Would there be any possibility for you to go over the most effective ways that you like to optimize a power outlet lol, I am running into a big issue when it comes to having a lot of "chordage." Honestly it can be frustrating not having enough outlets or even having too much equipment- so if you have any tips or insight on ways to safely utilize power strips (or extensions of any sort), or even ways to run multiple of the same piece of equipment (i.e. lights, heaters, etc) please do share!
I’m soaking a little garlic juice with a little water and freeze dried daphnia. Is that what you are supposed to do? And do you draw it up in an eye dropper and feed to the Betta, or do you drain off the liquid and feed on the end of a q-tip?

I'm a livebearer person and your bettas are making me want to cheat on my fish and get a betta lol! Their personalities are really interesting. All different! And these are some of the healthiest bettas I've seen. You can tell you take great care of them.

I have 7 bettas, 3 koi, 1 plakat, 1 veil tail, and 2 crown tail. Also is koi/plakat a good cross? The babies are turning into gorgeous little Bettas. Have you noticed the veil tails like to zoom around alot? Mine will actually surf the bubbles from the air stone.
I always keep mine in tannins, I feel like the lower PH is harmful to some common bad bacteria. Maybe I’m wrong to do so but it seems like the fish are just generally healthier.

Wow I was up to 28 adults at one time when I was around 19-23. Starting to get back into bettas 20 years later after my kids bought one male each. I bought a beautiful female I’m hoping to try breeding her later. I nvr had luck before my last male couldn’t handle the stress and committed suicide and jumped out after a failed mating so that was my last try so I’m hoping it will be better since more info out 20 years later.
I had a question on the feeding process. How do you feed your juveniles or young adult bettas new food. I have a beautiful male I'm interested in breeding but he only eats what his previous owners gave him and won't eat what I'm trying to give him is their anything you could suggest.

I'm new to the wonderful world of caring for a betta and want to be sure I am feeding them correctly. The Hikari containers do not say anything about rehydrating prior to feeding, but thought I would ask an expert to confirm. Thank you.
Miss Kat one whole teaspoon is a LOT of food for one betta. I feed mine 3-4 pellets a day or 4-5 bloodworms a day. They really don’t need that much food.
I currently have 5 bettas. Only one male. Possibly 2 because a gender is in question. I bought a female koi for my sorority but she is super aggressive so she will be alone. Her gender is in question because of her aggression level toward the other females, and her ventral fins suggest male... So I am currently not so sure. :-) Of course, I want more bettas :-)
How do u breed them without losing one or some of them because of the fighting? And is it safe to add 6 or 9 females into my 55 gallon tank that houses my male and 2 paired up angelfishes and other misc. Fish. They all get along surprisingly. Lots of plants and hiding spots for them.

should you not put female bettas in tanks with other fish? when i was younger i remember keeping a female in a 10 gallon with a few glo-fish, do they not go good w other fish bc she never once tried to be aggressive I know males w so whenever we had males we just kept them by themselves

Frozen food is better imo because its not processed although some nutrition is lost due to freezing. I think its great to feed a betta a mixed diet..but mostly frozen is awesome
I try to as its my preferred food as bettas are carnivores but I also do feed pellet and flake so the fish get used to eating a variety of food before being sold.
Thank you ! From what I understand "lake fry larvae" are chironomids, same family as the bloodworms. I've never heard of frozen larvae that stay alive in my country (I live in France) but it sure looks interesting!
Hi creative pet keeping my baby female has a problem she some days swims perfectly and others she struggles to keep balance because she flips over on side but she corrects herself I don't know what to do can you please help me .?
me lo my beta fish , sushi , has the same problem when I over feed her ! When I first got her I over fed her too often and she would start floating on her side. It stopped once I started feeding her less. Betas will eat however much you give them. Recently a 4 year old poured half of the fish flakes I have into her tank & she ate way too much & was floating on her side again. I’d just feed her a little less :)
Man, all those healthy betas in little jars, and I couldn't keep mine alive in a 10 gallon with lives plants, heater, gentle filter, and weekly water changes. Did water tests and everything and it kept coming up all clear and perfect.
Sometimes its just bad luck. You may have gotten fish with poor genetics. Ive had a few that no matter what I did right..would just deteriorate over time :(

Veiltails seem to be super active..I think ot has something to do with the strains being healthier 😊

When I breed, I supervise my fish. If they fight I seperate them and thay that reduces damage and eliminates death

Famles can be with other fish and also with other females! Yous jsut probably need a 30G to have a sorority of females
