I love these normal lawn vids, kinda burned out from watching all the golf course stuff
Although I do agree, I also enjoy the more technical side of the golf course videos.
The golf course videos still will give you the info you need for your home lawn too, Ben always includes how you can do what he does on your own lawn.
Lawn looks great! I would love to see a Reno on the plants by the house, don’t know if you’ve ever done stuff like that before.
I don’t always post a comment but when I do I say great video
Just waiting for the day you release your products in the u.s.
I knew very little about my lawn, but I’ve learned heaps from you. Can’t wait to see your products over here. Cheers
Great stuff! You've convinced me to get the spring bundle to go with the Barricade I've been planning on getting 👍
I would you like to see videos of you doing sites visits and working on other people's lawns. Think Burke's Backyard Turf Edition.
looking great!!
That looks frigging awesome 👌👌
Haven’t watched for a while mate but that was very enjoyable. Lawns looking tip top👍
In your previous video, you talked about a wanting to get a new lawn mower, if I recall. I'd suggest the Honda HRU196PBUH, which is not self-propelled but has a blade brake. It's commercial grade without spending nearly $2k on their big, heavy HRU216 commercial mower. I used to own one of those big ones when I owned a lawn mowing business and it was fantastic in terms of reliability and ease of maintenance and was great on nice big lawns. But it had its drawbacks in that it was VERY heavy (not great when you're making lots of turns) and with it being self-propelled, it significantly reduced the size of the rear chute for getting grass into the catcher and if the grass was wet, not only would the wheels spin and rip up the grass, but the chute would easily clog up. That's why I recommend the 196, as it's just as reliable, will start first time every time. Speaking of which, the blade brake is better than the engine brake, as you won't have to restart it every time when you empty the catcher. It also isn't as heavy as the 216 and has a nice wide chute for picking up wet, thick grass with ease. The 196 is the perfect size for that front lawn area of yours. You could even use it on the fringes of the putting green if you wanted to.
Nice! I went heavy on sand for my Kik reno and it’s got a long way to go. Can’t wait to get a cylinder mow in once it’s properly filled in!
Wow you mow as fast as Billy Wizz!😮
great video ben ki can look really good looked after
Looking good mate!
Great work, Ben!
With my cylinder mower at the work shop, I've gone with 25mm with the Victa rotary on the Kikuyu after the reno. Looking pretty shmick, but, like yourself, my goal is 15mm for the year.
Looking sweet mate 👍🏻
Need a fairway update mate!
Man, I did my Zoysia reno a week b4 you and its no where near as filled in, yours looks awesome.
It's been low/mid 20's here in Syd with an occasional 30+ day but it shows how fast Kikuyu grows compared to Zoysia.
I used to have zoysia and it took months and months to recover. It's a really nice grass but if you enjoy mowing then you could be waiting a while!
I’m in qld and same thing with my zoysia. Taking its sweet time!
Same with my EZ, taking a much longer time this season to grow back in QLD. Glad to know I’m not the only impatient one 😂
Interested to know what your thoughts on how the Protea goes compared to the Rover.
What kind of reel mover is that? What is a U.S. comparable version? Thanks for all your excellent content!
Giving up on the fairway mate
If you look in the background you can see some trenches 😉

to it
Can you come to Tucson and help me level my back yard, lol
would dearly like to order from your site however freight to Bundaberg is somewhat expensive Ben
Same to everywhere with my website actually. All comes down to weight
Is regular mowing just measuring the grass and maintaining the 1/3 rule to keep the same HOC each mow?
So mowing could be daily every second day ect depending on the measurement?
Just purchased your spring mix. I have a persistent dry patch on my Zoysia. Have tried wetting agents + aerating but not helping. Any other solutions?
Ever gonna put some irrigation on the front yard?
Eventually, yep
where can i get a digital accu gauge
what brand/model of edger do you use?
Just visited my local stihl shop yesterday and saw that stihl have now made a battery scarifier, any plans for a review on one or comparison test on battery scarifiers?
Did a review a few weeks back ruclips.net/video/2OWHaE7D9xE/видео.htmlsi=pIpn4gc00GAe3f9F
Did you put the liquid out the same day as the mow? Is this ok to do?
Yeah was 10 minutes after mowing actually. Definitely safe
