One time (I’m currently not even a teen yet) I gave a girl something and she put it in her back pack and I wanted it back because I didn’t wanna give it to her in the first place so I waited until P.E. And I went to put my jacket by my back pack and I planned to do it when everybody else was done so I waited until nobody else was there and I went to my back pack and I went in her bag and took it back, she went to the principal and the school officer, she had something stolen from her earlier in the year and she thought it was the same person, it’s summer break and nobody knows, best part, the bags were all near a camera, and they didn’t care enough to check it to see, if they did they would’ve known it was me.
op should take a detective job so he can solve what's stolen or missing.
since he solved his mysteries of his and the other kid's games.

My siblings and I used an engraving tool kit our older brother bought, to engrave our names on our game cartridges. We were very careful, and the effort paid off because when former friends of ours stole our games or borrowed them but refused to give them back, we could prove the games were ours. Some of those thieves were punished, others had enabling parents who got mad at _us_ for “making them look bad” (not that they needed the help).
When I was a teenager, I hardly lend my games to anyone, I took too much care for people to just damage or dirty my games.
This kids system of keeping track of everything was pure genius I would have just simply ripped them off and and just knowing I would never see that money again
For the second story: Maybe get some kind of separation and move out with your stuff in storage for a while. Maybe that will make her see that it's all her doing.

Last story. He needs to get a third party involved. It could be the wife needs a wakeup call, or he needs an eye opener. As we only have one side of the story, that is the only advice I can give.
This title reminds me of my older brother's old friend. I was in elementary school and my brother was a middleschooler. They were friends up until Highschool and fastforward, I was now a middleschooler. Sometimes, our games would go missing, but we were too young to realize they were being stolen whenever my brother's friend would spend the night or come over. Jerk even stole my Nintendo DSI with my Pokemon HeartGold game in it with some pictures I took in a 5th grade field trip, memories I will never get back... Anyways, like a year after the DSI, we moved houses and my brother invited him to spend the night. I woke up late night one day, saw him at our desk looking through our games, and I tried showing him my Yugioh cards. He stole like 4 new games. My brother tried asking me if I let a friend borrow the games or gave them away without saying anything, and I said no way and I mentioned I saw him at the desk looking through our games. So my brother found out from the guy's sister that he's been buying new things with money he somehow got. This jerk has been stealing and selling our games and my fucking DSI. I never got that shit back and my brother had him buy him 3 brand new games, even though this jerk literally stole like 10+ games and a DSI.

I can relate a bit to story 1. I made a friend when I was preparing to start freshman year of high school (2006) named Joey. I regarded him as my best friend. He got me back into the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game & Dragonball Z Abridged. Fast forward to the past half decade and he returns from a long absence to reveal that he and his dad (who's been battling Crohn's Disease for years) are now homeless. I thought he wanted to reconnect legitimately. He noticed that I was wearing a Deathly Hallows pendant around my neck. Him also being a Harry Potter fan, he conned me out of it (I DEEPLY regret falling for it). I haven't seen him since.

from the foster system.. the amount of items, collections and different toys/games i’ve had stolen from jerks like the first story is fked. never took friends or trusted anyone after the system. preferred all my material crap cuz it wouldn’t fk me over. Regarding the Game thief, he has done it so organized, so early in life, coldly pretending to be a friend. He will be a criminal all his life, he's brain already hardwired to steal. He is also most possibly a sociopath. My guess is that he will just steal other stuff to pay off his parents.

The video game story sounded like my cousin. He would steal video games or borrow them but give them to other people for money or just to keep as his own. If any thing said to him about it he would throw fit and try to fight us. Even though he always got his ass kicked lol
Something similar happened to Story 1 happened to me back in High School except the guy not only stole a video game from me but also stole my Camera and my PE Shorts. The Campus Police Officer ended up arresting him and he admitted he was guilty. Before the guy was arrested he sold my Video Game and Camera but he couldn’t sell my PE Shorts because they had my name on them.
This is exactly why I barely buy physical copies of games I don’t have ocd but I do the same thing I’m just naturally like that

story 1: I'm similar to this dude, but with my magic cards. as soon as NFC's became common place, i began packing a slim NFC ship into each of my card's double sleeves with each being scanned into my PC and saved to an external SSD, listing the quantity that i have, as well as the quality and approximate value (with an auto updating code, linking the values to an online card database that updates anytime the SSD is hooked up to an internet connected computer). yeah, i went a little overboard, but it brings me peace of mind after i had someone steal my Exodia and the three god cards (yu-gi-oh, back when those were the ultimate cards to have).

Its kinda sad that my "friend" from 20years have been fucked up dude for years and i dont want to hear from him anymore. I have literally gave him almost everything he have asked and he wont even respect me. I have been deppressed af for 4-5 years and he is always pissed if i wont answer him and i have to say same thing to him every time and he "know how it is when deppressed" lol. He borrow things from me and wont return when asked. Once i asken my madventures cd pack back agan after year he yelled that i havent asked it before and he borrowed his cd pack to me and i said that i returned it when you asked and he was just quiet. Other thing is that i have been asking my ps4 controller for 2-3 years back but he always say that he will bring it next time. Last time he visited he borrowed something that he should have returned next day and i have txt him but no response etc. Im done with him.. He gave me things woth of 5eur he said "remember it sometime" aka give gim shit back, but i was just like wtf, i have literally let him and his gf back then freeload from me like over at least 600eur and i never said him to "remember it sometime" :D

Story number 3... The wife is most likely suffering from depression. She needs extreme therapy, and most likely medication, possibly for the rest of her life. Check with your insurance through work to see if therapy is covered, otherwise in America dial 2-1-1 for help finding an affordable therapist, and help for the wife. If the problem got worse after childbirth she might also be suffering from postpartum depression. Let a doctor diagnose her. I'm guessing because of how many women I know who suffer from depression and the horrible side effects this causes, especially if it keeps going on untreated. She might also be suffering from Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. She needs help, if the husband doesn't try to get her help, he's the jerk.

Day 6 of asking for these stories because I cannot post on reddit, my parents don't want me on it, (rightfully so,) but I have a couple stories, and I really want to get mine into a video.
Crazy Lady From my school wants Me to leave the bathroom because a smaller kid peeked under the stall, and I got mad.
So, for reference I was in the 5th grade at this point, and I was in the bathroom minding my business, doing... what you would usually do in there, when this kid smiling runs up to the stall and peeks under, I yelled in both Suprise and anger. he was probably in about 2nd grade, so he should've known better at this point.
I was in the downstairs bathroom, because, at the time the upstairs bathroom was gross as hell. A lady nearby says: Hey! stop yelling at little kids you are older! You have lost your BATHROOM PRIVEGES. I'm sorry, What?!?!! Schools are so controlling. I denied and told her what happened. she did not care at all. She continued to count down to call the principle over this. she came and ended up acting really chill (which is not usual) and waited for me to be done. I asked for her to be talked to, (I really just wanted this lady fired) but I don't think she was ever punished, nor the kid.

Random karen get mad for me saying excuse me. This is a rather short story but I will tell it anyways, I was at the arcade with my dad. And this lady and her baby was in the way of the claw machine That I wanted to use. She wasn't using it I think she was just changing a diaper. I politely asked: "Excuse me"

Crazy principle won't hear that I that I zoned out. So I was just getting done with recess and kind of just put a Hulu hoop down on the ground.
And the Recess duty, Asks me to put it away I zone back in and ask her what she said And she was already calling the office over this. I told her that this was a misunderstanding and I zoned out And she said that that was somehow worse! I got sent to the office, And had to wait for my crappy school lunch for like an hour more than my classmates. Someone finally gets inherent of course. It's the vice principle who's always Super mean for no reason. I just explained what happened and she said. Okay, are you never explained it again? That it was by accident and it might happen again. I'm not one to just lie, And say it will never happen again. Just cause they want me to. But she kept repeating like a broken record player and Kept saying do you understand?? do you understand?!?!?! Am I the jerk for zoning out?
