All you undersized guards, make sure you work on your handles and defense. The more you can do the longer you'll stick in the league if you're blessed to get there.
Bullock, Traylor and Albert White were massive prospects that were all Freshman together at Michigan... joining the "next Fab Five" in Maurice Taylor, Maceo Baston, Travis Conlon, Willie Mitchell and the most coveted of them all Jerod Ward.... Absolutely insane the talent they had on paper. Ward couldn't stay healthy and Taylor ended up being the best out of that class. Crazy that all 8 guys I named could realistically all be good stunted growth videos. Haha. Sad but true.... Taylor, Batson and Tractor Traylor the only 3 making it to the NBA which is mind blowing. RIP Traylor.. but Maurice and Maceo just didn't have the tools. Maceo Batson had some insane dunks and blocks at Michigan tho... kinda like Hakeem Warick at Syracuse. Been a lifelong Michigan fan so this video was awesome and just wanted to throw in all these other names that were unbelievably talented and somehow never made it.
Maceo Baston was a dunk machine, some of the plays I have seen those teams make in the games I have watched them. The 90's were truly a golden era of Michigan Athletics
Corey Benjamin, Imari Sawyer, Pierre Pierce, Ismail Muhammad, Jerod Ward, Winifred Walton, Rashad Carruth, Carlos Hurt, Johnathan Hargett, Larry Hughes, Kelvin Torbert, Ousmane Cisse, Chris Walker, Lodrick and Rodrick Stewart, Lavell Blanchard, Kenny Anderson, Luther Head just to name a few
Good one. He probably would've been a better fit in this wide open era, with his range. Appreciate this one. Another MI SG potential guys are Lavelle Blanchard (sic), Jerrad Ward (sic)..
Always good content my brother! I was on a high school team with 2 All Americans, how about Lawrence Moten and Charles Harrison(R.I.P)! Much Respect! Let's Get It!
The sanctions at Michigan stunted the growth of Bullock, Lavell Blanchard, Robert Taylor, and ALMOST Jamal Crawford. A stunted growth on Blanchard would be fire. He was gatorade national player of the year and could've gone to duke over Michigan but stayed local
Being from NYC I was introduced to him in the ‘95 all American game with Steph and Sham. He was definitely a smooth shooter. Sniper. But you called it, he didn’t have the all around guard game. Liability at the pro level
@@ProdbyGrimeyred maybe his growth wasn’t stunted as though he was a bust, but he was definitely expected to become a more dominant player than the career 11.5ppg and 4.1rbg would suggest
@@a-trainbeastmode5300 alot of so called professional talent analyst grade players on "POSSIBILITY" but leave out the "YOU NEED TO DO THIS TO BS BETTER" and "THE PLAYERS GOTTA LISTEN" guys dont work hard and often on their game. You can see it. Look at Kobe, MJ, Lebron, Duncan etc. Them dudes wanted it and we could see it. Tim Thomas was a 6'8 athlete that did nothing above avg. Potential is a stunt growth in itself.
@@ProdbyGrimeyred It was. He, Michael Redd, and Desmond Mason were supposed to be the Bucks' new Big 3 after Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson, and Sam Cassell left. Thomas even earned the nickname "Dog" as the heir apparent to Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson. Redd was the only one out of the 3 who fulfilled his potential.
always work on your defense... it will get you a spot on a team, or at least some minutes, even if you are not the most athletic or tall individual. That's the way I see it, at least. The fact that Bullock could have success in high-level European basketball means that he was very close to the level of skill of the NBA
All you have to do is put him wit a big point guard, or someone like Tmac who could run the offense. If Steve Kerr had a career I dont understand how he couldn't.
Yeah like you mentioned and I can’t agree enough, most of these players playstyles & natural gifts at times was just ahead of their time. Different era?? Maybe a different story.
great job. i think bullock could have came off someone's bench in the nba. his skill of shooting is in demand 2day. he could have sharpened his pt guard skills over time. sad scenario specially since he is the same size as steve alford, who played 4 yrs in the nba. even jimmer fredette played a few seasons at the same size also. it makes me wonder....
ME AND THIS DUDE WENT HEAD 2 HEAD A FEW TIMES COMING UP FIRST TIME WAS AT THE U OF M BASKETBALL CAMP THEN AT ST.CECELIA AND THE U OF D CAMP SALUTE FOR THIS ONE
Louis Bullock is the perfect example of being in the wrong era. He would fit now for 1 reason and 1 reason only. That's the 2-3 zone in the nba. Straight mask defensive defenciencies.
I remember Louis's car a green Maxima with Spinner rims, I remember wondering how the heck does he get this money, he was only 20 he was a good guy, I hate bit the bate .
Bro Jason stunted growth you do story of my home town homie Mike Uzi williams umass greatest clutch shooter love how he yes to break Temple u heart teams go head to head against Eddie j Aaron mckie& rick brunson UMass and Temple best A10 rival wars 90s
Thanks @stuntedgrowth3! It's Doc Mike Smith and this made my day💯

Thank you for putting me onto him. I never heard of him!
I used to watch Lou’s three point shot and tried to emulate it in HS. Dude was silk.
Yep. His game was super smooth. Pretty to watch.
Man 2:55 Tractor Traylor I’ll always remember him Fondly He played a good chunk of time here in PR and was Very beloved especially in Bayamón. RIP
great post bro
I’m from Detroit. He was a cool cat. Met him outside of a corner store.
Hell of a player in school!
talking about smooth release, Luis was the man, i thought he was a NBA guard. Hey, he made a great living overseas, not mad at that.

Think you are right Boss...You probably could do stunted growth on all those guys
Could you do one on Anderson Hunt. MVP of the final four and your whole team goes to the NBA and you don’t, that’s crazy. Love your content btw.
Yes Anderson Hunt!
He was cold blooded at UNLV!
Yes he was good.

Need one on Lester Earl!! He was definitely stunted!
loved his midrange. That 98 tournament he was on fire a la Juan Dixon, Miles Simon, and Kemba.
good video...can u do AJ Guyton and Andre Patterson from Indiana. Also, Miles Simon from Arizona and Scottie Thurman from Arkansas.
Love your work. It has an NBAGotgame feel but really sheds light on college and highschool legends. I flunked outta both so it’s interesting lol
Can you please do one on Luther Head or Paul McPherson
McPherson, Quentin Richardson, Imari Sawyer all good
McPherson and stefhon hannah good story
He lacked the explosiveness and toughness to be a combo guard! Bullock was 6’3 ! But I agree with the 90s being so tough!!
