- Cleaning and organizing are the first steps in gaining structure and peace back in our home. My family and I needed this! It’s been a crazy few months for my family and I, we’re ungrounded, overwhelmed and struggling a bit. After I filmed this, I noticed a difference in all of us. And me too! it sounds weird but it was really refreshing and helpful that you let your emotions go on show saying how it stressed you out and some parts clearly you weren't enjoying and did the whole thing in your pyjamas instead of just a "hey this is how to declutter a house and smile and enjoy it" type video
This one thus far has been the only one I can relate to precisely because it wasn't perfect. I get sensitive too , gut issues, stress all of it, decluttering is HARD for me and I felt like you understood it is a really hard and emotionally taxing sometimes physically draining task so..yeah thankyou for this video, its partly what got me on my feet doing parts of my room with more determination

I’m in England now (I’m from Australia but living in England) so unfortunately not nearly summer 😭 very much heading into the dark cold months which with a 2 year old isn’t my favourite time of year as we love being outdoors but England rains 364 days a year 😄😄

I literally do not and have not ever owned a junk drawer lol. Like I couldn’t imagine a cluttered mess of random unneeded things in a drawer. I love minimalism and I’m so excited for how far I’ve come! Decluttering is so fun lol
We dont wear shoes in the house in Canada its not a thing. Cant imagine how much extra housework that makes. Thanks for being real our houses arent pinterest worthy in real life.

Banana never should be in a shelf or a dark place. Even less near Apples. Banana get black pretty quick. Both things separate aren't great. But together its a mess.

@@margaretmatheny Bananas and apples should not be stored together. They both produce a lot of ethylene gas which causes fruits to ripen faster. Bananas and apples will quickly go bad when stored together because of the ethylene gas they both produce. They should be stored separately to ensure they stay edible for as long as possible. And same for Kiwis.

I definitely feel overwhelmed and stressed when my apartment is messy, and also feel that huge difference when everything is clean and tidy! I'm looking forward to your huge declutter video :)
