Both had great value and ideas. Both stores are less expensive then lots of stores that sell the same kinds of items.I shop both places for camping in my car or my ambulance rv rug.
It’s a tie, you both found amazing things for your RV. Harbor Freight does a great job of covering mostly the outside, with some exceptions and IKEA has amazing products for inside and out, but primarily inside. And yes, the tools are better at HF, than at IKEA, however, if you’re in a pinch, they’ll make do, probably at a very reasonable price! You’re both winners 🏅🏆
I love IKEA for storage but storing food in plastic is a no for me. For that reason I’m gonna go with Harbor Freight. Both of you had great ideas though. 😊

Then we wait for delivery to the dealer and then prep for us to come get it. If all goes well (and we ain’t banking on that), we’ll probably be picking it up in the first half of October. This is painful! I could spend so much in either/both places, you guys did great! I sent a link to my husband to see who he thinks wins. I truly think it is a draw, and I am not just trying to being diplomatic. I am a tool guy so I loved all the tools. I should buy all the ones that I don't have that Troy mentioned, but Linda's buys were so many and made great sense. I will let you know what my husband says. Although, IKEA offers 'helpful convenience products', Harbor Freight offers more practical time , energy and money saving devices. I have to vote for Troy.
Not related, but maybe some incite to future Geo Pro or other RV brands. When buying our 2020 Geo Pro, we got hooked in by it having many extras that we had not looked into. A griddle and table. Tire pressure monitor (we already had purchased this). 2 Batteries, 2 propane tanks. All these we enjoy. And also, the WiFi Ranger. And I knew of this product, but only for future needs. And it is the Sky 4 system. And we were told you could add a SIM card. (Hold on to this thought). So we have only used this twice as only one RV park had WiFi. So, me thinking, hey, let's get a SIM card so we can make more use of it. Not so fast, re member being told "you can add a SIM card. Well wouldn't you know it, the Sky 4 installed does not have the part needed. That item will cost you $200.00 + the additional cost of the SIM card and service. So again, Sky 4 was not on our LIST but we welcomed the addition. Just a little miss leading from the over all purchase.
These campers do have a lot of extra features that many do not (as you listed). We did the same on the SIM card - having to buy the extra, we decided to hold off. If we were full time or even mostly full time would likely look into it. Good points! Thanks for watching!
ok we have a tiny camper, and while all your items u bought, where do u use them..how do u take a big space or tiny space and make it more functional? so hands down i loved many of the items Harbor Freight best. esp the tire changer, and the water filler.
Hi - first - thank you for watching - appreciate! So, we do use all the items at varying times and you are correct - finding space in a small camper is challenging! We find staying in the camper for a while gives us a good feel for what is working storage wise or what isn't. For example, right now, we still have issues with where to hang coats, put shoes that are easily grabbed and our bottled water. Then I set about making a plan lol. Sometimes a product can solve my issues - for example the footstools that we made (or the collapsible footstools off Amazon are very popular) store alot of stuff! But we also find that most manufacturers leave a ton of space that is unused and can be turned into storage space. We did one video where we just took down some panels in cabinets, looked behind things... and there were quite a few void spaces that we still have on our list to take advantage of! And lastly - RUclips videos of other Rv'ers lol. We have watched a ton to get ideas and then tweak them to our needs. Hope some of that helps and again - thank you for being a viewer!

I’m not going to lie, we spend a lot of time at Harbor Freight! We did just go to IKEA and we picked up a few items. After watching your video I wish I had picked up some more; however, the closest IKEA is 4 hrs away and the closest Harbor Freight is 15 mins away. So I would vote Troy. We just bought cutting boards and a bottle opener at Harbor Freight and are always finding something new we need.

Oof, that's a tough one. It's a running joke in my family that I shouldn't be allowed to go to the "man store" unsupervised because I buy tools like they're candy, so my gut instinct is for Harbor Freight. One just opened near me a few months ago and so far I have resisted temptation, but I think I need to go check it out now. It's your fault. :D But I also like all those household helpers that Linda found, too. I've never been to an IKEA, but now I'm wondering if there's one near me somewhere. LOL! Who won? Very good point! Actually had a friend recommend after he had an issue with his holding tank so I keep it on hand just in case. Can never be too prepared with an RV.

Very good point! Actually had a friend recommend after he had an issue with his holding tank so I keep it on hand just in case. Can never be too prepared with an RV.
