I find double tails problematic. They generally seem to have shorter bodies than other tail types, which puts pressure on their organs and can cause bladder and stomach problems, leading to a shorter lifespan (in general)… Also ones with overly big fins don’t age as well as ones with more moderate fin sizes. A third is the marble gene. Oh boy. It’s in so many of them, unfortunately. The higher rate of mutation can lead to interesting colorations that change over time, which can be beautiful, but at the expense of a higher risk of cancer, ime. I usually stay with the Plakat ones. Seems boring at first but they tend to live a longer and healthier life with the same amount of care, and can have beautiful colors too, even without the marble gene 🧬 Such great content, I really appreciate it! Keep up the good work 🐠👍👍
