The water scenes look real, because they are real. 😂
They did the water scenes in a huge tank they built. Rick explained that Walker even spent an entire day in that tank to shoot that scene. That’s pretty awesome.
All the actors in the casino really knocked it out of the park with portraying the hypnosis/memory loss. It's subtle at times, but there's a clear distinction between when the characters are aware and when they're slipping.
When Grover was talking to Augustus in front of the VR game, you can hear a child saying 'Bianca, Bianca' in the background. But you really have to listen for it

Honestly love your reactions so much. "Lord save my kids and my heart" this was ME during that whole carpark scene 😂 I'm so hyped for the final two episodes.. I will say that my bugbears for this episode was I did actually want the kids to have some fun, and I wish they hadnt known the magic of the casino. It was the weakest ep for me too.

also ykw i realized something the other day. the reason i instantly fell so deeply in love with maddox and jet from hsmtmts is because they kinda remind me of bianca and nico

Gods can change their appearance at will mostly, so they don't have to look like their kids. It is said that the Hermes cabin kids don't really resemble each other on the surface. And we haven't seen what May Castellan looks like yet.

tbh I guess we'll find out more about the casting when we meet Luke's mom lol

Great reaction, thanks! I agree - the movie sucked, and anyone who prefers it knows bupkis about Riordan's work.
Just one small quibble - demigods generally don't resemble their godly parent. If you've read the Heroes of Olympus, just think of Frank, Hazel and Piper. Very early in his writing, Riordan did have a couple of references to demigods inheriting looks, but he dropped that trope fairly quickly.
