  • Parrot chop is cut up fruits and vegetables which is given to your bird daily. For the average parrot we recommend feeding around 40% fruits/veggies/sprouts, 50% pellets, and 10% choice grade seeds and nuts.

    You're chop looks delicious! Love all of the colour! My flock are fussy and won't eat it if I freeze it as they love the crunch so I usually make a week's worth and try and use the veggies that are going in the chop in our meals too to try and reduce waste!

      Birds can be so fussy 😩😂 I’m glad you’ve found a way to give them healthy chop they way they like it.

      You can purchase sprouts at local supermarkets occasionally. Otherwise, you can grow your own by purchasing safe seeds & legumes suitable for sprouting. We have a safe sprouts list in our Facebook album "avian diet and care". We also have a video on sprouting.
