I love it so much, when multiples are announced often it’s a bittersweet reveal as people are obviously concerned. It’s nice to have at least one person showing pure excitement and happiness for them ❤
It would be considered a small litter, lol. I've known mama dogs who had 15 puppies. Of course, dogs and cats have multiple uteruses, so it's a little different. The pups/kitties can be conceived on different days and by different males.
Jesus i just can’t even imagine this broooo I have a 2yr old & am nervous about having another baby. Taking care of ONE was plentyyyy I can NOT imagine dealing with 4 all at once!!!
@@hilaryc3203 not always really. My aunt was told she was having a high risk triplet pregnancy. It didn't go smoothly, but she was fine most times. They slid out of her like there is no tomorrow without problem a few hours between labor and delivery 😅
I've noticed that the amount of noise from the crowd is inversely proportional to the number of babies that have to exit in the future. Only dogs can hear quintuplet announcements.
Next up is Cats being the only ones that will hear sextuplet announcements. 🤣🤣 I can imagine it now: Future Parents: "We are having Sextuplets!" Extended Family: *Gasps* *Speechless* 😮😯😲😳😱
My Aunt's grandma had twins. Two years later she twins. On top of this she had a five year old. It was so stressful on her that she went to a mental hospitals for a month. After that she relied heavily on extended family for support, to the point that here kids were basically jointly raised by their grandparents. So yeah it is hard to cope.
In fairness, you have a 0.0001% chance of having quadruplets, it'd be like someone telling you they won a $50M lottery. Then the next week won it again. You may still have a better chance of doing that
I thought I was going to throw myself off a cliff w just one. All i kept saying to my Dr. was, "No fucking way!" over & over & over again. I wasn't trying & was double birth control...the chances were nill. That was 23 years ago...she's awesome!
😊id like to see an update a few years after birth when mom is pulling her hair out and needs help or time off. How many are happy to help out? I know two are hard. I can’t imagine up to 5!
As a mum of triplets no one helps a few people came over when they were 1st born stayed for no longer than an hour said this is too much then left 😅🤣😂 my triplets are 16 months now
True. A friend of mine had tripplets when they already had a 2 year old. 4 daughters. I tried to help as much as I could but in the end couldn't since I had a baby to take care of too and ended up developing a debilitating illness, so I'm in a wheelchair now. None of their other friends or family helped out or checked in on them. THey're so stressed and messed up that they are just exhausted to the brink of tears. The tripplets are 5 now. They applied for help from the county but were denied. There's no help for multiple births. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Just imagine how their life will be when the girls become teens.
This is EXACTLY why the first thing I offer my good friends is my time, after everyone else goes home. It takes between two to three weeks for the “New Baby Novelty” to wear off on one baby and three to four for multiples, in my experiences. That’s when the visits stop or become really really far apart, and it becomes hard to shower or even go to the bathroom sometimes. So I always worry about moms and especially multiple moms more so right around then.
@@BMass83 I'm lucky if friends visit once a month and the only family that visits ( from my side, his family lives interstate but they do visit when they can) is my mum but she can't really help because she's on dialysis every day. I remember when having multiples was actually incredibly rare; but, I guess it’s a relatively common thing now, what with IVF. As wonderful as it is at first, it is, in fact, a very difficult thing to go through, from the pregnancy on. It is also often a strain on the marriage. I wish each couple good health and much happiness. They will need to be healthy to raise all those children at once. Prayers that all babies deliver healthy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏…🙏
I've seen a few announcements vids like this. When its 2 people squeal. When its 3, people squeal even more. When its four, people are like "...Wait, what? o.o"
It's awesome but I wonder how many of those people know that a third of quadruplets and over half of quintuplets don't survive. You have to be very careful if you are going to ask how their pregnancy is coming. If you haven't talked to them or their family or friends, in awhile, then you need to before calling the mother. A friend of mine announced that she was pregnant and then miscarried right afterwards. Everywhere she went women were coming up to her and saying CONGRATULATIONS !!! She said that it hurt really bad every time. When she got pregnant a second time 4 years later she only told her mother and no one else.
Exactly, I'd be terrified and crying if I found out about it. They will definitely be preemies. Lots of scary times ahead. And all the work once they are at home. For the next 18 years 😂
Multiple pregnancies can pose risks, but advancements in modern medicine have made it safe for both the babies and the mother. As a medical caregiver, I am proud that we have been able to reduce the maternal mortality rate and give parents the peace of mind should or when these situations present it self. Cheers 🥂
How about we focus on the joy and excitement these people have? Times will be scary, but for the moment let these people be happy and giggle and laugh and share in the joy of what's about to come.
