My baby was born at 7 1/2 months was 2 lbs 11 oz. She is going to 32 this December💪💪 l had high risk pregnancy’s so my situation is nothing like our Hollie’s. She amazes me daily. 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️
Hollie I can hear the fear in your voice. As a Mom of five I can tell you that they wouldn't have let you go home if it wasn't safe for you and the baby. Do as little as possible ask others to help you out (they won't mind at all). I will be praying for you all. Try not to worry, distract yourself with happy movies, music, books and happy positive thoughts etc. Take care and rest up.🌻
With my first baby i went for a routine check up. I was having back pain on only one side all day before going in. I was so young I didnt even realize i was in labor! I never even told my doctor before he examined me about the back pain. When he checked me he asked wasn’t i in any pain? I said a little back pain. He said well youre tough because you are dilated to 7! Lol. He was born an hour and half later! Being young and naive was a blessing! Praying every day for you, Drew and your son ❤️
I had a friend who had preterm labor as well. Her doctor told her to increase her protein and to stay as hydrated as you can. Her son was born at 39 weeks. May God continue to bless you and baby boy. Love from Colorado M

You can never be too early to pack for baby or get things done around the house for the newcomer!! Being prepared is a plus and less worry for everyone. My great neice was born too early and had to fly my niece to Seattle to deliver , she was so tiny weight was 2 lbs 8 ozs. She came home at 4 lbs 5 oz. She is 20 years old now and our true miracle. Find peace in God as you know how these little souls are in His care. 🙏I was a wreck during the first preemie experience but it all worked out just fine. You will do great whenever its his ti e to come. ❤💜💙Family of three will be so exciting. 🍼👶I now have 3 nieces, 5 nephews, 4 great nieces 20,19,6,4!!3 great nephews, 18,1,&1!! 1 great great niece 3yrs. !! One nephew is a Pediatrician in Portland,OR. I'm so proud of them all.

So sorry for such a scare. Especially ially with your first baby. I went into preterm with my 3rd baby. My doctor told me that if she wad born now , she had less than a 50 % chance to survive. My husband worked in a another state and couldn't get home for at least day. Thankful to our lord that he got me and our baby girl to 38 weeks.

I had a similar experience with my first born daughter. Today, she is in graduate school! And I’m a Mimi now! Praise God for those little bumps in the road that leads us to the wonderful things we share today. Always let Jesus take that wheel. Im currently 28 weeks pregnant. Last week I was hospitalized the entire week because of preterm labor. They let me go home to be on super light duty and just mainly rest. It’s so scary & I totally am like you in which I like to be in control of everything & be overall prepared.. but it’s like you said, you might as well throw that out when you’re pregnant. 🥺 Wishing you a safe and healthy rest of your pregnancy 🩷 New subscriber 🩷
Tips to stop or prevent preterm labor: 1) Drink lots and lots and lots of water. Dehydration is one of the most common reasons a woman gets thrown into preterm labor. 2) If you feel contractions coming on, fill up your bathtub with warm water and add 2 cups of Epsom salt. Soak in the tub for at least 10 to 15 minutes. 20 minutes if you can take it. Epson salt is a source of magnesium sulfate. It gets absorbed very quickly through your skin. It can stop contractions really quickly because it relaxes muscles. It helped me every time. 3) Ask your doctor or Midwife about going on a magnesium supplement. A liquid magnesium would absorb the quickest and I found the easiest to take.
What kind of magnesium did she get put on? There are different magnesiums. I’m wanting to take one that will calm my nerves like hers did. Do you know?
Thank you for sharing with us, whew, I'm so happy y'all are safe/healthy and at home, amen! I had pre-term labor with all 4 of my girls, and they all were delivered at 37-38 weeks, & perfectly fine. 2 were August deliveries. Try and stay out of the heat and stay hydrated and rest (I know, easier said than done) ...that's what I was told. You and baby boy are going to be just fine. Love ya, friend, keep us posted. I had a very similar experience with my son only mine was at 24 wks. I was in the hospital overnight and on bed rest for a week. They were able to slow down mine with meds until he was born at 37 weeks. It’s scary, I know and I pray you and your baby will both be fine.

I know once you posted so many prayers were said for you baby Drew and your family I knew deep down God would hear all those prayers and all would be well! Holly my son was a week overdue. He was born April 4th. We were hoping for an April Fools baby but he came later. Having the first baby can be very scary. Because you have never been through any of that before. And you are growing a lovely baby inside you. I am so glad you and the little one are back home and things are ok. Dont worry about the videos. We have loved and watched you all this time. We are not going anywhere, we will be here whenever you get back to your routine, or get your new one down. Everything will be changing once you bring the new baby home. Don’t worry about anything here. Just concentrate on growing that baby and taking good care of both of you. We will be here. God Bless.
I went into labor at 6 months with my last 2 pregnancies. And throw in a kidney stone with the last one too. 3 months of bed rest. My daughter held on til 36 weeks and my son until 37, both perfectly healthy! God has got your precious son and I’m sure all will be perfect💕( mine were 30 years ago!)
Wow….isn’t conception and birth a miracle. We are so lucky today with all the medical intervention we have. Imagine our pioneer foremothers🙀. They were some tough woman 💪🏻

Prayers for you & your dear baby! I do suggest that you be prepared for back labor, since that’s how you felt the contractions. All 3 of my labors were that way- pain ALL in my back & only tightening feeling in my tummy. ❤ praying your sweet boy stays in as long as possible & you stay calm.

One thing I have heard about during pregnancy that it’s a good idea to lay off the caffeine. I have even heard that it can cause premature labor. My daughter is pregnant with her first baby which is a boy and due on August 29. Right now she’s having a lot of pain in her back and gets very tired easily. I think she’s ready to deliver him now but she knows we need to keep him in there a little bit longer. I hope the same goes for you.

My sister went into preterm labor at 19 weeks & spent 10 weeks in the hospital. Not even allowed to get up for any reason. She delivered triplets at 29 weeks gestation. They just turned 20 years old this year. I pray you & baby boy continue to do well. So glad your labor has subsided. God is Good. 🙌🏻❤️
My first baby I had preterm labor at 28 weeks. I was on bed rest 100% for 2 weeks. Went back to my office job for 2 hrs and had cramping again. Went to the hospital again and was impatient for 3 weeks and 6 ultrasounds and 3 amniocentesis. Gave birth at 32 wks and 4 days to a beautiful baby boy.
You look so wonderful. I just need to know God has everything in his hands, and trust in him. Hopefully that will help you calm down. This is one of the best times of your life. Just enjoy it. I'm 60, but I can remember both of my girls as if it was yesterday.

I went into Preterm Labor at 33 weeks with my second. Admitted into the hospital at 3 cm. Was given magnesium sulfate (awful!) for 48 hours and given 2 steroid shots for his lungs. I was never on bedrest and was able to keep him in me for 3 weeks after hospitalization. The magnesium made me feel like a zombie and I have no memory of the hospital stay or the time before birth. But he was a healthy baby born at 36 weeks and his lungs were strong! And I finally felt better as if the magnesium left my body too.
Just watched your video so glad to see you home little man still inside please just rest even my husband ask me if l heard anything about you he knows how much l like you l understand your back pain l had back surgery they pain was insane so yoursvis so difficult but pain is pain be well.

I take potassium (just OTC for Charlie Horses I sometimes get during the night) so maybe it had something to do with baby labor cramps?? I'm no doctor. 😊I've had babies and kidney stones and actually the back pain does seem similar in hindsight. Thank you for taking the time to update. So happy that little guy is perfect.
It "tickled" me to hear you say that you were continuing to pack your bags....added things, etc. BEFORE going to the hospital! Some of "US" are just organized people! LOL! Everyone has a different experience! But, back labor hurts! You are very lucky to have the support of your "moms"! Having your first baby is exciting and scary at the same time! Im currently 28 weeks pregnant.
Last week I was hospitalized the entire week because of preterm labor.
They let me go home to be on super light duty and just mainly rest.
It’s so scary & I totally am like you in which I like to be in control of everything & be overall prepared.. but it’s like you said, you might as well throw that out when you’re pregnant. 🥺

Tips to stop or prevent preterm labor:
1) Drink lots and lots and lots of water. Dehydration is one of the most common reasons a woman gets thrown into preterm labor.
2) If you feel contractions coming on, fill up your bathtub with warm water and add 2 cups of Epsom salt. Soak in the tub for at least 10 to 15 minutes. 20 minutes if you can take it. Epson salt is a source of magnesium sulfate. It gets absorbed very quickly through your skin. It can stop contractions really quickly because it relaxes muscles. It helped me every time.
3) Ask your doctor or Midwife about going on a magnesium supplement. A liquid magnesium would absorb the quickest and I found the easiest to take.
What kind of magnesium did she get put on? There are different magnesiums. I’m wanting to take one that will calm my nerves like hers did. Do you know?
Thank you for sharing with us, whew, I'm so happy y'all are safe/healthy and at home, amen! I had pre-term labor with all 4 of my girls, and they all were delivered at 37-38 weeks, & perfectly fine. 2 were August deliveries. Try and stay out of the heat and stay hydrated and rest (I know, easier said than done) ...that's what I was told. You and baby boy are going to be just fine. Love ya, friend, keep us posted. So act like a Queen and let them serve. Lol if u can hold on for a little longer it’s best for his lungs. They are the last to develop and that’s why my baby boy needed a little O2 for 7 days. But that was in 89 and medicine is so much better now. Y’all will be fine God has this. Love you and praying you have peace from heat on out. Look at it this way… u have more time now to plan his very first magical Christmas!! Can’t wait for that!! Praying for all the mamas with their new babies. Today is my first born baby who made me a mama at 16. He is 37 today 🎉

I had a very similar experience with my son only mine was at 24 wks. I was in the hospital overnight and on bed rest for a week. They were able to slow down mine with meds until he was born at 37 weeks. It’s scary, I know and I pray you and your baby will both be fine.

I know once you posted so many prayers were said for you baby Drew and your family I knew deep down God would hear all those prayers and all would be well! I have tears of joy knowing everything is okay and now you have to stay resting which I remember thinking how in the world is Hollie going to try and do Fall videos before baby…you will have so many beautiful Fall decorations in the years to come we just want you to take good care of yourself and baby boy and sit back and try to relax these next several weeks before baby is here !! Holly my son was a week overdue. He was born April 4th. We were hoping for an April Fools baby but he came later. Having the first baby can be very scary. Because you have never been through any of that before. And you are growing a lovely baby inside you. I am so glad you and the little one are back home and things are ok. Dont worry about the videos. We have loved and watched you all this time. We are not going anywhere, we will be here whenever you get back to your routine, or get your new one down. Everything will be changing once you bring the new baby home. Don’t worry about anything here. Just concentrate on growing that baby and taking good care of both of you. We will be here. God Bless.

I went into labor at 6 months with my last 2 pregnancies. And throw in a kidney stone with the last one too. 3 months of bed rest. My daughter held on til 36 weeks and my son until 37, both perfectly healthy! God has got your precious son and I’m sure all will be perfect💕( mine were 30 years ago!)
Wow….isn’t conception and birth a miracle. We are so lucky today with all the medical intervention we have. Imagine our pioneer foremothers🙀. They were some tough woman 💪🏻

Prayers for you & your dear baby! I do suggest that you be prepared for back labor, since that’s how you felt the contractions. All 3 of my labors were that way- pain ALL in my back & only tightening feeling in my tummy. ❤ praying your sweet boy stays in as long as possible & you stay calm.

One thing I have heard about during pregnancy that it’s a good idea to lay off the caffeine. I have even heard that it can cause premature labor. You really need to take it easy. I'm a very agitated person and it's hard to staying still, but just take care of yourself and the bb. I just had one, a girl, that's now 26 years old, and wasn't easy, but it's necessary. Soon bb boy will be in your arms. Stay positive and God bless you 🙏 ✨️ 😊

Saying prayers for you! Listen to the doctors orders! My daughter was 7 1/2 weeks early in 1991 and she is currently expecting her second baby boy in December. Like others have sharred, there is more positive news than not.

Becky's birth story was certainly unique and it was hard for her. Josh and baby leaving alone to go home was sure a shock. Glad she has recovered completely. God is good. ❤❤❤

My daughter is pregnant with her first baby which is a boy and due on August 29. Right now she’s having a lot of pain in her back and gets very tired easily. I think she’s ready to deliver him now but she knows we need to keep him in there a little bit longer. I hope the same goes for you.

My sister went into preterm labor at 19 weeks & spent 10 weeks in the hospital. Not even allowed to get up for any reason. She delivered triplets at 29 weeks gestation. They just turned 20 years old this year. I pray you & baby boy continue to do well. So glad your labor has subsided. God is Good. 🙌🏻❤️

My first baby I had preterm labor at 28 weeks. I was on bed rest 100% for 2 weeks. Went back to my office job for 2 hrs and had cramping again. Went to the hospital again and was impatient for 3 weeks and 6 ultrasounds and 3 amniocentesis. Gave birth at 32 wks and 4 days to a beautiful baby boy.
You look so wonderful. I just need to know God has everything in his hands, and trust in him. Hopefully that will help you calm down. This is one of the best times of your life. Just enjoy it. I'm 60, but I can remember both of my girls as if it was yesterday.

I went into Preterm Labor at 33 weeks with my second. Admitted into the hospital at 3 cm. Was given magnesium sulfate (awful!) for 48 hours and given 2 steroid shots for his lungs. I was never on bedrest and was able to keep him in me for 3 weeks after hospitalization. The magnesium made me feel like a zombie and I have no memory of the hospital stay or the time before birth. But he was a healthy baby born at 36 weeks and his lungs were strong! And I finally felt better as if the magnesium left my body too.
Just watched your video so glad to see you home little man still inside please just rest even my husband ask me if l heard anything about you he knows how much l like you l understand your back pain l had back surgery they pain was insane so yoursvis so difficult but pain is pain be well.

Oh my goodness, how scary. Glad to hear baby boy is hanging in there. I take potassium (just OTC for Charlie Horses I sometimes get during the night) so maybe it had something to do with baby labor cramps?? I'm no doctor. 😊I've had babies and kidney stones and actually the back pain does seem similar in hindsight. Thank you for taking the time to update. So happy that little guy is perfect.

It "tickled" me to hear you say that you were continuing to pack your bags....added things, etc. BEFORE going to the hospital! Some of "US" are just organized people! LOL! Everyone has a different experience! But, back labor hurts! You are very lucky to have the support of your "moms"! Having your first baby is exciting and scary at the same time!
