Cheers Jens! A lovely spot not far from home for me - a bit cringey when I watch it again now I must admit, the learning curve of using a camera continues!! 🙂
@@MiriamKennedy it absolutely does and its a pleasant journey. Funny enough watching some old footage of mine and I'm thinking omg what was wrong with me at the time 😂
Thank you Char - glad it provided some escape for you today! I actually tried to do this same walk on Sunday while we had snow but I couldn’t drive my car far enough in to Wicklow so I explored another spot instead. There was no one’s footprints but my own on the mountain I climbed - very nice!! 😊
Thanks very much! It’s a lovely spot 😊 I’ve nice memories from this walk of playing with the drone and trying to learn how to use it! My nerves were shattered 😂
Hi Miriam, wow what a perch you found there. You were a tiny little speck and yet you could see so much. I find that fascinating. Just popping in to say great to connect this year. Have a cool week and a fantastic 2022. All the best - see you out there. Mark
Cheers Mark - lovely to hear from you! Yep, it was a very nice perch for sure for an evening cuppa...I remember that I went for that walk when we had just started to have bright evenings again and it was my first decent walk mid-week after work. Roll on those evenings again!! Thank you so much for your connection and support in 2021 also, it has been a great pleasure to come across your channel and to have some banter with you! Wishing you the best for 2022 also, I hope it brings you much pleasure 😎
@@MiriamKennedy A pleasure Miriam. It looked one the best perches for sure and as you say during a glorious evening. The connections been a joy. Good to hear you've enjoyed it to. Here's to great stuff unfolding next year. Wow 2022.
Miriam, what a fantastic evening with the loughs looking absolutely beautiful. Glorious colours on the ground and in the sky. What a spot to stop for refreshments - definitely the best seat in the house (even beating if you lived in that house on the shore of the lough😊) 👍👍
Thanks Gerry! Great that it’s possible to get a hike in the evenings now 😉 Yeah the colours were lovely that day and nice to be able to capture a little of its beauty. I made it up Binnian yesterday for the first time in a very long time - so nice to be back in the rocky terrain of the Mournes again!
About a 40 minute drive from my home - a lovely spot for a walk! It’s a great place, I feel like I haven’t shown Wicklow off enough in videos yet, I really want to try do a video to show its beauty off more, a beautiful part of our country!! Thanks for watching 🤗
Hi there, very beautiful and calm video. There are not many trees and forests in Ireland anymore, our scientists here in Finland have figured out the reason for this.
After the last ice age, there were large forests in Ireland. The first people came to Ireland from Finland and were called Häme peoples. They fell in love with your trees, used them mercilessly, and carried them with their roots here to Finland. That is why we have very large forests here in Finland and you dont. This is a scientific fact and was already told in school in the first grade...here in Finland.
Thanks for watching the video - its a lovely little spot and very local to me. I never heard that story before about the trees to be honest, our loss and your gain 🙂
Hi Ray! Thanks for your message, I’ve only ever used one drone so I can’t offer you any other recommendation beyond that I’m afraid. I use the DJI Mini 2 - it weighs 249g and takes really great quality shots for its size. Due to its low weight it has limitations on flying in high winds but it can still handle a fair bit of wind very well! I think it’s a super drone for its price and I’m very happy with the quality of its output. Best of luck on your research and if you go with it - have lots of fun with it!! 🤗
Incredible footage of Wicklow combined with the lovely music just thank you Miriam 🧡🧡

Pretty humbling alright - taking a risk and putting ourselves out on show like this!! 😉
@@MiriamKennedy what else should we be doing 🤣🧡🧡🧡🙂
A serene 5 minutes of mindfulness...
Loved it.
Keep up the good work. 👍
Cheers George!! That was a mid-week walk on an evening after work - I look forward to the long evenings again…getting there!! 😎
I needed this tranquil and beautiful video today amidst the pre-holiday stresses!! Thank you!!

Oh my, could you imagine living in that house? 😋😘👍🙂 Thanks, Miriam.
What helps is knowing it only takes me about 25 minutes to drive here! A great spot for a hike, what a house is right 🤩

That was beautiful Miriam. Nothing like a cuppa up on eagles crag.
That’s so true Joe! Nothing quite like it 😉 Glad you liked the little video - a fab evening escape before the rain arrived today!
An area on my list. Beautiful drone clips with some lovely reveals. ATB
Thanks so much, glad you liked it! A lovely little spot, hope you get to visit the area soon! 😊

A great trail
It certainly is ❤️
That’s a lovely walk Miriam , beautifully filmed . 👍
Ground always a bit soggy up there
You’re so right Colum - always soggy up there even when there’s been no rain for a while! Glad you liked the little video and thanks for watching it 😊

Hi Miriam, loved the video and the scenery is amazing. Could you recommend a reasonable priced drone that will take similar shots? Thanks. Ray
