  • Hi loves!
This is the positive yet emotional story of my first birth! I experienced PPROM (preterm premature rupture of membranes) at 34w6d and it left me feeling pretty confused, but overall it was a beautiful experience. I've learned lessons and gained insight from my experience and hope to help those who are curious to learn more about the topic.
My heart goes out to all mamas and birthing people who have experienced PPROM at any time in their pregnancies. You are so, so strong.
Disclaimer: I touched on PPROM, my long hospital stay, the NICU, and a small bit on pitocin/epidural side effects.

Wow.. This video is so touching. Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience so honestly. I am very sorry to hear that you were left alone right after giving birth. It must have been so hard. Nonetheless, I am glad to hear you are processing it and learning from it. Sometimes women can still have trauma around giving birth and not be sure why that it. You have all the tools and strenght to work on it. I wish you the best for your second birth experience. For another empowering birth and healthy baby! Lots of love all the way from Copenaghen! Love how she gives you a pen and paper instead of having you download an app lol

I also thought I was peeing myself and it was confirmed pprom at 24 weeks. I’m now 31 weeks and been told he can come any time (hopefully he doesn’t come any time soon). The treatment of pregnancy is so different once you’ve suffered with pprom im never away from the hospital xx

Were you still leaking during that two weeks before she came out?
