@@crazyfire9470 it’s such an overdone joke and applied horribly on top of that. Legitimate cringe but I’ll give them a minor pass because sometimes my jokes are also god awful
You forgot a huge difference: the soundtrack! In Rebrushed, the paint and thinner themes when you obtained guardians are mixed up, and many stingers and scores were removed entirely, including Oswald's theme in his throne room! What an injustice! TT_TT
I remember folks noticing one more difference: the density of the substance stream that is fired from the brush. Paint has a thicker and goopier look to it, while thinner is, well, more thin and liquid.
You left out the most startling change for Inside The Blot: The lost essences of absorbed toons (those inky zombie things) now show up in some of the tunnels. A Pete-shaped zombie was also added.
I think the most distracting addition/removals were the music UI. For example, certain tracks from the original were removed like Bog Easy and the prelude to Captain Hook’s battle. Why they were removed I have no idea.
the people that made the game primarily used the wiki to keep track of things, and also werent working with a alot, other then just a bunch of assets, it's not suprising they didnt miss a few things here and there. what i can see as most likely, is theyre probably trying to get an understanding of how much content they forget to add, and perhaps readd them at a later time
@@JSheerXeno54 I’d like to know where you got that information, because last I heard they were actively replaying the original during development and taking notes specifically to not miss anything. So that’s completely different from what I heard while in the Discord before release.
@@GamerTheVoidGamingCentre im not sure what was going on in development, i've mainly seen videos here on youtube about it, and miscellaneous videos... like this one. Even if i was wrong on them primarily using the wiki, only reason i said that is because someone noticed quiet a few of the game errors are similar to errors made on the wiki, is all... it could be wrong at the end of the day, but regardless, as this video shows, there are some things they didnt add, like the bog easy song (a personal favorite of mine actually) and other small things like all cows being goats (might have gotten cows and goats mixed up, they DO look the same somewhat) but my last point was that they might be planning to correct the bugs, but im not sure.
@@JSheerXeno54 I can see where you’re coming from and they said in the D23 interview they did both use the Wiki and replay the game while taking notes. A few small changes I noticed at the beginning of the game: -The design if the teacup ride is different with a visible pin chest at the top (don't remember if there was one in the original) and the teacups themselfs having different designs (though the dialogue saying the wrench is in a red-striped cup is technically wrong since the whole cup is red now) -The first pain/thinner pump is now moved to the back of the corridor next to the paintable pipes, presumably for clarity reasons - The face on the first door of the boat ride changed from I believe Oswald's to an elephant head -The Spatters in the start of the Asian area of the boat ride are now dressed like geishas (I think) instead of rice farmers, which...probably for the best lol Also, minor clarification: the guardian bar didn't get lowered to two from three, rather it's functionality got split into two elements: the pips showing how many guardians you have, and the bars showing exclusively your progress towards earning a Tint or a Turp
Overall the remake adds a lot of quality of life improvements, but I do think the UI and Interface in the original was a lot better, specially with the watercolor effects
If they're gonna remake tpot then they better change the story and add a feature to switch between mickey and Oswald so you don't have to deal with the lobotomized ai in singleplayer
I believe the developer of Rebrushed (Purple Lamp) said that they want to do a remake of the sequel and are waiting for the green light from the publisher (THQ)
Why did they get rid of the ripple effect when you go through a projector? It looks like someone's first attempt or a beta animation now instead of a final one
...yeah, bit of a weird change, honestly. So are there like, no goat characters anymore? Actually, how can folks tell? They still kinda look the same to me, at least in that example when we talk to Loralee.

I was really hoping they’d changed Prescotts clothes design in this as well, since they changed his entire look in the second game when he becomes the protagonist.
Photo mode from what I've seen is literally the perfect tool for "goof amassing", as in really stupid and funny photos of mickey and other characters midway through certain actions.
