Conversely, the girl carries the entire universe by creating a bear that was nice to her as a little girl

Have to wonder if the missing A-113 in Monster, Inc. is related to it being Boo's original time.
The context from Monsters university also fits Mike and Randolph into the picture nicely they’re also a big part of it
Nux vibes
I just want to imagine that at Pixar when they are pitching new movie ideas, a new employee is like, "wait how does this fit in on the time-line" and someone says, "Don't worry the Carlin Brothers will figure that out for us"
I honestly think they’re actively trying to disprove this theory by making new and wild stories. I thought it was over when they made onward but apparently it fits right in with the rest
@@squamousthomas3267 I think it's just that outlandish and unique concepts generally make for better animated movies.
@@squamousthomas3267 in toy story 4 the directors deliberately wanted to squash the Pixar theory by putting in all kinda of Easter eggs and things that should end it
I'd like to believe they actively try to break the Pixar theory with every release
Just wait until I buy Pixar from Disney.
If I had a nickel for every time there was a Pixar movie that involved a complicated mother-daughter relationship and a character that turned into a bear, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

They talk about A Bug’s Life in more depth in most of the other Pixar Theory videos, but basically the plant that Wall-e finds that is planted at the end of the movie is shown growing into a massive tree, that tree is identical to the tree the bugs in a bugs life colonize around
And what about antz?
Is it thought that BingBong is/was Riley's memory of her Monsters Inc. monster? That's always the sense that I got. Riley lives during the time of funny monsters, hence the Richard Kind of it all.
ruclips.net/video/6zYon5d4q5M/видео.html
woah this is a really great idea and it makes tons of sense, definitely my headcanon now
I don't get the Richard Kind part.
Richard Kind is the comedian and character actor that plays BingBong.
Generally known for being a goofy screwball type.
How does he become a tourist car or a grasshopper then?
I will never not get chills at the conclusion of a Pixar theory video where you get to the point about memories keeping people alive. Not only does all of the movies finally culminate at a single point and makes the whole thing make sense and serve a purpose, but it’s also just such a strong and powerful message in real life. Nothing is really gone until it is forgotten and I can only hope that if humans do figure out time travel at some point, someone will figure out this same exact thing and create their own loop to insure that humanity and life and love will always exist and always be remembered.
humanity does not deserve to exist forever

I feel like they do the opposite. Like they think “how can we try to make it as hard as possible for the Carlin brothers”
I always thought the use of real actors and animation in WallE to emphasize the change in humanity to be so unsettling
And the music choices.
It was weird but still wall-e is one of the best Pixar movies ever.

@@jiji7250 I liked the use of real humans. Made it more scary and much real.
Yesss, always made it seem so much more cryptic to me
I love how a bugs life can just be thrown pretty much wherever within the whole timeline lol
A lot of people are saying "it takes place after walle plants the tree and life comes back" but I don't see why it couldn't have took place before the events of walle
Well, there's the exact same Pizza Planet truck and a trailer in Bug's Life as in Monster's Inc. Which I found interesting. Even has the same wood board to the left.
@@locomotivetrainstation6053 think the reason that people came up with the idea of it being after Wall-E is because humans are only referenced one time, when we see a homeless bug with a sign that says “kid pulled my wings off”. (And honestly, even then, there’s the potential that it’s just referring to a bug and not a human, since the species of the “kid” isn’t specified.) So, since it’s implied that humans do exist, the fact that they’re never mentioned, even when listing all of the dangers in the world “snakes, birds, and bigger bugs”, implies that it’s a time period where there are very few humans so the bugs aren’t worried about running into them.
Plus, the bugs are a lot smarter than normal, shown by all the things they’ve invented, including cities made of trash that the humans left, and one ant says that he “feels 90 again” implying that they’re able to live longer than they normally would. So, it’s most likely in the future, and the fact that humans are apparently around but it’s not very common for bugs to interact with them, the only place in the timeline where that could fit would have to be after the humans return at the end of Wall-E.
You also have a cutscene from toy story 2 during the end credits where you see Flik and Heimlich knocked off a leaf as Buzz walks through a bush. Since it's those characters specifically, I imagine that their story happened some time between toy story and toy story 2.

This is amazing. The only issue I have with this is the sea monsters evolving into monsters because of a banished monster...sounds like a bootstrap paradox.
Yeah I think it would be easier that the dinos that didn't die off continued to evolve and moved to the sea as humans became a more dominant species.
I remember someone pitched that the sea monsters could have been supers or something, so that could explain it
Yeah, but the idea of Boo going to the past to invent bear magic and ensure Sully exists is also a bootstrap paradox. So maybe those paradoxes aren't really a problem.
My problem is that all the magical races in Onward have human parts, so I say that humans did survive but they just forgor about the Axiom. And maybe some of the monsters found their way there
@@marcushankins8171 well then how could they interbreed
Don't know if anyone else knows this but according to a Monsters, Inc. DVD bonus feature, the city that they live in, Monstropolis, was founded after all of the monsters (originally a race of creatures similar to neanderthals called Mons), who once co-existed with humans, were all chased off the mainland, and eventually moved to an island in an unknown part of the world (which Monstropolis is implied to be located) where they have lived ever since and evolved into monsters by eating the strange fruit on the island (possibly the fruit sold at Tony's Grossery), and that the only way for them to enter human-inhabited areas was via the doors.
This is one of the plot holes I have with the Pixar Theory.
Cool as. Wonder how this affects the theory.

You don't even have to believe in the pixar theory, it's fun to watch them try to fix it all together
I agree. It is not realistic to me, but it is fun to think to put the films together by any creative means.
Overall I'm pretty impressed how well you made this all work and for the most part not seem to be stretching, however every time you compared the magic of Brave to Turning Red I found myself shouting at the screen, "RED PANDA'S AREN'T BEARS!!!!" It's not a red giant panda (which is a bear) it's a red panda which is more closely related to (and more closely resembles) a raccoon. On that note Boo doesn't think Sully looks like a bear, she thinks he looks like a "Kitty" If the witch is Boo then she logically should be obsessed with big cats not bears.

The monsters from Monsters, Inc. can't be hybrids of humans and sea monsters if sea monsters are just monsters taken into past. It just makes an impossible time loop. I like the theory of monsters actually being evolved animals much more. It fits the whole idea how animals advance through time and it also ties very well to the concept of A Bug's Life where insects, now obviously evolved (they walk on two legs now), build their own society (which, by the way, you omitted in the video).
It's just akin to the bootstrap paradox. Time travel fuckery being part of a theory alone does not disprove it.
Someone obviously didn’t watch the last 10 seconds of the video…
Yeah, I agree. Like it’s fine if that’s the explanation for how and why they continue to survive and yada yada yada. But there does need to be an isolated “start” point, the first monster, of the sea or not. I suppose you could say we just don’t know who it is yet, as in the movies have not revealed that, or we don’t realize, but that’s not an overly satisfying answers, either.
The humans return to Earth and they restart to live on Earth. The nature return to grown and animal life begun to come back. But the animals (mammals, birds, fishs and BUGS) are more intelligent than their predecessors (Dory, Marlin, Nemo, Remy etc...) Here's where A Bug's Life events play out.
The humans will leave Earth to colonize space giving the Animals the Planet earth and over the next 2000 years or more they evolve Into Monsters Inc the same process of humans evolve and became Monsters. They also discover time travel to collect "human energy" through emotions.
The Sea Monsters are still From the future relocated in the Past cause of their biology are toxic for the Monsters (this Is why they believe that humans where toxic). Then when the Axioms leave Earth in 2105 the Sea Monsters are or still on Earth and extinct cause of the pollution or are all in the Axioms and in 700 years Lost their monster gene until they're back on Earth.

In it you are the main character fighting back against “The Forgetting” and one of the main things you need to find are memory orbs. Just the like ones in Inside Out.
Also could the monsters be afraid of touching humans and interacting with humans in monsters inc because the butterfly effect of messing with something in the past and permanently affecting it? 🤔

Ok so have a question that’s almost a theory I suppose. So if the monsters can only go back a certain amount of time in the past, does that mean they’re doomed for death? Because what happens when they’ve progressed so far that the doors send them to a time where the humans no longer exist? Like if time progresses and it’s during the age of Wall-E through the doors, they just can’t access kids anymore, and are just forever out of energy.

What would you think some of the biggest continuity errors there are across Pixar movies? I wouldn’t expect all the movies to be perfect, so at least one detail must drive you guys insane lol
I'd love if they made a video on this! My best guess would just be how many alternate connecting explanations one may be able to make if you took into account every single easter egg inclusion, and how easily that can create confusion in the timeline. For example, since there's Lightyear (an in-universe movie), it could also be theorized that The Incredibles is also just an in-universe movie (which is a convincing take due to an Incredibles poster seen in Coco), which would cause a lot of issues for the timeline as a whole.
i think it would have to be the various easter eggs teasing the next movies.
For me it’s how the trash disappears while cars happens

I also think that Tia from Cars, and EVE from WALL-E are the one in the same, as they're both voiced by Pixar employee Ellisa Knight. Maybe it takes place in another realm like soul or coco. Or it's like inside out but for the earth
@@mistermelty1578 That is possible.
I think it's like onward a planet far away
Sully's memory is only guaranteed within the time loop you mention. This doesn't mean Sully will "live" forever, it means there is a known point in time when the last person who remembers Sully is no longer in the same space-time
A theory I have for Turning Red and Brave is that someone in Merida’s family (most likely Merida) moved to somewhere in China, which eventually started Mei Lin’s bloodline, and that Merida somehow learned to use the magic that Boo used, which is how Sun Yee got her bear powers. Kind of a stretch but I like it
Or the witch is just one of Meilin's anscestors who moved to Scotland
Let me pause. Dude you had three kids? Congratulations that's something worth celebrating. I'm so happy for you. I'm sure you're a terrific dad.
"Says Brave is next on the timeline"
"Proceeds to compare turning Red to Brave for almost the entire spot on the timeline"
Crazy that theres no films set between the good dinosaur and brave, I feel like there's untapped potential there
The ants live in the same time as Boo. Randall is banished to the same trailer that's seen in a bug's life.
Sulky would only be guaranteed to be remembered in the loop. Once time moves beyond the loop, Boo isn't there to remember him anymore.
The fact that he says Soul exists all of the time and none of the time pretty much sums up how time really is. It’s not linear. We perceive it as linear because our brains have to try to make everything be logically understood. My favorite example of time perception is in The Flash when Bruce Wayne explains it more of a bowl of spaghetti rather than just a line.
Fun fact: Turning Red takes place in 2001-the same year as 9/11 and other huge events in history
Dang has it really been a decade already? How have I been watching you guys for so long without noticing? Lol time flies when you’re theorizing I guess, happy 10 years bros!
Even though it’s not a Pixar movie, I’d think it’s. Funny that Brother Bear is also a movie about a human turning into a bear.
I love how they included a bugs life at the end
The Pixare Theory makes SO MUCH SENSE, especially with this evidence!
My nephew who just turned 4 loves Luca it’s his favorite movie
Day 45 of asking supercarlinbrothers to please bring back google auto fill videos please
"those who aren't forgotten, aren't really gone"
I cried just a little 😭
I enjoy pixar theory videos from the super carlin brother more than any videos I ever seen on youtube!! thanks for putting in the work and laying it all out wonderfully :)
how did the loop start without sea monsters and without sea monsters how would there be monsters... EXTREME CONFUSION
Paradoxes are a beautiful yet strange thing my friend
This is so frickin epic. Great job, really enjoyed it, thank you.
FINALLY THEY MADE ANOTHER VIDEO OF PIXAR THEORY
The witch/boo reveal always gets me
The feeling when it all comes together is why the pixar theory is so amazing
take a shot everytime he says “i’ll explain that in a minute, “we’ll get to that in a second”
