I love seeing people's reaction to hearing this for the first time, especially since I heard it back in 1999 when I was 16! I love every song! Most of the music I grew up listening to I pretty much grew out of it, but not Linkin Park!!

Amy Lee is amazing!

The song is about their hometown of Atlanta. They know all about twerking. Im 40 and been a metal head my whole life and Ive ALWAYS loved booty shaking haha. There is a live version of this song they played in Atlanta and invited a bunch of these dancers to be on stage with them you can check out on youtube. Also like 3-4 of these women were also in the Bubble Butt video by Major Laser

I was reminded what a great album that was with this reaction, ty... my ears instantly fell in love with their sound when they released this in my angsty teen years. All that expressive energy can be so easy to lose yourself to when you're going through a lot or tired of life's demands.

fun fact Hybrid theory Is what linkin park's name was gonna be (would of been Hybrid theory's - Linkin Park) but rumors (I can't verify) they went with the name linkin park to be closer to limp bizkit in the CD selection at stores. and it's no surprise every track is fire because these aren't the original ones all of their songs have variations in lyrics to tone Linkin Park didn't just make a track and print it they made a track and redid it changed this here that there till it was perfect. infact the song "crawling in my skin" I don't know where to look but look for the demo or other version and you'll see how they reword things to make them better then they where. as for fave song on the album it's 1,000% my december. a little story behind that as to why it's my fave I listened to it and loved it from the start so I was watching MTV late one night and the video for it came up and it was amazing mike was walking along the ice walls outside of the castle I think maybe in the garden because it wasn't like an ice wall but more just a separation from the other part as chester belted out his words inside the castle's tall pillar rooms. I searched for months to download that onto my computer only to find out it was never made but had been an idea they had had. so apparently I had a very detailed dream of an idea that I didn't know of and so yeah that is my fave of the album because of that.

In modernity, you have a few more Rap Rock options. It is sort of making a comeback in different forms. And then you have like R&B x Metalcore mixes like with Issues from time to time as well. There's just so much MORE music being prodced nowadays it is hard to keep up. So in retrospect, I'm glad LP rose to the mainstream in a much more competative space. (to be chosen and pushed by a label i mean)

Love TDG. One of my favorite bands ever. I recommend you to react to sone of my favorites by them, "Home", "Scared", "It's All Over", "Get Out Alive", "Just Like You" and "No More". I think you could like them a lot.

I always loved how Evanescence has such a somber and beautiful sound. Amy’s voice is so beautiful! Now watching these videos on this rock/metal journey you’ve heard many bands with many different genres, styles, and sounds. I’d love to see you eventually make maybe a video of your top 10 or 15 bands or songs. See what kinda style you like more. We can put you on to more of that sound AND put you on to artists of styles you haven’t heard from yet.
