That whole album was insanely good. It's incredibly underrated and honestly maybe my favorite overall Pumpkins album with Siamese Dream.

This song is very shoegaze. The droning feedback, the white noise strumming, it's all so beautiful.

Probably the best song on the very good new album from the Smashing Pumpkins.
Next to the original lineup, this was the best version of the Pumpkins. Ginger Reyes and Lisa, the keyboardist, kicked ass.
I respectfully disagree…… Melissa auf der Mayr as bassist and James Iha before his departure for a perfect circle was far superior to the Zeitgeist lineup. Machina and the machines of god was the Apex of The Smashing Pumpkins. Every song on featured on that album were perfect. I will say that this track, bleeding the orchid, and doomsday clock were phenomenal but not enough to make the Zeitgeist lineup stand against the 2000s Pumpkins. I’m glad Iha returned…. Really hoping Machina part Two comes soon!
Nicole was definitely the most talented pumpkin bassist on record.

mainstream music is in such a bad place right now. SP are are on of the only bands out there that makes real music. Even if you don't think this is as good as old SP we still need to support them. And hey Billy is a genius so he will just keep comin out wit better stuff.

and it was GOOD. more than that.
thats because on the cd its Billy playing bass, lead, and rhythm guitar. He's also doing backing vocals too. When recording Zeitgeist, Billy didn't have his live crew yet. After the album was recorded he recuited the live crew like on Live Earth. That may be reason why all the songs sound better live off of Zeitgeist.

i think that´s SP is the same of the past...
I don't know if I ever responded to this, but I know all my friends do, but I mean I'm talking about in general. It seems like even the hardcore fans were a little divided though. Anyways, when I posted that comment I don't think I completely understood the way pumpkins had been boxed in by their hits, which I think contributed as well to a general aura of disappointment with Zeitgeist upon its release. I didn't listen to them then, so this is really just based on what I've read since.
