Congratulations!! You're the first person to react to a Mushroomhead song(cover) that fans have been asking for on countless other Mushroomhead reaction vid out there. ;) Great job, too. I like that you actually did both versions. They also do an awesome cover of Adele's Rumor Has It.
I agree with what you said about when bands do cover songs, they should "make it their own." If we wanted to hear something that sounds like the original, we'd just listen to that, right?
If you want to check out another really good (imo, amazing/mindblowing) cover of a great/classic song, you should look into Spineshank's cover of The Beatles' song, While My Guitar Gently Weeps. *nods*
Spineshanks cover is good but as ive heard it before i dont think it would be fair to do a video on it as ive heard both versions. Il certainly consider checking out and doing the adele cover comparison
September 5, 2013 is the day I downloaded Mushroomhead's album to my pc. I've loved this song since. Today in 2021 I decide to look up the lyrics, and because of this video I find out is actually a cover. Mind blown.
I always have a good time learning that songs I love, are covers (last one was Big in Japan, by Guano Apes, a couple of months ago). Perfect video, man. Great idea to watch both videos.
One of my favorite Mushroomhead songs. The Celtic songs beforehand on the cd are also an awesome lead in to it. Great reaction, bud.
Seen them play this live many times. The energy is out of control. I recommend seeing them. They do tour Europe often.

@@DarthMohammedRules I am really not feeling the change since they added the female singer. Not that she is not talented but it doesn't feel like mushroomhead anymore to me. Can you recommend some of your favorites? I'll check them out.
I remember hearing this song live in Milwaukee back in the early 00's. The whole place erupted when they got to the chorus. It was some of the best energy I have ever witnessed live at a concert. For as heavy as Mushroomhead is/was, the fans were rowdy but in the fun way and not in the hurtful and destructive way.

I knew it was a Seal cover but I've never listen to the Seal. I used to see MUSHROOMHEAD a lot back in Ohio, great live act. I too like both Slipknot & Mushroomhead. MRH predated Slipknot, I've heard on some of these reaction vids that they thought MRH were trying to copy Slipknot.
I loved acid and I get the video.
