Loading the game onto a flash cart or something should be possible since it's intended to work on Genesis hardware, I would guess. But actually producing and selling carts would be a huge no-no considering this is a fan game and as soon as they start making a profit then it has potential for big legal issues. They even have a disclaimer right on the start up screen saying it's a fan game and not intended to be sold specifically to avoid any of those issues, possibly to try and make sure no one else tries to download the rom and sell it on a cart.
So back to square 1 again then. All that hope after MM11's Release, and after a few Legacy Collections, its back to the MegaDraught again. Either get Someone Like Mr. Famous himself, Eguchi, To Take it over or Maybe just Euthanize the Megaman Series Entirely, so we dont have to suffer anymore.

If i ever become the new Producer of the megaman Series. Megaman world 5's gonna get the MM11 Treatment, besides it would also be a perfect remake for Roll's Playable Debut, shes a Melee based charater who slides too & has a double jump & the best part, shes using the Roll armor from megaman 11.
I'm just hoping this is a repeat of Yoshinori Ono leaving Capcom and SF6 booming like crazy. There are people in those offices that are just plain tired of being tied to their IPs and hopefully they are leaving the IP in the hands of younger people who once grew up with the games and love the IPs and want to do everything with it. If I was experienced but jaded, I would not want to be responsible for the massive expectations a fanbase has to revive a series. I'd shove that work onto a more gung-ho youth who actually wants the work.
If it was on good terms, Tsuchiya would do a Yoshinori Ono (former SF6 Producer before Tsuchiya took over) and publish an actual letter to his fans to say farewell BEFORE he leaves, NOT AFTER he has left, so there.
Yeesh, the rest of these comments are so gloomy, doomy or salty. As long as someone in the company still knows and cares about Megaman, we're fine. I think what Megaman needs right now is some fresh eyes and perspective. In particular, the approach to Megaman should change to something akin to Gundam. By this I mean they have to take care of the games and lore that is already existing while moving forward with newer titles whether they be new additions to older lines or new games that start new universes/timelines. I'm not sure a lot of people will get this, but for the longest time now Megaman's been in a sort of post Universal Century situation where what's currently available is daunting to go through (due to length) and is not really resonating with newer audiences. What needs to done is to keep it fresh constantly is to draw in new blood. That means putting aside all of both timelines and putting out something new. The older titles can have updates every now and then but Megaman really needs to pump out AUs and toys (only megaman has any toy potential and they should capitalize on that as a series strength). Before any of that can happen though, Capcom has to believe in Megaman first. I think that's the issue the higher ups have with Megaman, they can't trust it to sell well but at the same time they don't support it enough (in a consistent manner) for it to sell well. Anyway, long story short, Megaman as we know it is old and it (again) needs a new AU whether that be a G Gundam, or more currently, a G-Witch to get numbers up. Side thought, what's going to happen to Rockman Taisen now?
@@MrMeowMeowSaysPurr I recommend 9 years of shadows, as a great Metroid-vania game. It even has a sound track composed by Michiru Yamane, who did nearly every Castlevania game.

I still hope we can get Mega Man 12!!
We need megaman x 9
Preferably, in the SNES style!
@@co81385 That'd be weird, because x8 left with a cliffhanger. So going with a "back to basics" theme right after would just be more frustrating.
@@co81385 fuck no! No one wants a downgrade
I just really, really like the engine of the SNES X series games! Should an X9 come one day, I hope that it feels more like the SNES X games than the post-SNES X games.
@@co81385nuh uh mm9 was bad except for splash woman
With Street Fighter 6 going to do extremely well, there’s a possibility that Rival Schools and Darkstalkers could return someday
I doubt it, bro. Those series are great, but they are never coming back.
Literally has been said over and over Darkstalkers is done. Indefinite hiatus.
Given Morrigan's Teppen persona, everyone who cared at Capcom is gone now.
i heard SF6 is woke
Sequel wars rockman 5 is gonna be called episode blue
Just you wait
Episode potato Man
wish i could be the producer of mega man
We still have masakuzi eguchi and 2 more possible collections for megaman games. Hopefully a new game in any of the franchises is coming.
Thank you Tsuchiya-san.
hopefully we get better music now, imo the current stuff sucks, the style is fine but it's not as creative as it used to be. good to hear street fighter 6 is amazing though
Capcom is having so many problems:
1 September 27th X Dive will close
2 And now this thing?
For important and determined matters the Capcom creators better get their act together and get their heads in the game and make and create Megaman X9, make it work, happen, release it, and revive the Megaman X franchise in the future or so help if they don't and just give up on the Megaman X franchise I will have to do it myself and make Megaman X9 and revive and save the Megaman X franchise when I sign up for and apply for Capcom studios in the future which I look forward to doing. I love the Megaman X franchise and Megaman X is my favorite video game hero. The Capcom creators really have to stop being lazy with the Megaman X franchise.
There is still hope!
I have to give props for Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, if it wasn't for this man, I wouldn't have an interest in VGM due to my love for the megaman series for over like 2 decades, which is ironic how its full of musical puns and ref.
With this, plus the fact that DiVE hasnt gottem a character in 2-ish months, means megaman is pretty dead for now. DiVE is probably going to shut down soon, sadly.
Who cares about that mobile game anyway? It just waifu simulator....
@@NetBattler its the most recent megaman game 💀💀💀before it was megaman 11 and before that was a drought. Its not perfect, but its decent for mobile game standarts, it even gave some older characters modern art, 3d models and voice acting. I think thats just neat.
@@heleno6917bruh, DiVE reused a lot of assets in its development, the engine and voices included. The only new voice acting we ever got was for Iris and Bass (and Bass.EXE). Pretty sure Ciel didn't get a VA even though it was promised (I might be wrong, be free to correct me). And like, one third of the characters (like Bit for example) doesn't even have the voices 💀
I understand what you mean, but a new mobile game doesn't equal a new mainline game 😅
@@jazzytunester Ciel already get voice in TW server
Are you global player or quit TW server before Ciel voice coming?
Her voice just add 1 month after bass
@@Kongjedk I left the game after Bass got the voice lol
Well, good to know it's there now.
MMBN collection sell great, but doesn't means they're going revive megaman series
And megaman collection series also almost complete too, one last megaman starforce collection and it's full set
Get over it, megaman series is already dead, nothing new coming out since megaman 11, and the leaving producer only make it worst
Pls no starforce...
Stopped caring about anything related to Crapcom that I cared about after their handling of the Darkstalkers series. If this is the end of the Blue Bomber I enjoyed the ride while it lasted.
Kazuhiro can't leave Capcom... He is the one who bring back Mega Man to spotlight! And... I want Mega Man 12 and/or Rockman Taisen announcement!
God didn’t forget MN9. Why would he reward you?
It's over Mega bros.
Anyone ese having flash backs right now?
Damn it! Not again!
I thought Megaman X9 might come after SF 6 release. But now the producer left the company. I have no hope left for X9 😭😭😭
will they be making a physical version of the sequel wars on a sega cart?
Loading the game onto a flash cart or something should be possible since it's intended to work on Genesis hardware, I would guess. But actually producing and selling carts would be a huge no-no considering this is a fan game and as soon as they start making a profit then it has potential for big legal issues. They even have a disclaimer right on the start up screen saying it's a fan game and not intended to be sold specifically to avoid any of those issues, possibly to try and make sure no one else tries to download the rom and sell it on a cart.
X9.
It's Megaman, an anniversary art does jackshit
Very nice artwork
So back to square 1 again then.
All that hope after MM11's Release, and after a few Legacy Collections, its back to the MegaDraught again.
Either get Someone Like Mr. Famous himself, Eguchi, To Take it over or Maybe just Euthanize the Megaman Series Entirely, so we dont have to suffer anymore.
Awesome! Maybe who ever is in his place will release a new god damn game
I hope Reggie fils Aime or me will be the producer of Capcom and why? Because if I was in a producer of Capcom, I will be end up making cute-wings games (feather Kingdom) for this whole franchise and be the new mascot of Capcom and that will predict in the future
Maybe you should look up what happened to Ono AFTER he left Capcom before coming back here.
(Hint: Fate Grand Order)
Hmmm
Oh shit here we go again
OH COME ON I AM SICK OF THIS FRANCHISE HAVING THERE DIEECTORS LEAVING.
hard to believe it has been like 22 or 23 years since the last acceptable mmx game, wild.
Whatever the reason for his departure I hope it was on good terms
If it was on good terms, Tsuchiya would do a Yoshinori Ono (former SF6 Producer before Tsuchiya took over) and publish an actual letter to his fans to say farewell BEFORE he leaves, NOT AFTER he has left, so there.
News did sound bad at 1st but i think we are alright
3:48 you may be right. But I don’t know.
uhm, the writer of legends you say. Hopium instensifies!
If tMasakazu Eguchi takes up the role to champion the franchise, then our chances of getting mega man legends 3 just went up.
Hopefully rockman taisen won't be cancelled only because of this
Does Mega Man ever get *good* news?
Thanks for the news
Mega man the waifu wars. 😆
And now X dive is officially shutting down please do a video about that
@8:09 that is not a ZELDA MAJORAS MASK *RIP OFF*
PLEASE don't let it be Oda. 11 was trash selling on name and price. 9 and 10 were MUCH better.
Man is been a while
The ( ? ) is a prism
Ah oh...........
OPA OPA OPA OPA OPA OPA....MEGA NEWS?....hum será que a esperança....
13:26 Wait.
I'm not ready to be a fan of two semi dead franchises (the other being StarFox).
And castlevania XD
As a policenauts fan you guys should feel grateful at least your favourite franchises got more than one game....😢
@@MrMeowMeowSaysPurr I recommend 9 years of shadows, as a great Metroid-vania game. It even has a sound track composed by Michiru Yamane, who did nearly every Castlevania game.
I recommend Ex Zodiac and Fur Squadron as Starfox successors.
Inafune please release a new mega clone so Capcom announce mm12 to stick it to you
This really sucks…..
What envy, what will the other fans of other CAPCOM games like Breath of Fire, Darkstalkers, Rival Schools and Power Stone say? This is not really a problem with Megaman, but with other CAPCOM games that the company's lack of creativity and imagination MADE IN USA, only focuses on Street Fighter and Resident Evil games, and nothing to do with Monster Hunter, Dragon Dogma and Exo Primal.
Megaman Is falling
If garbage like sonic can get games then anything is possible
Nah it's not. It just capcom heavily slept on this IP...
Megaman dead again
