I worked for years at a restaurant done so much and was always willing to take shifts for co workers and never really got promoted or anything. This speaks a lot to people. When you've done a certain job and done it well for years you should be rewarded a higher position to compliment the worker's dedication. Thus bringing him to a better position in life. One cannot simply leave a worker who has been dedicated to you in the same position for years and years without any acknowledgement of moving up. I pray those who works hard and shows their boss how they are dedicated to the business will one day maintain a higher position and be paid accordingly for their time. That's how people should move up in financial security. But some bosses can't do it because they fail to recognize that trust is a valuable lesson. This is how a boss should treat his co-workers. This is how a boss should care. Recognizing the person who works for you does a tremendous amount of magic. He realizes the importance of everyone in conjunction. This is how you should see your restaurant. Your workers are family and they deserve just as much attention as the food they work hard to put out. This is why I am eager to learn sushi and the techniques in culinary arts for sushi.
ty for your comment....you have spoken so much truth here and so sad that many who work hard don't get what the deserve. Owning a restaurant is also a huge challenge, to make sure at the end of the month it will be profitable. Wonderful recommendation Chef, and I love your shirt! I hail from Atlanta, Georgia...but would certainly try anything on your list when travelling! Looking forward to your next video...
I highly recommend anyone who loves sushi to try this experience at least once in their life, it is an amazing experience. Sadly the sushi chef who prepared the sushi for me when I went there last year is gone :( I hope he is doing well wherever he is. I remember these two guys next to me were being disrespectful and pretentious, talking down about the place saying it wasn't as good as so and so's place and speaking with zero regard for the fact that the man preparing their meal can still hear them talking down about the place. IF any of you go, i at least hope you don't have to see the same disrespectful behavior that I saw. Thankfully, the food was so good it was easy to ignore them for most of the meal lol.
so great to hear your experience from here...and sad to hear some people being disrespectful, but that is just how life is....Thank you for being here!
Ethandizonn: In total agreement with you. With the high standards, honor, and importance of respect that is a part of everyday life in Japan, I am shocked that anyone would conduct themselves like that. That's really disgusting.
You'll never work a day in your life if you truly love what you do! I'd give anything to be there at that restaurant and eat some sushi with Hiro and the dream team. Excellent video! Good sushi would be my last meal if I had the choice. Good bless you guys and I hope to one day experience a dream come true with you guys! (P.s.... I eat sushi in one bite😉) ✌
