I built a franchise around this guy... always change his ratings to 85 - 95 overall in 2K. A dynamic 2 way guard with a raw athleticism and great passer and could shoot competively from all angels of the court. He’s a complete beast. He always had the raw edge to be a competitive player in the league.
A good way to see if a guy is going to be a good shooter in the league is to look at their FT numbers. For some reason it correlates; look at any dudes FT numbers in college and compare it to their shooting numbers in the league, they’re usually solid. Probably due to the higher number of FT attempts, take more FT than 3s.
@stuntedgrowth Great video. I had high hopes for Wroten as well. I am a Celtic fan but I like the Philly rivalry and like it when we can beat them in the playoffs. I noticed you don't have a video on Jawun Evans. I was sure that he was going to be the next CP3. He is still only 22 so I still root for him. He should be OKC's backup PG. Cam Oilver should also be on an NBA roster. That's a bonus tip
Can't shoot in this league from the guard position you ll just won't last long at all. Lack Of Fundamentals in American basketball is killing alot of careers .
This vid you sound more relaxed and chill compared to the others idk what it is but it’s a different pace for sure. Also I always did wonder what happened to him, during the trust the process era he was a good ball handler and scorer just bad shooting.
I'm a Sixers fan I think his stats were inflated because that was when we were tanking and had alot of guys who normally wouldn't be in the league on our roster outside of the sixers I doubt he would of put up similar numbers on a different roster
Exactly. He was trash from the moment he entered the league. He was only around the Sixers just so they could tank. At the PG position, this dude was the epitome of everything you don’t want in a pro-level guard
He is the 2nd player from The Process era that I miss the most. KJ McDaniels has got to be the 1st. It's a shame none of them are in the league or in the Sixers anymore. Can u imagine? Simmons, KJ, Grant, CWood, Embiid with TJ McConnell, Wroten, Jonah Bolden/RoCo, Saric and Noel. Man so much talent has passed through Philly. Brett Brown was not good man
Bias definitely showed on this video. Wroten was flashy, and can slash with the best of them, but for a PG his passing was fundamentally HORRIBLE. Always lookin for the flashy play and turning it over. In college and the league he averaged as many T.O.’s as he did assists. Defense was horrible and he couldn’t shoot. He just was athletic af.
This is a little soon but do Jay Scrubb. Juco POTY who decided not to go to college and enter the draft. Kids making a mistake and Incan see ending up on a list like this. Wroten Should have went to a school that would help improve his shooting
Everyone is your favorite player..... There are over 300 players on the NBA and only room for a handful of superstars and stars a few all stars....the rest are just role players....that's why college is important for one to get an education and make money in case it doesn't work out
He also got caught up in "The Process" agenda. For whatever reason that Philly process damaged alot of those players' reputations just as much as their certain inefficiencies did hence why most of them barely played on other teams.Philly basically treated the players like fodder for their chances to get lottery picks which is a damn shame
Dude couldn’t play at the NBA level at all. Sorry. Only reason he was drafted high is purely athleticism. Dude couldn’t shoot, defend, rebound, averaged 3 assist and 2 turnovers a game and couldn’t even hit his free throws. He was trash from jump
I would underestimate this guy so much in 2k, when it was time to play the Sixers in mycareer he would be dropping 18 to 20 on my team head with ease leaving me with a fucking D for my teammate grade lol.
Man this 1 reaaaaally hurt. He was like a baby John wall, but yet again another career killed by no jumpshot, inefficiency, and injuries..
I’d say it was more of that injury he suffered over the other two
Turnovers are actually his #1 issue! He was productive within his minutes in the NBA, especially for his age
Nah, Brett Brown doesnt like to coach players. He coaches a system, hence the reason Ben Simmons refusal to shoot us accepted.
@@dbradandthem2727this aged insanely well wtf u smart 🤣

You should do Ryan Boatright next from UConn
Hell Yeah!!
His handle and especially passing style was so insane
He would of had more points if he hit free throws. His style of play was great.
Under 70% ft as a Guard is a red flag.
Yea swear I don’t be understanding how people especially guards can’t shoot free throws.
He needed to purchase a jumpshot desperately
When u said
"It says a lot about a guy when he can't hit freethrows."
I SUBBED
Ma man
