Another outstanding tip, from the old days. Master the basics, and you'll be come a master modeler too.
Thank you SO MUCH !
great idea im deffo gonna get one,i was watching nigels modelling bench b4 and he was reviewing ur tomcat book which looks really good by the way so i decided to pop on and check some of ur videos which are great keep up the good work
The marker pen really help me out thanks
Bought one in red, one in orange. They work very well. Should have gotten a dark color for contrast on darker plastic. On neutral grey, silver and lighter colors the lighter colors are great.
Great idea. I could have used it on several parts of a dragster kit I built recently (a really old kit. Probably 30 year old one that I "inherited from my dads collection). I'm guessing that the marker type/brand doesn't really matter? As long as it leaves a good smooth mark and doesn't orange peal. Alcohol markers?
G"day Spencer, That's a really great little tip. What other colours would you suggest for models that are molded in black plastic or dark blue? Cheers, BH
Can you use a Sharpie or Magic Marker for this technique? Thanks!
I tried a sharpie and it seemed to bleed under the paint but when i used the pen in the video it worked great
Great idea for old models, no use for modern kits with no sink Mark's and perfect wings.
Hello.can you use any marker pen?
Why couldn't you use a magic marker?
Get to the ideas earlier
It takes 30 seconds to begin discussing the ideas in this video. How much quicker would you like me to get to them - maybe talk over the opening titles..?
