Christopher Revees was a amazing guy. I wish he did not die like he did. And he probably would have still been really successful and would have lived a good life. Christopher Revees was more of a superman after than when he was before

I feel sorry that he couldn’t live his life the way it was meant to be lived for the next 50 years, but the way he dealt with this tragedy has taught the human race a lesson, you can survive anything if you believe that you can. Not really. He had plenty of money and help, and even with all that he died unceremoniously from medicinal complications (it is believed) and 4 years later his non-smoking wife died of lung-cancer. My father believed he could survive his cancer, so he could raise us kids but he didn't. Boom, that's reality. We just need to pour more resources into healthcare and research.

They are not dead (probably) and Chris was not paralyzed.
After his death his widow Dana Reeve suddenly was diagnosed with lung cancer and died 18 months later. And she never had a cigarette in her life.
