, there has been a lack of significant income tax relief for the middle class, despite rising inflation. The handling of demonetization in 2016 caused significant inconvenience and economic stress to middle-class families. Education and healthcare costs continue to rise without adequate government intervention. Job creation has not kept pace with the growing number of graduates, affecting middle-class employment prospects. The real estate sector's slowdown has also impacted middle-class investments. Public sector bank reforms and increasing non-performing assets (NPAs) have created insecurity regarding savings. There is a perception that the government favors large businesses and the wealthy. Overall, many middle-class citizens feel overlooked and underserved by current economic policies.

worst for middle class honest tax payer. Govt has not either changed slab for old tax scheme since so many years or they could have increased 80C limit from 1.5Lakhs to 2-3Lakhs, thin in turn saving will go to banks and financial institutes.
Govt could have honoured honest tax payer by reducing tax percentage for 5-10 Lakhs from 20% to 15% and for above 10 Lakhs from 30% to 25%.
Looting a lot of money from LTGS, STGS and STT. Shame on Govt.
What can we get from economically illierate laday. Govt not using economic expert like Subramanian Swamy. Govt only need puppet like Nirmala Mam.

    1. Tax on Drinking water
    2. Tax on Breathing Air.

So, what is the guarantee that you will not leave the company in just 5 or 6 months for preparing for competitive exams?" Many companies are afraid of this too; they plan for a long time with the belief that the new recruit will not leave the company, but due to the over-obsession with competitive exams, many companies are really worried about hiring freshmen into the workforce, especially in the agriculture sector.

@@ranjeetd90 for every year transaction it doesn't affect any middle class as the cap is already 1.25 and increased now.
Only for scenarios such as Lumpsum redemption it's affected. Let's take a realistic example of a middle class person transaction in lumpsum.
      A transaction of 5 lakh(education )with 1.25 lakh profit: 0tax.
Also government has reduced tax in new tax regime which would save atleast few thousands a year.
Transaction of 5 lakh with 3 lakh profit:
      Before: 20k tax
      Now:21.8K
Transaction of 10lakh with 5 lakh profit:
      Before: 40k
      Now:46.8k
So people who comment lower and middle class are affected should learn basic math and understand it doesn't affect them, infact the loss in Lumpum amount (rare) is compensated by reduction in new tax regime...
But yeah mostly the upper middle class and rich are affected. People of India have still backward mindset of paying no tax and blaming the government. Yes the results would take decades and people who pay tax would definitely not get anything in return but we need to understand that we should start somewhere, People in US are actually getting in return from government, only because their people payed tax decades back.

A little balance and willingness to call out mistakes might actually add some credibility to your channel and it's okay to admit that sometimes your favorite political party gets it wrong.

    A view on budget
    1) Money given to Bihar is a charity
    2) Andhra might use atleast half of the money. Rest half will be a charity.
    3) no benefits in any way for middle class. Just pay tax at each and every juncture of any monetary transaction(salary, mutual funds, stocks, insurance etc). While the rest 138Cr. People will enjoy free houses, water, electricity, some states even giving free cash now. Best period for non tax payers.
    4) Govt focus on fiscal deficit is good
