I recently came across the MM (Medical Medium) info and have been bingeing it. He mentions TCM briefly in the celery book. He states that an overburdened and sluggish liver due to latent viruses, heavy metals, chemicals, parasites is a cause for coldness/dampness. Therefore celery juice actually helps resolve the root issues and bring someone back into balance. This makes sense to me.
My opinion is that if someone was cold/damp and maybe concerned about the info in this video but wanted to benefit from celery juice, they could add warming things like ginger tea and garlic and some cooked veggies into their day as well so that the diet isn't purely raw or cooling foods.

Thank you so much for this video, Dr Alex. I started on the celery juice about two weeks ago and I have had devastating results. Significant pain radiating from my left kidney area and lower back. I finally started suspecting the celery juice and then found this video. Unfortunately I had already had my juice for the day.My mouth is so dry I can barely talk or swallow. I have been told by two Ayurvedic doctors in the past that I have a damp constitution. I am Vata/Pitta. Sadly I took up this celery juice on the advice of a lady in the organic shop. She meant well but it has done me much harm. I am three months post total hip joint replacement surgery, I have Psoriatic Arthritis and Sjogren’s. I have to learn to stop accepting advice from well meaning others who don’t understand that we all have different constitutions and there is no one size fits all solution. I hope the damage done can be quickly undone. Another thing I would like to mention. I have been a vegetarian or quasi vegetarian for all of my life. I’m 77 now. For some time, now, I have been suspecting that vegetables, particularly, are no longer good for me. I think my body has had just too many over the years and they are now toxic to me. I won’t go on the carnivore diet but I am adding more and more meat to my diet. It is so important, it seems to me, to be open to other ideas and not hold fast to what we have always believed. And to not follow advice from others without doing some research. I hope I learn my lesson from this. Again, thank you. I am so very glad you posted this video and I stumbled across it.

I put away my cane. I could go up stairs without assistance. I started hiking and wearing high heals again, (only 3 inches now). I went in the river swimming again, and rode down the current. You are so right. I am a licensed Acupuncturist . I did the celery juice and got benefits from it but I tend towards cold damp though I am not thin but was when I was younger. I had to quit doing it do to the effects of borborygmus that reared it's ugly head . I have a history of candidiasis and food sensitivities. I also seem to lean towards phlegm and damp heat. So with the heat it works but with the cold it does not and too much damp UGH. I do love MM but his protocols are very cold and damp forming . I do think they overall work best with younger people who may have more heat? I am in my late 60's. I did use it with patients when I was practicing ie the Celery Juice and overall they got great results but I would not recommend it for everyone. MM suggests cucumber juice as an alternative for someone with weak digestion. I have thought about trying that but then again it is a sweet/ cold food energetically.

Thank you so much for your wisdom. I grew up with TCM, am no expert about it but know bits here and there. Some of the health trends can be so contrary to TCM practice, finally someone said it. Some nutritionists recommend drinking cold water to burn a few more calories because the body needs to warm up the cold water. Another doctor said that's nonsense. For me, I grew up being told never to start the day with a cold drink. When I read a TCM book, it also mentioned not to disturb the stomach ... it is like the warm oven. And to pour cold water over the warm oven in the morning is a no-no. Can you comment on that?

My 2 cents; body reacts to cold by initiating vasoconstriction, with that in mind, cold water in the stomach would be slower to absorb. Another example of cold induced vasoconstriction is trying obtaining a pulse ox reading on someone with cold fingers; many times I’d have the patient place their hands in their armpits to warm the fingers. Again, just my 2 cents

The diahreah is astonishing though not painful since its just changing the osmotic preasure in the stomach. When taking the celery juice you generally want to take a calcium chewable, magnesium gylcinate capsule, some extra salt and a little extra potassium foods like kiwi. Add some lemon juice and k-2 10mg or 10,000mcg due to the oxolates. I think it works well to jumpstart a new diet or if you have a blockage and have made up your mind to try to resolve it prior to seeking medical treatment but not an everyday ordeal, like 2 days tops. Some people get a sweet tooth after this cleanse and that's as a result of the electrolytes being off. Just anecdotal but I feel pretty good for weeks after and typically do this twice a year, 4 days in total. But as this gentlemen pointed out its not for everyone and he has had actual patients where it might make a situation worse.

But somehow he didn't mention this important info.
But again, somehow, he tried to make a very important point about how celery would destroy your health... by consuming it in an 'advanced' dosage of 50-60 oz per day... (This is the 'right moment' where he tried to 'smoothly' introducing his Chinese-Medicine product, he tried to positioned his product above Celery Juice, by giving a bad example and wrong protocol of doing Celery-Juice detoxing program,
    I mean... 50-60 oz ? wtf...?? ).
But yeah ok, can't blame him to promote his Business on his channel

I understand about a persons constitution but what about causes of fatigue when blood tests reveal iron deficiency? How does Chinese medicine address something like that ? I know that’s two questions . But for example, I know I have a lingering tooth problem and I’m stubborn to not wanting to pull it. And I suspect the beginnings of my bladder weakness and eye floaters and wrist pain as well as a little bump on my shoulder and clavical is happening all at the same time when the tooth began to finally abscess . Enoch, stomach acid is much helped by Betaine HCL with or without pepcid. Try to find gee emm oh free for any supplements so you don't get worse. One patient needed 8 with high meat suppers, people very different in needs.
Find Dr. Berg and other videos on using B1 viramine in 4 different forms and increasing doses to improve the cold extremities, digestion and inability to form your own B's in small intestine. They are saying it works faaarrr better if you find a B 100 type multi B to take at the same time. All B problems respond best to people on a mixed B first. Research gee emm ohs. Drop them ALL for 6 weeks, see if you want it for good.
Floressence Tea removes heavy metals and pesticides gently over 3 to 4 months or4 to 6 boxes. Insomnia ends day 15 and anxiety and depression slowly dissappear over the next weeks . Floride water will wreck it 40%. Distilled water in plastic wrecks it 60%. So use well water or distilled water in your glass gallons from the water store. About 45$ per 3 week box. G. Emm. Oh, plus Floressence, plus a grain free strict keto diet for the same 6 weeks has been miraculous in a number of people. The tea issteep 15 minutes, cover overnight, steep 15 minutes and into glass bottles, may drink cold 2x daily on an empty stomach.

We don’t live in a “simulation”,
or at least not in the sense that it’s like a computer game.
Although the computer game metaphor does provide a useful tool
to understanding the nature of reality.
People generally don’t understand the interplay
between the phenomenological world and consciousness.
They are not separate from each other, they are one and the same, two sides of the same coin.
You have to understand that the phenomenological physical world
    wouldn’t exist without consciousness.
Without a conscious perceiver, physical reality, the universe, is just information.
It is the existence of consciousness that decodes that information into a perceivable reality.
Much like a computer game is nothing but information on a disc,
which is then decoded by the computer and presented as a world
on a screen to be experienced.
Another aspect to this is the issue of free will.
We say we have free will, but you can’t transform yourself into a dragon
and fly to Jupiter to eat pancakes with Darth Vader.
So we only really have free will within certain parameters.
Like the parameters of a computer game.
Consider that when you play a big open world computer game,
all of the millions of different choices you can make are all encoded on the disc
    and exist all at once.
It seems like you have free will,
but every decision you make is already programmed within the parameters of the game.
The sum total of all existence and all reality,
everything that has existed, does exist and ever will exist, exists at all times infinitely.
I think the world we perceive,
at the conscious level we perceive it,
is a projection down to our third dimensional reality
    from higher dimensions,
which begins at a realm of infinite information and possibility,
which then projects down through multiple dimensions
and becomes more refined and solid
until you start getting perceivable worlds like ours.
For an easy way to imagine this,
you can take a three dimensional cube
and use it to project a shadow of a two dimensional square.
If you change the orientation of the cube, the shadow can also look like a hexagon.
Nothing has changed at the three dimensional level, just the orientation.
This is three dimensions projecting down into two dimensions,
but now consider it going up the other way...
Try and think of what a four dimensional or five dimensional cube would look like.
You can’t, because we live in a three dimensional world.
Just like how a being that lived in a two dimensional world
wouldn’t be able to imagine what a sphere looks like.
It’s not a “simulation”, it’s just the nature of the reality we live in.
This is just what it does.
    Nothing was ever created,
    nothing is ever truly destroyed.
Everything is an endlessly churning, recycling sea of energy and information,
that produces consciousness at various levels
in order to experience itself objectively.

I am doing a 50% mix of celery and cabbage for the juicing. It burned my throat slightly when I drank it. I don't know if it's the cabbage or the celery - tomorrow I am going to separate them out and drink them separately to see which one it is or if it's both. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know if it's because my esophagus is damaged and needs to heal as well.

I would often order chicken wings when I would go out to eat. Occasionally, I would experience a reaction after consuming the wings. My eyes would swell up to the point that they were just slits I could barely see through. My lips would swell, so much so I would have difficulty pronouncing my words. Other than that, there would be minor occurrences that differed in presentation and severity. Itchy tongue, scratchy throat ,and sometimes a slight wheeze. Though bothersome at the time, and because I couldn't understand why this would happen only on occasion, average guesstimate about once every 4 to 5 times of wing dining and the symptoms seem to clear up within 3 to 5 hours with a noted reduction within 1 to 2 hours after dining, I just accepted it as just one of those things. I couldn't contribute the reaction to one restaurant, one flavor, or style of cooking, baked or fried. It made no sense. But then, one day, I, along with my sister, took my father to one of my favorite wing places, Wild Wings, and ordered the 50 piece and together chose 5 flavors. About halfway through our gorging, I noticed one of my eyes was starting to feel itchy. I immediately realized what was about to occur, so I stopped eating the wings and nibbled on the celery sticks that always accompany any wing order. Because celery was, for me, an acquired taste that I developed in my late 30s, I only on occasion would eat a few sticks generously dipped in ranch dressing. But this evening, I ate many more sticks than I usually would because my father and sister were still working on the 20 or so wings still waiting to be devoured. After eating my 6th or 7th stick of celery in a row, the swelling began to increase rapidly in both of my eyes. My top lip instantly began puffed up as if I had been punced. This is when my father took notice, asking me if I was feeling okay. He then started stating why he asked. "Your face is bright red, and it is traveling down your neck. Your right ear is awollen along with your eyes and lips. And where your face isn't red, the skin looks too white." My sister, who was sitting beside me, took notice as she loudly exclaimed, "Oh my GOD, what is wrong with you?!" She then handed me a mirror from her purse, and I saw that my reaction was far worse than I had experienced before. I began explaining to my father the history of this confusing reaction I would have after eating wing, but not all the time, and couldn't associate it with one particular thing. He immediately asked if it was the celery. It was like the brightest light turned on over my head. It made perfect sense. I only on occasion eat just a couple of celery sticks during my wing binging episodes and never eat two, let alone 6 or 7 in a row. From that point on, I've not eaten a single stick of celery and haven't experienced another reaction. With that long-winded story over, I wanted to ask if you heard of people experiencing allergic reactions to celery? I've searched, but I always get videos or web pages discussing all the wonderful benefits of juicing. That's how I came to your video today. If you could direct me to or have any information on celery allergies, such as the pathophysiology, what in the celery causes a reaction, and the prevalence of it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Oh, great video, by the way. 😀
