ET 602 flight from Addis Ababa to Dubai for almost 4 hours.
I had about 3 hours to connect in Addis Ababa. The airport seem to be busy with many morning departures of mostly Ethiopian Airlines. Supposedly flying on their dreamliner but since the flight was full, they changed it to a bigger aircraft. Ethiopian Airlines are really a growing airline and is the most profitable airline in Africa. It is a Star Alliance member, that's one reason I opt to fly ET to Dubai from Bangkok.
The flight was uneventful and it was actually a smooth sailing all the way to Dubai, except for quite bumpy approach in Dubai. Cabin Crew are very professional and the meals are tasty as well. Catering in Addis Ababa can also be comparable to other well known airline caterer.
Please enjoy watching my flight video report on Ethiopian Airlines.

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day ahead.
Its a nice shoot. Apart from being harsh security which is mostly normal everywhere. Ethiopian Airlines staff are just charming
Alex Siyasiya thank u for watching. indeed they are a great airline. security in ADD is quite tough but that's better for evryone's safety.
happy New years Africa Ethiopian 2012 masha Allah. ...,,👮❤
Am always proud by Ethiopian airlines. Tnx bady
Middle eastern airlines are the best ones to travel with from Asia to Europe. Etihad is, in my opinion, the best among the big 3 :))
+Flight EYKP Perry I would love to try them. I love Etihad's livery though. Looking also forward for Etihad's new home once the midfield terminal in Abu Dhabi is operating. Thanks for watching.
ENJOYING EVERY MOMENT OF MINE BECAUSE I 'AM AN ETHIOPIAN
glad you liked it! thanks for watching.
It feel like I was there I loved it this video thanks so much for every detail your traveling adventure good job I did subscribe and I will follow you on Facebook thanks again🇪🇹😀👍
Vegan now Vegan guy wow thanks for watching and subscribing too. more videos coming this month
Oh my goodness! I am so relieved that you did this a while ago and on a different airplane.
NICE VIDEO KEEP IT UP ...WE WANT ALSO FLIGHT EXPERIENCES FROM KENYA AIRWAYS AND AIR MAROC
kilonzo morris thank u for watching
Very nice report , thx 4 sharing. As a Oneworld Miles member i won't be trying Ethiopian , but nice to know they are good, Oneworld still lacks an african partner airline, pity.
Surprised it has food!
Factual and informative
You take off subtitles too quickly.. please leave some time to read them ..
apologies on that :) Have already tried to increase the seconds on my newer vids :) Thanks for watching.
Glad I found your channel!! We do the same thing!! I actually flew the return of this flight last month, then vlogged the 2nd sector down to JNB on the 777. Andy :)
12:57 UAE is a country, not a city. Anyway, had fun watching your video! I just recently flew Ethiopian Airlines from Hong Kong to Tokyo! It was on a Boeing 787 and the seats were so cramped..
7:22 Hargeisa Somaliland my home town thanks
Ethiopia has some of the best Airlines in Africa, and the food is great. a two hour flight, they offer me and full meal course.
yes it is! one of the best in the region. thanks for watching.
Where will you go after Dubai and what airlines will you fly
+Aran Miguel Villanueva it's a fly back home to Manila. watch out for it :) thanks for watching.
Dubai airport is humangous and out of this world. haha. Its a wonderful. Aside from an underground train they even have a huge artificial waterfalls and that is on the Emirates side of the concourse. U shud try Emirates so u can witness the waterfalls. Its amazing. The airport is like a huge shopping mall. :)
true so big. the T3 looks so refreshing
+Owen Nolasco (Owen's Travel Adventure) Agree with you. Emirates have ther 1st class and Business class lounges seperated in 2 floors. The 2 classes occupy the entire length of the building. Bongga talaga ang airport nila. :-)
Amazing flight Sir.
Yes me too i would prefer headset as well. haha.
Ethiopia's scenery is nice but its kinda bit dry although its not a desert country.
+Zahid Shafi i liked the approach in Addis Ababa, it looks like a new world for me. not tropical nor a metropolitan. thanks for watching always on my video. appreciate it.
Spectacular view. I enjoyed it. I have been to Africa before and that was in Egypt. But it is so deserty. haha. Although Egypt is part of Africa but i dont feel the African heritage. Egypt's atmosphere and the surroundings is very similar to that of the Middle East. So i hope to travel to other African countries and Ethiopia is one of them.
You're always welcome Sir. :-)
Great experience!
Nice video mate! It's a common scenario in Terminal 1 especially at times of peak hours. Last time I flew to Dubai, it took us 2 hours just to clear immigration! Phew. Btw, how did you find Dubai? That's my second home! :D
I guess they have to level up the service in addis airport. security are so tough which they lack "service". I love Dubai and missed it much. I enjoy spending time in the beach and safari :)
Hi was this the very last seat 52L where it is just 2 seats?
Ethiopian is really a nice airline. Imo i think ethiopian is on par with all the other world major airlines. Do you also happen to like their boarding instrumental music?
that's true. Ethiopian is really becoming a competitive airline. thanks for watching.
1:34 - "Selamta" magazine.. Interestingly,, isn't the word for "Thank you" in Filipino "Selamat"?..Continents apart, both probably derive from Arabic/Semitic language roots: "Salam"
sounds the same right? we say it "salamat" thanks for watching
+WhoAviation Amharic, which is the national language in Ethiopia, is part of the "Semitic language group". Selam is the informal way of greeting someone in Ethiopia. Selamta can roughly be translated to "Welcome".
Ethiopian lanugage existed way before arabic language. It's vice versa. Arabic langugage is mostly words taken from Ethiopia and Africa. Middle east belonged and was controlled by Ethiopia/cushites before. Nimrod was the first Cushite king. And the first King of the whole world in Babel (modern day Iraq).
Just not sure about the in-flight catering..😶
hehehe. the food doesn't look appetizing but it was edible and okay :) thanks for watching :)
Yeah. Ethiopian Airlines is one of the most respected carriers in Africa so they must upgrade its airport. They already have so many planes in their fleet. So its about time that shud built a big airport.
They are expanding the airport right now. It will be done in 2018.
+Nathan Ayele true. i see they are making 2 to 3 rooms for jet bridges.
+Zahid Shafi As mentioned, their expanding the airport in Bole. This will tripple the passanger capacity which currently is 7 million. They're also looking for a location just out of Addis where they will build an "airport city" with one of the biggest, if not the biggest, airport in Africa, planned to take 100 million passengers a year.
Why didn't you take Emirates? And would you want to? Also love this video and all of your travel videos. :)
thanks for watching. i wud love to try EK in the future. I flew with Ethiopian for mileage run on my Krisfyler account (star alliance)
+Owen Nolasco (Owen's Travel Adventure) Thank you for the reply
Worst airline management. Hard landing on an Ethiopian 787 from Bamako, parked 300 meters away from the terminal, waited for the bus under the cold night. Second time in a year to be delayed from Addis to Bangkok for more than 7 hours, the last time was 48 hrs. They offered a hotel but did not happen, and cannot assure us of next flight. And worst, insufficient and temporary makeshift toilets at the hallways. No compensation and managers went home at midnight and no one was in charge.
oh sorry to hear that. i can truly say that the temporary toilets are quite a downside.
Hi was that economy or business class
it's an economy class.
hello nice video , just wanted to ask you which camera do you use please?
i just used my mobile phone (Sony Z Series). quite old but it works for me :) thanks for watching.

Nice video
thank you for watching. :) cheers!
What's the name of the Korean movie you were watching?
wonderful nightmare :)
What’s the baggage allowance
it was 25 kg as far as I remember. But you may want to check the airline's website directly for the most accurate baggage allowance. thanks for watching :)
What airlines
at 04 : 38 crashed aircraft ???
looks like and was an old aircraft
+Owen Nolasco (Owen's Travel Adventure) 👍👍
What airlines will you fly
:) Turkish
Turkish airlines to manila
no matter how good an airline is once i see plastic cutlery like those on UA...PAL...i tend to not want to fly them becos most airlines in asia like korean air...asiana...singapore airlines ...thai all serve with metal fork and spoon...exception surprisingly cathay also serves plastic in economy. it feels cheap...as mentioned before i admire your guts for flying these airlines. no offence to any race as in your air India 787 video imagine a new plane that is filthy plus passengers standing up whilst plane is taxiing is unacceptable. it compromises safety of all passengers. i know if these passengers were on UA the attendants would have told them off...if not i would and i have done so before...i won't accept even if it is a cheap flight.
yep it's nice video and very clear recorded but saying immigration is very slow in dubai it's due to massive traffic and arriving passengers from all over the world. please consider the human factors and how much stress those officers facing during their duty times
i understand that but it was not a peak time and we were in Terminal 1 not emirates terminal. i noticed them just chatting and checking their phones. also asked my friends and they say it is quite common in DXB. I believe they can relax too but once their job is done. DXB is one of the bussiest and officers must consider that. just my opinion. thanks for watching :)
you are not yet there. No, No No . No plastic cutlery even on vattle ( moo) class Please complain I am human i need reasonable ,edible food and LEGROOM

+Veloster 1337 that's true. I actually admire airlines using proper cutlery. But I guess mate, the trend is changing. For example, most airlines including SQ & Turkish offers earplugs instead of headset. Cost cutting maybe? Thanks for dropping by!
