Today I cover 8 of Terraria's (super duper) secret enemies. You might know some/all of these but I think it's a good watch either way!

I was just commenting that, the way he said it means that the chance of getting a girlfriend is any percent higher than 4
Fun fact: Despite the rune wizard being a caster, it has the highest melee damage of any non-boss (200 dmg normal, 600 dmg master). Touching the rune wizard deals as much damage as getting shot by a sniper skeleton with a 50 cal.
And there's Legendary mode Rune Wizard which deals 1066 dmg on contact

Thats why i FUCKING HATE rune wizards.
The Rune Wizard also has absurdly high contact damage for some weird reason. Like, 300 or more. You can die easily just from approaching it if you're not careful.
I got two shot by his contact damage and ive been absolutely stumped because i was post-moonlord and maxed out and i just.. died

Rune Wizards are competent at magic, but that's nothing confirmed to their MEAN left hook.
Weirdly enough, I'm pretty sure the only reason that rainbow slimes are rare is because of their spawning conditions. If I remember correctly, it's gotta be in the hallow, above ground, while raining... and it can only spawn on non-hallowed blocks. Hence the strange and seemingly inconsistent spawnrate.
That was changed in 1.4
It used to be like that but it now spawns on hallowed blocks
0:10 There's only 4 portable storage items in the game, The void vault/bag, The defenders forge, the safe, and the piggy bank. Chester shares an inventory with the piggy bank.

@@deondreduncan-mack8817 I was under the assumption there were 5 unique storage options in the game, so I multiplied 6 (5 Storage items + 1 Inventory) x 40 (slots per storage option) x 9999 (max items in each slot) which = 2388760. Then I had to account for the ability to hold 9999 items in your hand + 9999 in the trash can (2 x 9999) and added that to the total which gave me 2419758 items in total. I rounded up to 250000 cuz it sounded better. (This is excused due to me saying "you can carry ALMOST 2.5 million items")

pigron being so obscure and rare baffles me since my underground snow biome has been absolutely consumed by the corruption, i see like 20 pigrons an in game day when im down there lol

Rainbow blocks are a must have when making a hallow themed house. They actually turn the water gay when you make a waterfall with them

I think that the reason that they added the Rock Golem was for the concept of Skyblock, every item being able to be obtained in a world with almost nothing. Before there was like sometimes slimes dropping stone but that was it, now we have a rare cavern enemy to drop it so yay better farm for stone
As someone who plays modded with Fargo's, I'm VERY familiar with pigrons unfortunately (they spawn in oceans on eternity mode)
The fact that I knew all of these enemies shows me that I am way more addicted to terraria than I first thought
Nah it's just we have spent more time exploring around and grinding items. I always play on medium or large world which makes it harder for me to progress and I love it.

You brought back so much nostalgia with the Indiana Jones old gen mobile app image I remember as a kid I watched every play through especially the Happy Days story line play through, once I begged my mom to buy it for me I was too scared to play cuz of the worms and spiders lmao.
Rune Wizard has been my go to Vanity set for one of my main characters I make throughout every update. Love that vanity set so much

fun fact about pigron (enemy 5): in duke fishrons description, it does say that its a rare mutation of a PIGRON which is very attracted to a certain worm (truffle worm)
The rarest enemy is the shark when you are trying to make the megashark

i've spent so much time farming for the original blade staff that the cavern i used to farm the enchanted swords in has burned into my memory
When the rune wizard was first added, it wasn't rare at all in my experience. The second I entered valid spawn areas, I'd often get attacked almost immediately, I still fear those things even today because of the torture of being under near-constant siege.

I knew about all of the enemies here. As someone trying to fully complete the bestiary, I need to know every single enemy and variants in the game
On my first pc playthrough, which was even before the texture change to the hallowed armour I'm pretty sure, I remember getting the blade staff and it was really good and cool, but then on another playthrough I remember getting really confused when I looked at the wiki and found out it didn't drop by the enchanted sword
Im playing split screen with my son on the switch, large world with a random seed that I made up. We found and killed every enemy on this list in one sitting, about 4 hours of play, and the crazy thing is im pretty sure the order we found them was exactly the same as your video. At the very least Bones was first and rune jerk was last, but i swear it was dead on.
I do recognise that hat from when the mobile update that brought that logo released for me, and seeing ocram again made me smile :D
Fun fact: rune wizard's contact damage is much higher than his projectiles scaling feom 200 dmg in normal mode to *600* dmg on master mode

0:19 10 hotbar items + 40 different types items per inventory times 5 is 210 different item types, but its only 170 cause there are only 4. But its slightly less because you have to carry the storage item, or keep them in chester.
I knew about the rock golem because of the amount of money it drops and I once got it’s head too without knowing how rare it is. I also knew about the chattering teeth bomb because I made a blood moon lava trap to farm clowns for bananarangs but the teeth would sometimes kill me through the blocks so I had to make my player area one block lower. I also knew about all the others just by playing through the game and seeing them
For the rockgolem, the best solution would be for it to drop some sort of idk rock gun that uses stone as ammo. It could also use hallow and evil stone varients for special effects. Maybe it can get an upgrade later on.

I find it funny that everyone complains about being able to find him.
I don’t even look for him, and he will show up multiple times when I’m exploring or building a plantera arena.
6:45 I farmed the blade staff in 1.4 before it was made a queen slime drop. It was definitely op as an enchanted sword drop, even if it was rare.
for the pigron i though it aways spawns at ice biome because the first time i saw it my ice was corupted already and now it is hallowed
The pigron also has a 2% chance of dropping scaly truffle mount which is basically a wallmart version of the shrimpy truffle since it only has a LIMITED flight time
Well pigron can be a walmart version of duke
Seeing all those chances made me wonder how i got them all (except pigron) in a span of 2 days (irl), first i found the the chattering teeth when i entered hardmode, beat the mech bosses the same day and went to the hollow to kill queen slime, after beating her i then found the rainbow slime not once but 2 TIMES, i also went to the ice biome to make pylons on different biomes and went there and svvidentally found the wolf, the next day happened and i was trying to get full turtle armor gear and i was farming in the surface because the hollow biome combined with my jungle biome which increased the spawns, i stayed there for 3 days straight and found the good ol Dr Bones. I then went to my mob farm and found the rock golem which i thought eould give me something but it only gave me 20 stones so i really didnt care about it after i killed it. And ofcourse the Rune eizard which i found while going on my hellevator.
Funnily enough when i tried getting the blade staff i didnt realize that they changed the drop from cursed weapons to queen slime so i killed a bunch and then realized that they changed it
Fun fact the rock golem head can grow flowers on it I know this cause I actually have it it’s pretty cool sadly it breaks off when you try to break it and wear it still pretty neat!
It might be that I play Terraria too much but I know all of those enemies and I knew that the blood stuff originally dropped from the sword enemy in the hallow. I was confused as to how it dropped eventually because I went in farmed it later on when they said it to a Queen slime drop

I got the blade staff from the enchanted sword enemie and when i went to do another playthrough as summoner i was confused because i couldn't get the blade staff to drop from the enchanted swords

2:45 Terraria's grid system works in feet, every tile is 2 feet. Meaning the rainbow slime is 8x8 feet = 64 squared feeet and not 169. Also, at 7:00, the rune wizard isn't a miniboss. Enemies have banners, minibosses and bosses have boss bars and trophies, bosses have relics. This means that the dreadnautilus also isn't a miniboss, just a strong enemy.

Once ive spent a whole day farming enchanted swords waiting it to drop the blade staff, then i got informed it changed to queen slime, i was sad

I've only seen the rainbow slime long before the conversion where mobile and pc were the same, I had a world where the spawn was in the hollow

Ayy i knew about all these Enemies. Though, i only found out about the wolf a couple days ago because it spawned on my roof at night because there was snow on my roof :/. Pretty funny way to find out wolves were in the game lmao.
It took me over 100 hours to find doctor bones. It took so long i had beaten every other slayer quest including mecha-mayhem
When you need to find the enemy for items it won't spawn
But when you don't care about the enemy it always spawns
the rune wizard spawns so commonly the thought of it being unknown never crossed my mind (even tim has spawned less in my worlds), but i assure you, when i do a wizard run and want cool wizard clothing it will NEVER appear

I always assumed the Clown shot out projectiles like a normal enemy rather than an enemy shooting out more enemies.
Rainbow slimes can only spawn on non hallowed blocks in the hallow while its raining. I dont know why.

Been playing since 1.1. The only enemy I had no clue about was the chattering teeth. Actually, now that I think about it I don’t think I’ve encountered a clown since they were capable of blowing up tiles

My dedicated melee character has a Rune Wizard hat.
It fits him. He throws swords and people die.
A ranged weapon that lets you throw rocks would be a great drop from the rock golem
i remember the time when i was grinding enchanted swords for 4 hours just to realize 1.4.1 made it so that they don't drop the blade staff anymore
And then there's the poisonous spore that only has an unobtainable banner and doesn't even have its own sprite or code as an enemy

Chattering teeth is very noticeable for master mode players because it is one of those mobs capable of one-shotting you

I’ve felt with the rock golems, one shot the cursed sword and hammer and I have a pigron statue
blade staff is one of the best feeling weapons in terraria
I remember getting my ass handed to me by the stone golem, like 3 mfs spawned in (not at the same time but in the same place) while I was trying to figure out what the hell I needed to do in hard mode
I don't understand using the same class for an entire playthrough, I usually main ranger or melee for majority of the playthrough and then go for mage or stay as ranger at the end. Because I store every single weapon, potion, and accessory I get throughout the game, so even if I play as ranger for majority of the game, I could swap to mage whenever I want.
It simply boils down to challenge runs and a player’s taste in gameplay. After 1.4 I quite like summoner class as I can dodge more freely and let the minions do their job at killing enemies
