Me and my entire family has been diagnosed with hemochromatosis, it’s actually more common than people think but with recent innovations in genetic information doctors are beginning to detect it. It’s not so bad except when it’s not treated with blood donations and diet it slowly kills you. My father got quit close to death due to this but every doctor had no idea what was happening until he figured it out on his own. Almost every doctor we talk to refuses that hemochromatosis had anything to do with this because he only has one gene but if he had listened he would be dead today. Of course your entire family would have it most of them are related by blood and hemochromatosis can be passed down genetically probably even more likely with someone else who has hemochromatosis coming into the mix to have someone else
If you have it, of course you should expect you entire family to have it. Because its hereditary. Someone mentioned that 10% of caucasians are carriers and 0.01% have hemochromatosis. That doesn't sound like it's widely common to me.

Supposed to be doctors, but show goes on a limb and has them do cop work for plots and drama and whatnot
It's Dr. Cop M.D. the series
It's sort of like how on crime shows they do illegal things to find evidence. In this they do that to help find causes of illness. Though normally it's not rape allegations haha.
It's basically a medical version of CSI
Cops.
@@DDnufcGamer Very true, and I love how they expect viewers to just roll with it. There's a guy that is a real medical doctor that reviewed a couple of House MD episodes and it was hilarious seeing him react to all the crazy shit these tv doctors do in just one episode. Although there were many aspects of this show that are based in reality, he also said how absolutely ludicrous it was that ANY doctor would even think of breaking in to a patient's home to search for medical clues or trying to intimidate people for same.

Another reason to watch your doctors.

They were the very definition of stalking.

Typical female. Zero logic, 100% emotions.
@@olegtz Sure. Men throw childish tantrums about minorities on a regular basis, and on their OWN admission, can't control themselves enough to NOT rape women who are wearing short skirts (not referring to this fictional scenario where it happens to be a lie, referring to the whole "if a girl gets raped it's her fault because what did she expect" logic you guys ALWAYS seem to use). Oh, and MOST suicides are men. Do I even need to bring up the current U.S. president, who literally just got put in his place by a woman giving him a few stern words after he literally shut down the government and put hundreds of livelihoods at risk because they wouldn't give him exactly what he wanted?

Why did the intro to Safety Dance play at 3:54 for a second?
Like it just was so random.
It made my day better.
There was a scene at an 80's party that they skipped over.
Its actually a really good episode for house and cuddy.
A common scene transition technique in film (and TV obviously) is to play audio from the next scene you're going to cut to a couple seconds in advance. It's so common we don't really notice it when we're watching it but if you edit the scene out then you either have to cut the previous scene a few seconds early or leave a weird audio cut.
This is great-I have hereditary hemochromatosis and it's amazing to see it diagnosed on House! Raises awareness of this genetically inherited iron storage disorder!!
If memory serves, this is the episode during which House describes Lars Ulrich as "the greatest metal drummer of all time", proving conclusively that he _is_ capable of being utterly wrong.
Usually he gets it right at the end, but not this time. Sadly. I love Metallica, especially the early years but... yeah.
I almost stopped watching. I tried to assume it was sarcastic

So no one on the show is gonna talk to her about making up accusations of sexual assault?
she was incapable of rational thinking, she would say whatever she wanted.
She wasn't intentionally making up accusations, she had a medical condition causing her to lie about everything constantly. What would be the point of "talking to her" about that? When she was cured, she told the truth matter-of-factly, without any kind of pressure or duress or second thought.
I'm glad the guy didn't get hit with a false accusation (or get attacked by the dad), but her saying it wasn't her fault, because it wasn't under her control. Or do you think people with Tourette's are just really rude, and need a lecture on manners?
She was literally incapable of telling the truth. Out of any time to be outraged over a line, this just isn’t it.
