And then people hail movies like '12th Fail' as success stories. Sure, the person went through immense hardships to become a coveted IAS officer. But, was that the end goal? To become influential and rise out of poverty? The movie doesn't even mention a single accomplishment by the protagonist after becoming an officer. It ends up glorifying the position of a bureaucrat with certain perks and a lavish lifestyle, completely missing the point on the role of a bureaucrat in nation building. I'm aware of an honest IAS officer from the 90s batch who arrested a notorious gangster. Following the arrest, he faced years of death threats but successfully took down the gangster's operations. However, he was subsequently transferred to a low-profile department because the CM didn't want such bold actions that could impact their vote bank. UPSC is not a tough exam...its about what you actually do to prepare yourself with your own education...a broad education...and by education i mean emancipation and freedom from text books and reality of the situation that if you were to become IAS ..what will do on day 1 and how will you do it and how will you fight the entrenched system..that will hold you back... .as educational institutions in India are simply not good. Also this Gov job is applied by millions..but the actual jobs are required in Private Sector and in Municipalities and to Contractors who run the actual work of India ..like roads, garbage collection etc etc..those all become political appointments to hide the massive corruption in every state.. if you are an UPSC aspirant..i wish you the best of luck..but its an outdate exam for tackling the complexity and chaos of India.. UPSC is a memorization exam and some mock interviews to prepare a very mundane set of questions.. the actual aspirant will be on the ground...with grass root level information of what is the issue ..not what is my answer...everyone has the same answer...everyone is reading the same books..but everyone lacks imagination and courage to actually do any work. Its a babu-raj job..which has existed in India for more than 70 years..but best of luck.

Gangsters days are slowly vanishing, today govt officials themselves act as gangsters, they collect money through bribe , notice , registration etc . Even if you want to do basic stuff without bribing then you will fail . IAS babus and ghr employees have made a system forcing everyone to pay bribe
Who knows the actual truth? May be that gangster was arrested because he/she was not paying what the officer demanded. 😢
I have seen IAS officers extorting money from old flower mandy Lucknow. These IAS lobby has made themselves as gangster of new India

True they even fucked up health sector, all the norms and guidelines are mostly focused on infrastructure and freebies which have lots of loop hole for corruption, even when they try doing something, they start copying western healthcare. They forget that in western world health budgets are huge , they have lots of capitals and incentives to implement those , while in India the burden falls on health budgets for govt hospitals and , patients and health workers in private hospitals. To recover money they have recently started exposing bonds and penalties worth lakhs and crores which leads to young doctors committing suc**de since they can’t afford to pay such heavy sums after dedicating thr life to studies . All of this with bribe system combined which will be extorted by CMO(they pay crores to reach that pos) and IAS(bcz they extort money through fire and infrastructure departments) both .

Ye chiz indians ko samjh nhi aati kyuki media ne sirf politicians ko villian bna rakha h
We should ban UPSC for good. Replace these bureaucrats with private facilitators.
@WheyProtein-u1j exactly the way elon musk and vivek ramaswamy are planning DOGE in US. It'll save cost and people's money. The growth will be atleast 3x as these sloth are just inefficient for work.
Let's create Bastilles out of each DM residence of all districts in India.
Not all are like that, the reason why stable government exists is because of genuine Bureaucrats , dont forget most of our ministers are illiterate, its the IAS those are running the departments, social media has this tendency to blame the whole group, sure many are corrupt, but if start seeing IAS with this view then those IAS officers who are working honestly will start quitting thier jobs, and our administration will collapse.
Dear Mohak, this is truly an eye opening video. Amazing research and thanks for sharing this informative video.
I am a central govt teacher. We are frustrated due to paper work but I always do paper work at home because i don't want to do injustice with students.
So, students love and respect me that gives me motivation for work.
Many teachers don't work but I can't live like this. We get a letter daily, for not real work for photography, data entry and some other work not for teaching.
Thanks for your service
Superb video!!
When there is no basic accountability, how will any system function? Government jobs should no longer be made completely secure. Non-performers should be removed
Nowadays people chooses government job just for power and money they didn't really want to serve society!! (Not everyone but lots of people)
To desh ke imandar yuva khud kyn nahi ban jaate IAS aur karte desh ka vikas😂😂😂
@scuihghugbmmm sab yuva ka sapna IAS nahi hota
@@paraskhant9215 Arre to desh ke seva ke kya apna sapna tyag nahi sakte ?? IAS bankar desh ka vikas kare
@@scuihghugbmmm dekh ki seva to bohot tarike se ho sakti he IAS akela jariya nai he seva karne ka !! Ab voto person pe depend karta he usko kese seva karni he ya fir karni bhi he ya nahi
@@paraskhant9215 To phir complaint bhi mat karo.
Tumhare complaint karne se koi desh ka vikas bhi nahi hoga, guts hai to khud bankar iss desh ka vikas karke example set karo pehle phir bolna
Ye sab change krne ki power people ke pass hai , but sab darte Hai 😢

fixed posting tenures and making additional monetary benefits like HRA , DA and LTC into a performance based incentive can make a significant impact on the system .
These are compensatory allowances given as a percentage of basic pay
Basic pay is the main component

It surely is educative and beneficial. But the execution of this is way more important, by choosing the best writing.

UPSC which conducts India's biggest exam i.e. Indian Civil Service Exam, if it too cannot stop such scams then what can the rest of the SSC NTA people do? This is a big failure of the Indian government. Our youth generation is at risk.😢
I gave my first attempt at preparing for UPSC while staying at home, I gave the mains exam by studying on my own and I hope I'll give the interview and become an IAS officer 🎉❤.Finally good days will come.😊.
17:22 This would encourage the teachers to leak the question papers and tell out the "important" questions in class for getting a better salary. We have to change this system from its roots. Redefine everything and start from basics. A change in the surface would not make any impact.
what do you suggest then? nice thought man!!! how???
@iamcurious123 I don't know, that' the reason ias officers are there for, but as we saw, they are not working. Maybe set up a new department for fixing this? Or maybe not consider marks as the only education profile of a student.
that will only be possie when twachers set the papers i.e.internal exams...for boards or university exams that will not be possible as even teachers wouldn't know the paper...unless ofcourse it leaks from the source i.e. the board
@piya6929 Yeah, but for kids before the 10th, the only way schools test their knowledge is by internal exam. And everyone asks for their annual exam marks, half yearly marks and by that they make an estimation of how good their teacher is. Or many people just don't care about that, because we haven't come out of the world of "jo teacher kehta hai, which thik hota hai".the idea that The teacher can say wrong things too is something I don't find in many people.
The thing I love about Mohak is him talking about the issues as they are..never targeting a single political party or candidate..what needs to be called out needs to be called out irrespective of political parties you support..
Salute hai apko sir ji😊😊
