This video ended up being a bit longer than intended, so I’ve added timestamps to help you navigate if you were looking for something specific. Also feel free to leave any questions here, and I’ll answer them as quickly as possible!
@@capachili2 you should post all of your missions that you have rn on a google drive file so we can download them and play them! Growling sidewinder posts his missions per the video and it’s cool to play the mission then watch his video and see how I can improve on that one mission
the reason i don’t is because they’re typically broken in at least one or two places. in the main videos i just edit around that, but for gameplay it’d suck to spend a bunch of time just for it to not work. maybe in the future i can touch them up and release them
Good video. Note that the flag name is an open text field, not an integer. So you can call your user flags "MyGreatFlag" if you want to and then make it more obvious what it means.
Thanks for making this, i was wondering how you do all that stuff (i know there are other tutorials but you explain it in more simple terms) love the content
@@asmith1496 4:45 this is how to do it in the editor. to do it in game you need to be parked at a friendly airfield, press back slash "\", then ground crew, then rearm and refuel. from there you can add weapons, add fuel, change livery, etc...
Yes, it was long but that's ok because of the detail you went into! Which was good! I've been making missions for 2yrs now! I do everything in script(Moose) now! But I remember what I would have wanted for info when I started! So this hit on a lot of levels other vids didnt cover!
check 0:40 did I miss something there? still haven’t learned all the new features with dynamics spawns. please do let me know if i’ve missed something 👍
make sure your dcs has access to private and public networks in your firewall. also make sure your router is capable of essentially port forwarding (just beware the risks)

you should put all of your missions you do in the description they look fun to play

Great video

wonderful! thanks :)
Thanks for this cool video 😁, all that’s left to do is advertise it
So useful, many thanks.
The hardest part of making a mission is .... The initial idea.
Finally
What AI are you using to create those images?
these were done with bing AI, but i think chat gpt’s is a bit better
you didnt assign the tmplates to the dynamic spawn bases, other than that, great video.

Yoo.. my friends cant see my server? I'm in it, public hosted it right (i think) and theres no options for my server
Do you have your ports forwarded?
>ok
Sucks That my friends can't see my server
Can anyone see your server?
@@sahhull Don't know
Have you opened port 10308 on your router? Otherwise, other people won't see your DCS server.
@@Hyena_91 I have no idea how you do it.
