Hey Laura just a quick tip it is actually the sugars in your cookies that help them spread and the egg + flour that helps them stay puffy, so if you want them to spread more, more sugar, and vice versa. Keep up the yummy work I am loving these fall recipes!
Tried it out today and they turned out great! They are soo goood! I made them without the glaze on top because i didnt want it too sweet. Kinda tastes like pumpkin bread, and i love pumpkin bread!!
I made these and somehow I missed during the video that she said her ice cream scoop is 1 Tbs. Apparently my ice cream scoop is 3 Tbs or more because my cookies came out HUGE. I had to cook them a lot longer, but they came out delicious. That said, don't worry if you don't have a small ice cream scoop. Actually it was a lot less work because I didn't have to make multiple trays, and I like big cookies so it worked out well. The glaze/frosting is AMAZING! Definitely a great recipe.

@Stella pumpkin pie spice is just a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, ground allspice, ginger and sometimes ground cloves. Use equal parts of each spice but a little less cloves and allspice and you're good. Hope I helped :)

I absolutely LOVE your videos!!!! I love that!! :) Just have a few questions that I wanted to ask you about this video. First, I know this isn't really a cooking question, but could you show us a makeup tutorial sometime in the future possibly? Because I REALLY LOVE your makeup in this video and was wondering what products you used? I made a vegan version of these (with a flax egg and deodorized coconut oil) and served them at a dinner party - they were amazing! I just made a true-to-recipe batch. My entire kitchen smells like buttery pumpkin-y goodness ^_^
So plan on trying these probably in the next few days, I love pumpkin everything. Quick question, roughly how long do you mix the dough, I dont want them to be hockey pucks >.

What you can also do to make your butter reach room temperature is to cut it up into small cubes. It softens the butter much more quickly!
