in popular monster the little girl is actually his daughter, and he has stated that he was severely depressed then when his daughter came around she helped him get better not fully but better over time where he didnt want to crash his car just to feel something like he stated in the song at the beginning

He has a horrible childhood, was addicted to heavy drugs (heroin I think), was in prison and deadly with a lot of mental health issues. But he's now completely sober, in a stable relationship for years, seems to be a good dad, tries to teach his young fans respect, etc. Yes, he's not afraid to offend anyone, but if saying that it's offensive to women's struggle to claim to have a period as a trans woman is transphobic, then people have to reevaluate their ethics. This rap rock is VERY new to this band, They were originally a post- hardcore band and were strictly a rock band with some electronic influences. The lead singer was also previously in a different rock band called Escape the fate. This is his second band. My personal favorite song by FIR is "sink or swim." Please react to that!
