I'm hoping they bring back the detailed software selection and security settings in the new installer. I love being able to customize the software before a new install.
I don't see the reason changing the installer. I watched parts of the Chris Titus OpenSuse setup and he concluded that is one of the best installer he ever seen in Linux environment.This new one is limited like a Windows 11 installer. Is still alpha, but looks disappointed to me, at least.
I agree with Chris on this. Not at first, but after having used yast installer for several years now I miss it when it's not there. The plus side of agama is after reading and studying the github discussions most of what yast is able to do they want agama to do as well. It is technically still in development (but I guess that's true for everything lol)

Same. It's so limiting it's frustrating. It's a great start to something that could be great, it just isn't there yet
