im doing the same thing with my 68 but y'all need to upload that thing already i want to see how it comes out already
love your enthusiasm
but was wondering why you didn't go the whole hog and blast all the platform b4 you put on all the new metal
Nice job…..makes me wanna go find a junked 6 banger
Go for it!
Is it possible to do the same FB conversion starting from a '67 convertible ? I found one that has been modified to a pick up with a roll cage !
I did a 66 coupe to fastback, used a cut off roof, how much about was all the fastback dynacorn sheetmetal fastback specific only ?
Would love to know what these go for after you’ve finished with it ? 😊
hello, i'm watching you from Thailand, can you tell me where can i order all of these Fastback parts ? ThanX 🙏
do you do these conversions for customers?
Seriously considering this same conversion, as it seems relatively straight forward. However, was wondering if you had any experience with the inner bracing and brackets that are sold along with these kits. Stang-Aholics sells one such kit with 42 pieces, but without an original fastback for reference, I'm not sure how someone is supposed to know where each bracket should go. Did you do this step during this build?
I hope to show another complete conversion soon but yes the brackets for the interior are sold as a piece kit and great quality. They are pricy though!
You can find locating info for each bracket. I’ll try and find a diagram or create one myself…I think it would be super helpful
what was the build budget?
If my ‘67 coupe didnt have relatively fresh paint id probably consider this….but then it would probably take a hit on its value…..if it was a 6 banger car then i wouldnt care
Do you know if they have a Coupe to fastback kit for a 69?
Not a kit that I’m aware of. The sheet metal is available though. Will need to piece a parts list.
You mentioned you had 18 hours into this. With both of you working, is that 18 total, or 36 man hours? Either way, impressive!
36 man hours. Seriously…we worked efficiently together but surprise to me it really doesn’t take that long to convert. Thank you!!
How much did you sell it for?
Are the unused a pillars for sale?
Yes I will not need them.
