You are a great teacher, simple yet very informative...gotta try this, I just got the weber Q...Thanks please keep posting you are among the best.
Too kind. Thank you very much. Cheers!
We do pizza like this too, and I've done a few pizzas like this on the Q 1200 to show my friends why they should consider this model. Man, I love this channel!
great video. the weber corporation really needs to be aware of your channel to show how versatile the weber Q grills are
I agree.
Thanks can’t wait to try your recipe
Love your channel
Well done! Quick, easy and looks delicious. Thanks!
Glad you liked the vid. I have a more recent Weber Q pizza video as well. Definitely check it out. Cheers!
Dude, I've seriously learnt so much from your videos. Thank you and keep them coming :D.
Thanks Knightcommander. I will!
Thank god you’r back!
Tried this recipe yesterday. I was so impressed. I used a Maggie Beer recipe for homemade pizza dough. The smokey and charred flavouring was amazing. The texture was perfect! It was perfectly cooked. I don't need to buy a pizza stone because of this video. Thank you for sharing.
I'm going to try naan breads next curry night. Can't wait.
Sorry I missed this comment. No need for a pizza stone. But I still want one... Lol!
Thanks for sharing video.
Using olive oil on the side down and pre-cooking the vegetables were great tips that I will be sure to try.
Btw, Weber sells a pizza stone. I was impressed that cooking the pizza on the grill worked so well.
Ordered a Q1200 a few days ago and have been watching your channel as long. Can't wait to try some of the recipes when it shows up. Thanks!
Right on Jim! I've got some new vids in the works. Enjoy your new Q!
Thanks for this great recipe!
Great editing. Great cooking. Well done mate.
Great video. So cool how you grill. Nice setup. I love my Webber grill. Best one I’ve ever had. Just made a new stand for it last week.
Thanks Randy. I love grilled pizza. It's always fun and always comes out great. Enjoy your new stand. Cheers!
G'day there Fire Escape Griller. Just wanted to say a quick 'thanks' for your excellent videos. Xmas day today, and I cooked a whole chicken on the Weber using your technique to great acclaim. For a relaxed Xmas dinner, we then tried your 'grilled pizza' method and it worked a treat - way better than a bought one! - Anyhow, happy days, and thanks once again.
You're very welcome. Thank you for watching, Roger! Slowed down a bit lately, but more vids on the way.
Very nice! I will definitely try this...
Great channel!!
Just found you recently after purchasing a Weber Q. Thank you! Will now do pizza!!
Thank you, Wylie! Let me know how your pizza turns out.
Looks so good 🙌 I will try this out
Thank you htowngurl17. Pizza is always fun to make too.
Nice job. I liked the simplicity of your sauce and using pre-made pizza dough.
I've had good luck with the pre-made dough from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Publix (all here in the U.S.) Here in New York, you can usually also buy it from most pizza joints. Saves you a big step.
Those pizzas look simply amazing! I’m certainly going to try it on my Weber Q. Thanks
Thanks, Nana. I've never tried a pizza stone so I'm not sure if it comes out any better, but this technique of grilling one side first before saucing it works really well. Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
Thanks for the video. Doesn’t look hard to do at all. I love my pizza with jalapeños.😋
It's easy and great! Definitely give grilled pizza a try.
Excellent video brief but informative
Thanks for the video really helpful to see that pizza can be done without a pizza stone
Yes indeed. And it comes out great! Thanks for watching Michael.
Those are good looking pizzas.... they look delicious.... nice job
Thank you! They really were great.
i made this the other day, i thought for sure the pizza crust would burn on the grill but nope! it was as easy as your video made it out to be
I came up with the idea of cooking one side first about 10 years ago. Well, someone else also probably also came up with it, but it works like a charm. Cheers Jeremy.
Finally tried out my new Q1200 grilling hot dogs and they came out good. Doing your pepperoni pizza recipe tomorrow! Can't wait!!
Nice! I'm actually working on another pizza video. Been practicing the last few days. Should be out within the next week.
I love your channel!! Please keep making Weber Q videos, il be upset if you change it up too much ;)
Looked DELICIOUS !!!
Man that looks good I got to try it 👌
You should definitely try this. Just grill one side of the dough first. Perfect every time.
I did the grilled pizza on the Q1200 using your method and its the only way ill do it from now on!!! Was just a pepperoni pizza but it was good!!!
Another pizza video in the works. Stay tuned.
ok i"m ready!!!
Go for it. You will love it!
Nice . Good idea ! Need to try it , you can make thin bread without topping like Kaukasus bread too !
I'm not sure I've ever tasted Kaukasus bread, but now that I've looked it up... looks delicious. Thanks for the idea, Eduard.
Just picked the same grill up. Great skx btw!!
You're going to love the Q1200. It's a great little portable grill. Glad you noticed the SKX. Wearing it today in fact.
I agree, why are they not sponsoring you! Awesome money saving ideas. Even beter the nice cooking ideas presented! Love your channel! #NewWeberUser #Stoked #GrillingisFUN
Thank you, Tobias. More vids on the way!
Great video. For a pizza with a thinner base (we like ours thin and crispy), would you reduce the cooking time?
Yes, I believe you'd have to reduce cooking time. You might want to get the pizza stone for extra thin crust.
nice job!!!
Thanks al! This is a great way to make pizza on any grill. Cheers!
amazing👌🏼
Thanks vales74. Cheers!
Bro so I got the song deflector plate off my kamado cleaned it up and used the q to fire up some red barron pizza. Couldn't be happier with my choice of q. It came out killer
Smart! Even a man with a kamado appreciates the Q. Cheers Juan!
I have a Q2200. Didn’t even think you could just stick it right on the grill. I use a pizza stone
nice job
Trying this on my q1200 tomorrow for first time!
How'd your pizza come out? I already know... amazing!
Looks great Fire Escape Griller!! I'm going to try on the Family Q. Quick question, as you aren't using the stone, what heat setting have you got your Q on for this?
Phil Milburn I grilled mine on Medium heat. Definitely preheat though. These Weber Qs take at least 10 minutes to preheat. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the advice, they came out great (though my pizza dough recipe needs some attention).
Keep up the good work FEG.
Thanks Phil! Trying to post a new vid every Thursday. Keep watching for more ideas.
Great pizza❤
the veggie one looked good
Loved the veggie one myself. My kids though are into pepperoni. Thanks for watching, WD.
God they look GOOD!
These were great! Fun to make too.
What temperature you use on the first 2 minuets to grill the dough
Preheat the grill for about 10 minutes on Medium heat. Grill one side of the dough for about 4 minutes before adding ingredients.
Fire Escape Griller
Do you leave in on medium the entire time?
Hi mate, I really love you channel and your videos (thanks to your advices I just bought a brand new Weber Q3200)....I'm Italian and sorry...but this is not pizza!
You have to cook it on a pizza stone in order to have a good result, preheating the stone! Anyway...keep on grilling and thanks for sharing... Ciao !!!!
Thanks for watching Felice. Give this recipe a shot and let me know what you think.
You should have left it on each side a little longer....either way nice job....as long as your family enjoys and appreciates your efforts👍🏽
I agree. I'm thinking 5 minutes per side these days.
just so I understand, you cook the vegetables and tomato sauce because the cook time is so short? or it can be done either way?
Cook the veg and heat up the sauce first. The heat on the Q comes from the bottom, so if you're not using a pizza stone, the bottom of the pizza will burn before the top is cooked.
@@GallaghersGrub yeah that's what happened to me... Do you know of a pizza stone that fits the q1200?
Do you make the dough ? or buy it ?
I picked this dough up at Whole Foods. I've also bought dough at Trader Joes and Publix. Sometimes it's frozen. But it's usually pretty good.
very clever, no need for a pizza stone
A pizza stone would be cool, but grilling one side of the dough first has always worked just fine for me. Thanks for watching, Susan.
Normally use a pizza stone. Will try it this way....
Just cook one side of the dough first and put your cooked ingredients on the cooked side of the dough. It's awesome!
I find pizza stones very tricky to use on the q .I might try this method
Make sure you grill the side of the dough that you're going to sauce before you sauce it. Let me know how it turns out. Thanks for watching!
Fire Escape Griller thanks will do cheers
Fire Escape Griller love this method .I'm using a q 305 and turned the burners to low.the pizza turned out amazing .
That's great! No pizza stone needed.
Fire Escape Griller yes saved me alot of time not having to preheat the stone😀
You got a video on BBQ chicken wings on the q 1200
I have at least 5 wings on the Weber Q videos. Buffalo, Jamaican Jerk, and Asian style. They're all really good recipes. Cheers Richard!
This is not a pizza.. But it looks goooood!
Yessir! These were very tasty. Cheers Paolo!
I love how literally everything takes four minutes per side on the Weber Q
Ha! I made burgers last night. Four minutes per side. Cheers man!
It’s funny how Americans call pizzas pies. A pie is a very different thing to Australians or British.
Different parts of the world, I guess. Thanks for watching in Oz. Cheers MaZEEZaM!
What temp you set the q too
Medium to Medium-High
I made this today together with my wife. Self made dough and the veggies prepared like in the video. It was awesome and i regret not trying your method earlier. Thanks for sharing this idea. The cheese didnt brown as good as yours did but any longer and the bottom would blacken. Maybe i'll try it with the roasting rack in the second round.
Great Videos, keep up the good work. I want to do your chicken wings next.
I recommend my Honey Garlic Lemon Buffalo Wings recipe. You will love it. I also have another Grilled Pizza recipe from about a year ago. It improves on the previous version a bit I think. Cheers!
Least you could’ve done is clean the bloody grill before you cooked on it
Weird Pizza! Why did you cook your vegetables before grilling? And you don’t take any spices?
Because the heat source comes from the bottom, you have to used cooked vegetables or they won't get cooked.
You call that a pizza? Wow, Americans!
NYC has the most pizza places and the best pizza in the world. I think I know pizza.
@@GallaghersGrub The best pizza in the world is definately not in America. You have just proved that you know little about pizza.
@@acptelford1307Lol!
Lost me when you cooked all the shit on a stove in a Weber video
I love your videos but every time someone calls that thing pizza a child dies
pesso77 what a stupid comment .
