Also keep in mind DJI Avata is a cinewhoop with guards which is better for indoor & low flying & the guards aren’t meant for higher altitude flights outdoors
They both have their places . What I do with the Avata I could never do even with a Woop . But I don't see many people doing what I do with their Avata as well . I have so much control with the Avata I'm willing to go places that would almost be impossible with a standard FPV , But the FPV can make many acro shots that aren't possible with the Avata. So If you can afford both , why not get both . But every drone is best suited to the task it was built for . My Avata gets gets the most air time now days . I want to try the 03 unit . Great video and some nice flying , you have a blessed one .
The avata is in an amazing drone & it’s what got me into fpv, the RTH & hover modes are features that make me feel better when flying. I use the avata for indoor shots mostly. Thanks for stopping by & you have a great day
To understand this better I started flying FPV in 2008 and worked with DJI R&D directly. The Avata is a cinewhoop it is meant for low flying and indoor flying, The guards are not ideal for outdoor high flying because of wind. The 5 inch quad is ideal for outdoor flying. The principles and learning how to fly fpv will translate into both craft but they are designed for different tasks. You could safely fly the avata through a restaurant for shots but the 5 inch would be far more dangerous.
I have just started manual with Avata and now just received my Geprc cinelog35 v2 with o3 air unit. All set up now on betaflight but rain stops the first flight. I am intrigued to see how it flies differently to the Avata. Good vid thanks. 👏
@@DroneFate I was flying manual with the Avata to begin with but have reverted back to normal mode as I'm doing more close proximity flying of late and it's much easier.
I’ve been flying Avata in N mode because I love the precision with it but curious if there’s any fpv drones out that’s made for crashing but much much smaller so I can practice manual mode at home, while using all the Avata rc and goggles?
What about Betafpv Pavo Pico with o3 unit? It's hard to build smaller, because the DJI VTx unit is heavy, in comparison to classic analog. You will probably need a new controller though. Go for any ExpressLRS. And even in Angle mode it may be quite hard for the first time, because you won't get the DJI safety things. (If DJI Avata has some, dunno having a mini 4 pro) For indoor flying, I'm using Mobula 6 on analog.

It feels more free & fun esp when it comes to flips, rolls & those sharp turns. Let me know how you first flight goes with the cinelog
Great vid Farhaan, I've got the Avata and DJI fpv soy next step is a 'true' fpv drone, I'll definitely check out the Gep RC
Thank you for stopping by my friend! Geprc is a good brand, feel free to msg me on X for any advice/recommendations. Are you flying in manual mode?

Good comaprison! -Avata user from another side of 🌎!

Normal drone can't fly home when connection is lost, you lose 500 bucks just like that.
