- UM HI HELLO I'm having TWINS?! Literally 13 weeks at this point and it still doesn't feel real. But I am so happy that I have the LIVE footage of me at the ultrasound seeing that I am having twins for the first time. What a roller coaster.

My girls were di/di twins! You can have identicals that are di/di (mine are!) They are almost 4 months and they are a lot to handle but SO WORTH IT!!!!!! Watching them discover each other is the best thing in the world. I found out by myself too back in April and was overwhelmed but trust me, it’s the coolest thing ever, plus you feel like such a badass when you go somewhere with two babies. You can do anything! I am 5’ 1” and carried both of mine for 36 weeks (they had to come out because I couldn’t stretch anymore) and neither of them had to go to the nicu! You will love being a twin mom!
My twins are the best thing to ever happen to me. Unplanned and total surprise. Wouldn’t have it any other way

My fraternal twins are 2 1/2 years old and my husband still says "I can't believe there are two" :-) HAHA

I have eleven year old identical twin girls and they are my world!!! My husband and I knew we were having twins, we even discussed it minutes before our ultrasound and sure enough, we were right!❤️I cannot imagine my life any other way.👯♀️

Wow, you had exactly the same response as me when I found out I was having twins! So glad I’m not the only one who reacted that way. Sadly, shortly after getting my head around it all, we lost one but now have our gorgeous long awaited baby that survived and thrived! Hope all goes smoothly for you and can’t wait to see how things progress. X
I was totally upset when I first found out we were having twins... I truly thought our lives were over 😂. They're 1 now and the BIGGEST joy. I honestly feel bad for people who DON'T get to experience having twins. Obviously there are a lot of things that become more difficult with 2, like leaving the house in general, but it just becomes your new normal. You'll be surprised how fast you get used to doing everything twice and it just becomes a part of life! CONGRATS!! 💕

Congratulations!!! I have fraternal twin girls that are 4 now!!! My one piece of “advice”.... it is NOwhere near as scary/hard as you are prob thinking!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful everything was!!!... i was terrified when i first found out.... but twins are SUCH a blessing!!!! 💓💓
If it makes you feel any better, I’m 12 weeks and 5 days, and my baby bump is bigger than yours carrying a single baby. But this is my third pregnancy, and I’m definitely popping way earlier than my other 2. Congrats!! ♥️🎉
Every mothers body is different with their pregnancies alongside other mama's, but congratulations!!! That's so exciting. I'm hoping to TTC in 1-2 years, I hope you and your pregnancy is happy and healthy.
Congrats!!! We don’t have twins.. but our last 4 kids of 6 are all each 20 months apart from each other, some days are better than others.. some days you will feel overwhelmed and that’s ok..!! All babies are such a blessing!! You will do great!!♥️

I feel you!! It's going te be fine! My first reaction when i new i was pregnant with twins four years ago was 'i only want one' my second reaction was 'my life is over' my third reaction was ' i can never ever go grocery shopping again'. That last one is very very true :-).
I so appreciate you sharing this! Yes, these are certainly all thoughts I have had 😂 I know it's going to be a serious adjustment but I also can't wait to hold them 🤗

Every time you say, “there’s two!” I start crying. Granted I’m 5 weeks along and worried that I have twins. I still have to wait like 3 weeks for my appointment. So happy for y’all, but also hope I don’t have twins. Lol 😂

I came out looking exactly like that at my 7 week ultrasound after I found out I was having twins as a first time mom!! Beyond scared. My twins are now 6 months old and I can’t imagine life without them. The bond I see between them is so magical❤️ congratulations!!!
We have 2 boys then found out we are having twins! 33 weeks with them now:) your reaction was EXACTLY like mine! I kept crying and laughing in the car and didn’t know how to feel! Lol but so very grateful. You’re gonna do awesome!!!

Congratulations mama! I’m a twin mama myself. My boys are 3 now. I totally can relate to the first reaction! I started bawling in the car. I was so excited but terrified my body would lose one of them and just the overwhelming thoughts of two babies. But let me tell you it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. They are the most amazing little guys! But FYI (I learned this during my pregnancy). My boys are also DiDi. Most people will tell you they are automatically fraternal. But 30% of the time they can be identical - it just depends on when the egg splits. We got our DNA tested and they are identical! If you have two of the same gender, definitely get them tested to find out :) congrats girl. This brings back all the feels!

I didn't find out we were having twins till 6 weeks before they were born years ago. Didn't have an ultra sound till the doctor became suspicious. Pretty shocked. They were full term, very healthy and I wore regular clothes home. Good luck!!!

Thats so exciting! I have unknown infertility. I had to do 4 rounds of iui to get our second baby (he will be a year this March). I had a vanished twin (sack but no embryo) my dr told me. Im so happy for u

When I found out I was having twins.... my mom, my cousin, and I just started crying!!! Lol it was amazing but it is quite a shock!!! I knew it was twins but having it confirmed was insane!!!

Saw a set of 10 month old identical twin boys yesterday, October 23, 2022. They were so cute and were in very happy moods. A few days earlier I saw a 6 week old set of fraternal twin boys. Twins are double the fun.
Twins are the BEST. I have fraternal twin boys. The first year was a blur. It’s. AMAZING. You’re blessed. You got this!!! Congratulations 🎉

My daughter and son-in-law went into the ultrasound appointment at about 6 weeks. My wife and I stayed in our car, out in the parking lot, watching their 13 month old girl. My daughter and I were texting back and forth in between all this and that inside. Then for about 40 minutes she went radio silence. I wondered out loud about it but wasn't worried; obviously she was busy. Then, after an hour, the two of them came walking up to the car. I asked if everything was OK and my daughter just stood there with this big silly grin on her face. Then she reached into her purse and pulled out the sonogram. My mother was an OB/GYN nurse. I know what they are supposed to look like. I saw the two babies and my mind exploded. All rational thoughts disappeared and I started yelling "WTF?" over and over. There were a lot of tears in everyone's eyes. It was an incredible moment and one that we'll never forget. The babies are due at the end of August 2022. The similarities to your pregnancy are astounding. They are also fraternal, but my daughter didn't participate in any fertility treatments. One of the babies is two days older than the other, so two separate eggs, two separate sperm cells, two separate fertilizations. They were hoping to get pregnant, didn't see this coming. Congratulations! I just found your channel today, so I assume your babies are already born. I can't wait to see more of your videos.
Twins are amazing!! I was 19 when I had mine and did not know there were two until two hours before I delivered them!

@@shaudeone2468 they are 40 now and I delivered at a VERY small hospital that didn’t do ultrasounds at that time

I just found out I’m having twins and this video has helped me so much. The first couple of days were so so overwhelming for me too 😅
I am a fraternal twins, I had identical twins in September. I cant even explain thebday I found out I was having twins, there was a whole lot of oh no and holy moses. I was borderline hyperventilating for about 30 minutes I cried many tears in early pregnancy. I had no idea how I was going to raise twins alone. But then I started thinking of all the fun me and the babies would have and the excitement kicked in. I loved shopping cause people cashiers looked at me and let me know the clothes were the same size or looked confused like do I know i got 2 of the same size?!
The first couple weeks after they were born were a struggle, but we fell into a groove and things are much smoother since.
You've got this mama, deep breathes and think of all the fun to come :)

Oh sweetheart. You are allowed to feel everything you’re feeling! Nothing wrong with that. I would feel the exact same way. I just know you guys will do a great job with the babies. It will be hard at times, yes. But you can do this ❤️❤️ double the trouble, but also double the love 🥰

I totally know what you mean about the emotions that you feel when you find out you have twins ! I remember feeling guilty for feeling overwhelmed and the whole “grieving the single pregnancy” part . I wouldn’t want to tell anyone how I was feeling . But I was also very excited ! Sadly , my identical babies didn’t end up making it 💔💔
I was so shocked when I found out about my modi boys. I'm currently 28 weeks and 4 days and I cannot wait to meet my little boys. Congratulations!!
At least when people say “You’re huge, it must be twins” you can actually say yes! There was more than one person who said I must be having twins as I was so big but no- one baby! I wasn’t overweight or anything! Ah well! I also really appreciate your raw footage of crying about it. I recently found out I’m expecting my second (there will be a 22month gap) and I feel awful and a whole bunch of emotions so it’s nice to know I’m not alone! We have to wait until 12weeks for our scans here in the UK so it’s a good while to wait!
My mum raised 4 girls alone and 2 of my sisters are twins. She brought us up on a single mothers pension in Australia. She did a great job we had a great childhood despite being dirt poor. You don't need to spend a lot of money bringing children up, it is a myth that one needs to spend a fortune. Admittedly we had things like 2 cane laundry baskets strapped in the back seat of the car as car seat (it was the 80's in a remote area of Australia) There is no need to spend a fortune and remember new things off gas plenty of toxic chemicals so buying used baby things like car seats etc are a much better idea. Or buy them 6 months in advance and let them off gas. Best to you.
I had fraternal boy girl twins at 19 it was a SHOCK to say the least lol I’m on my third due on the 20th and I’m so glad I experienced twins first ! They are so much fun 💗👶🏼👶🏼

Just a heads up! Even di-di twins have a 33% chance of being identical!!! If they end up being the same gender and have the same blood type its a chance! 💕 there’s the chance because they can split within days of fertilization and split perfectly into two eggs!

I literally cried when I found out 😂 we have a 4 and 2 year old(at the time we found out 3.5 and 1.5) as well! We have mono di twins that ended up with TTTS and ended up having them at 31 weeks! Congrats!
I would have felt the same way for me or my daughter. My biggest concern would have been if they would be premature and if C-section was necessary. .But separate placentas is a blessing to reduce risks. Other than that, you will have full support from your families to help and to get two of everything!
When you have them you will be amazed you have two of them for a while lol I think it took me until I had my third baby to get over that we had two at once. I am pregnant with my second set and excited but nervous to have 5.

Seeing this video brings back so many memories! I was a mess when we found out we were having twins. For quite a while! We have two kids and we’re going for our third and final. No twins in my family whatsoever:::bam, also di di twins! Glad to be on the other side now where I’m not completely terrified. I’m 20weeks.

Ps, My identical had their own sac and their own placenta too. identical can come my way or share a placenta, most have their own sac, or they would strangle each other on their umbilical cord

I found out that I was pregnant with twins at my first ultrasound too (6 weeks) but sadly I miscarried 1 baby by my next ultrasound at 12 weeks. My husband and I also required fertility drugs. I was on Clomid.
My dad had a fraternal twin brother who passed away in 2015.
Congratulations! I'm sure it's already been said, but di/di twins absolutely can be identical 🙂 I have 1 year old di/di twin girls who are non-identical. They even have opposite eye/hair colours! Genetics are wild. It's hard going, and I know everyone says it, but it does get easier. Best of luck with your pregnancy and future motherhood!

I felt the same as you did about twins. My husband was soo excited. I ended up quitting my job and raising them. Best thing I ever did. It will be fine. They have a buddy to play with
I had the same reaction!! I’m here searching twin pregnancies since I just found out I’m having twins. And my reaction was not exactly happy, I was TERRIFIED!! And the grieving part I totally relate to, I feel guilty saying it to anyone but I’m sad that I won’t have the pregnancy I thought I would. Thankful babies are healthy but I haven’t gotten to the excited phase quite yet lol
I just found out yesterday that I’m having twins & I am not excited either & I kind of feel bad about it. Super overwhelmed & feeling unprepared. These videos are helping me see how normal & valid my feelings are.

What were your levels at 5 weeks? Mine were more than double what they should be! Im wondering if it could be multiples.
They were in the high range but not doubled so that didn’t throw me off

If I had twins I would be so happy! Your so Amazing and Lucky to be blessed with two beautiful children in 1! Think of it as 2 children with half the work, it means that if you wanted two children you no longer have to go through childbirth twice haha 😂 But you are going to be an amazing mother! 💕

Twins run in my family.
My dad is a twin he had twins and his 3 other daughters all had twins, I’m one of his twins and the only daughter out of 4 that haven’t had twins yet.
I have 3 girls so far and praying hard that I get my own set of twins this time around 🤍🤍

Fraternal Twins actually come from the moms side! And identical twins are just random. So that twin gene isn’t actually passed down from your dad.
@@annieloricco8502 yeah I know and he’s also an identical twin and that don’t run in family’s but I thought it was funny how it all worked out.
My cousin has twins too ( on my dads side) and my husband also has twins in his family.
