Met Ronnie, Barney, John, Eamonn and Seán once in Person for Some minutes Backstage, That was unforgettable for me. What an honour that was. I Loved and I still Love the Dubs. Irish Folk is my Music. Erin Go Bragh

Gerry Ryan questioning The Dubliners about singing IRA music. He is now exposed as a drug user. And him had fooled his radio listeners for years. So don't try and bring Irelands most famous band down for singing the truth.
Whatever Gerry Ryan did in his personal life has nothing to do with the insensitivity of singing humorous IRA songs during the height of The Troubles. If you had gotten past your blind Gerry Ryan hatred you'd have noticed that Ronnie agreed with him.
@@colkurtz8 The Troubles were all the UK's doing and the Dubliners had every right to sing songs about that fact. Bloody Sunday, Plantation of Ulster, Potato Famine (we should really was "genocide")... Or does history not matter to you?
@@randomserb761 Well, we can debate the usefulness (or not) of singing humorous IRA songs at that time...but that wasn't the main point of my comment. I was wondering what asking that question had to do with Gerry Ryan's personal life. I thought it was a fair question for him to ask and Ronny seemed to think so too.
In reference to Ciaran, we (Irish) respect our own as much in death as we do in life. The public interest in Luke's untimely demise was orchestrated by the ENGLISH media and the fact the band had become more of a household name in ENGLAND by that time.

How can this asshole "interviewer" even try to ever fall into Ronnie's words or try to put something into his mouth...
All respect to the other Dubliners, but Luke's death just killed me :(

RIP; Ronnie !!!
Is Bono talking about the Wolfe tones
Yep. Ronnie hated those idiots.
@@justmyster1976 what’s the story behind that?
❤
I really wish coked up Ryan would've shut up and let Ronnie finish speaking.
What are you on about? He does give him room to speak and let's him finish. From reading the comments here you'd think he was bloody Jimmy Kimmel!
That is the late Ronnie Drew, bald because of his cancer treatment, he lost his fine beard and finally his life to the disease
rip luke kelly you were brill man
Istenem, milyen fiatalok voltak.
Dia dhuit! I'd like to know - is Bono traitor for the Irish People?
Is fealltoir e Bono.
A great mimic is Bono
trademark irish tale mimic, like Aiden Quinn's role of Harry in 1993's 'michael collins'
Bono is a clown
I can't stand Bono lol!😉😊😁
Bono the anti Irish basterd him and his NGO pal George soros.
To be fair though, he does a great Ronnie impression.
