The algorithim fell on the right lap... you are so cute and so well spoken!!
Sharing because why not, after not having a betta since I was like 7, (28 now) I found my old betta bowl in my parents house and spuced it up for a new betta! I figured why not, how hard can it be I (my parents) did it when I was young. It was MAYBE .25 gallon bowl. I DID know enough I should get a heater this time around and maybe a little filter.... Mixed with my left over spongebob fish decorations from when I was a kids I have no idea how he managed in there lol. I was doing 100% water changes every week for about a month, and he seemed to be doing really well! Colour was great, he's a super curious little dude. Left him nearing the end of a water change for a weekend, was gone for like 3 days, came back andi noticed IMMEDIATELY some of his back tail was just gone. I could've cried. Went to the fish store ASAP... have learned ALOT since that scare. No longer traumatizing my fish with aggresive water changes, tank is like 5X the size of what he was in before, full filtration system and he's been going through his fin treatment.. so much better. But now.... I want to revamp the whole big tank once he's better, substrate, plants, floaters, possibly looking into tank mates, a whole eco system if you will... I'm excited lol. Anyway, look forward to any additonal educational videos you have to share!!

I had a one gallon tank I used for raising baby mystery snails, just a couple at any given time, just until they were big enough to go to the fish store for sale, and it took *months* for that tank to reach stable water parameters, but it did finally get there. Of course, baby mystery snails don't have much needs, food quantities required are minimal, waste production is minimal, decorations and equipment needs are minimal, there wasn't much there to upset the water parameters, and it still took forever for it stabilize. With an actual fish in there, there's no way.
That said, you could do a 100% water change every day or two in a one-gallon tank, it's not a huge burden to do that, but it would be stressful on a fish, so still not good.
A one-gallon tank can be useful for extremely temporary purposes - I've used one to give my betta a salt bath, but that's only 15 minutes in the tank, and then back to his main tank. Or if you really want to aggressively clean or rescape the betta's main tank, you can put it in a one-gallon for the duration. So it's good to have a small tank on hand, but only for these kinds of very limited uses.

Jesus died for our sins, was buried and rose again the 3rd day for our justification. Jesus is God. Once we believe we are immediately saved and have eternal life.
