    7:36 the upgradeable SSD is also something to keep in mind for pricing. It will always be cheaper to buy the lowest spec Surface and put an 1TB SSD in there yourself.
    Here in the Netherlands the upgrade from the 256GB SSD 16GB RAM to the 1TB SSD 32GB RAM is a €1000 difference. A compatible 1TB SSD that fits in the Surface (with even faster read and write speeds) is €200. I doubt the remaining €800 is worth the 16GB extra RAM to anyone

      Maybe watch some videos about the Surface pro 8 vs the new Surface pro 9 to see what is best for your use-case. From what I know there isn't a huge difference so if you find a good deal on the pro 8, buy that, if they're almost the same price, buy the pro 9

    Excellent video! Thank you. If you could do one with the newly released iPad Pro 11” 4th gen and surface pro 9 when both available that would be great. Interestingly, the MS9 with 12th gen Intel CPU would even beat the 2-in-1 XPS in a shameful way for Dell…

    • @chroesu
      @chroesu Год назад

      Quite obvious that any 12th gen Intel device would outperform the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 because it's a fanless device. Personally I can say that the Surface Pro has a microphone issue when the fan is working. So a fanless device isn't that powerfull offcourse but if you want that silence it's still powerfull enough.

      @@MashITTech I just picked up the new M2 12.9" iPad pro over Surface Pro9 after handling both in person. As a tablet (not a PC) the Surface Pro9 is heavy to hold, heavy enough to notice, almost 2 pounds!! Ipad 12.9 is just barely passable at 1.5lbs but noticeably lighter. As a PC/Alienware guy, I needed something light in a tablet. I will grudgingly admit that apple implements many tablet features better. And that liquid retina XDR Display sealed the deal for me :)

    Nice review. I'm a Windows tablet fan in general and Surface fan, I'm on my 2nd Surface. Surface is always a bit behind in specs, but for my use that doesn't matter. Surface can be expensive at launch so wait just a bit and there are always deals and bundles. The Dell just doesn't look ergonomic, and the built in kickstand is what makes the Surface, so convenient, why don't other large tablets just copy MS? I'm glad to see competition, but even happier MS stuck it out with the Surface (10 years now) and keeps refining it.

      I don't think Dell was planning to place the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 as a counterpart to the Surface Pro line. With all respect: "...but looses..." English language spelling does not contain the word looses; an all-too-common spelling mistake. The word should be lost, notice lost, lose, losing, loss, all have one letter o. As we know, loose means something not tight, thus there is not a looses. Badda-Boom 🙂

    In Short, SP 8 > XPS13,
    SP8 = Better, 128HZ screen, much better kickstand. removable SSD, More ports
    Above all SP8 has better GPU for performance ie graphics designing or 3d rendering.
    XPS = Better battery life, passive fan so low noise, and CPU
