Away to do top ball joint C/V outter and intermadiate bearing, also the shaft seal on a 407 with 5 speed, just wondering if there is an o ring or gasket on the output shaft housing , where it faces against the diff? Am guessing its an O ring,,,,
The diff seal mines leaking can i just remove driveshaft and the 3 bolts that hold the seal section to the gearbox, where the 3 bolts going into the gearbox do i need to put sealant around the mating points? Thanks
Hi I'm having a problem with my peugeot 307 drivehaft it's more like this but there's a problem I guess in the bearing for driveshaft inside gearbox.... It's making bad noise when moving the wheel
Perfect discription especially the part were the drive shaft seal housing needs to be undone only when doing the clutch which I will be doing so definitely educatied me on that
Thank you very much for this. I'm changing the o-ring and you just saved me a lot of time by knowing what to unscrew and what not to. Update: I changed the o-ring connecting the shaft to the gear box, yet I had to remove the entirety of what you see here. I just couldn't pull the shaft out of the middle bearing. In order for anyone else not to struggle as I did use some WD40 to loosen the shaft from the middle support and force it out using light to not so light hammer taps while making sure you don't damage it. Eventually it has to come out. Do not forget about the small screews holding the bearing in the middle.
So funny this is a great video it help me only problem I've been running around for a day looking for an 35 socket and after all that it's a 34 lol anyway great video mate
thank you, good advice about dropping suspension arm...wish I had seen this yesterday, Berlingo now has a seized lower ball joint pinch bolt. its rust-welded its self in. I've hit so hard and not budged.

Is it the same shaft as the one for the Citroën C4?
