    Lawd, Lawd, the talent in that class was so off the charts. I had a tear roll down my cheek seeing Derryck Thorntons name 😢😢 I love it when a team is stacked but college as of rn is not the best place for that. So many people with missed opportunities, makes me really think RJ Hamptons recent announcement is just another step in hopefully the right direction. Juggling books and ball is bs let the scholarship and walk on kids hoop for that degree, let the ballers ball. Only reason these kids go is because of the clout of the system and the "integrity" it has. More of these moves outside the NCAa will give not only the players the confidence in an alternative route, but give their families security in the thought that they will become just as good if not better. This whole thing of not letting a player be alone around grown men in an adult environment so wild, all these colleges are just a watered down version of Blue Mountain State, and that's still almost just as crazy as NBA nightlife minus the money. JC good vid again fam, had me in my feelings on this one XD.
    Keep pushing man, we love it.

    The Title is nonsense. He is nowhere near Iverson,Kyrie,Kenny Andderson,Bobby Hurley, Tyreke Evans,Kyle Lowry,ShammgodKarreem Reid, Wayne Ellington in high school. I could go on and on. This kid was old for his grade and relied on his physicality. He always played for teams that were stacked. He thought he was a professional high school player which all these kids think today. He was about 6'3 and was a combo guard that couldnt shoot a lick. Once he lost having the physicall advantage in high school he was exposed for basically not being a pg and being a sg that couldnt shoot fish in a barrel. As far as judging him in high school his teams were good because he bounced around to the teams that were the most stacked. He was a good player but never carried any of them teams by himself to any level that they shouldnt have been considering the overall talent on the teams. I saw him in person during his senior year and yes his name was big but i saw guys with smaller reps build their reps off him.I also saw him as a freshman,he was old for his grade at that point,this is where he built his rep because he was basically the same size then as he was as a senior. Was better as a freshman compared to being a senior. Kids caught up physically and passed him skill wise. The face of his high school class was Ben Simmons so the guy doing these vids is getting his info second or third hand. Why would the guy who does these vids think this guy wouldnt pick Kentucky?Everybody knew he was going there. After all throughout high school he played and transferred to teams that could get him the most exposure. Basically every player on those teams were d1 prospects.It hid his weeknesses. You can only hide them for so long.

    Wrong, wrong, wrong. Briscoe jus wasn’t good enuf. U cannot play in the league if ur 6’2 wit no athleticism and cannot shoot. Simple as that. If he could have either 1 of those 2 wit his strength an handle it would be different. Kentucky was a great choice. No matter what school he woulda went 2 those weaknesses would have been exposed. Let’s stop wit all the small talk. But I love the videos, keep up the good entertainment.

      @stuntedgrowth  5 лет назад

      Thanks for the comment. Good points. But... There's been tons of non athletic guards shorter than him that's had success in the league. Most recently. Kyle lowry. Lowry didn't develop a jump shot until well into his career. If you ask me, Briscoe has more raw talent than Lowry. I think he could've been a solid back up somewhere in the league. Very strong, great pick and roll guy and handles would be top 10 if given the opportunity. Thanks man. Appreciate ya!

    I watched every game Brisoe played at Kentucky... He was incapable of creating for himself in college because he could not shoot freethrows, or shoot in general. He would avoid contact going to the hoop and as a PG thats not something you can do... If he went anywhere where its big time college basketball this flaw was going to ruin his game. He developed into a great defender at Kentucky, and a good do it all guard... He improved his shooting, but it fell off later in his 2nd season. Briscoe can blame Kentucky all he wants but he would have had these issues anywhere he went...

      It’s more so a difference in style. East Coast basketball players have a large focus on handles and is typically more flashy while on the west coast there’s a bigger focus in shooting. Obviously there’s gonna be a mix of the styles on both coasts but on a basic level that’s the difference.

    I agree with your commentary. I'm an Orlando Magic fan and watched him play all year, he's mediocre at best. A guard that can't shoot it consistently in the NBA isn't going to cut it, unless you're Rondo playing along side 3 Hall of famers. 🤔

    • @elijahwilliams3728

      @@Mulugheta88 I’m getting at his IQ for the game from point guard position I don’t think that has shined as much to coaches that he can run that position and I’m getting at his style of play , I don’t think style of play benefited him that much in college especially at his size compared to other scoring point guards he comes up short as you said he got no jump shot and that is just absolutely unacceptable at his size and it doesn’t seem that has changed much

    He got to Kentucky and stopped playing like a guard. Got too big & couldn't shoot, wasn't the same person I saw in HS.

    Not even trying to be rude but he was terrible here at Kentucky. Didn't realize how highly touted he was in high school until reading up. Coach Cal gave him EVERY opportunity, just didn't have it...
