- Hello to everyone. Thank you for taking the time to watch another video of mine. IN THIS VIDEO I want to share my experience with fixing a winch/snow plow issue. My 3500lb winch has been giving me trouble for 2 years now and it finally went way too far. The winch was periodically giving me issues with going back in to bring the plow up. Just the other day it decided to reverse its issue and go up but did not want to come back down. So here is where I am now having to fix that issue. I hope this video helps some people out.
The winch solinoid or contactor is in a bad place. Collecting water etc. contact points are corroded. Try to reroute a new one up higher away from the wheel area.
