The cheese pulls had me drooling throughout the filming of this ep! 😋
Glad I got to try them 😍
I am jealous!!
Which did you like best?
yesss
I really appreciate how fair these ladies are with their judging. No one is trying to throw the competition. They're all just being honest.
Right, just honest critique and no "oh, I can't eat that food".
🥰
Look at Maria giving everyone high scores and still coming out with the win! Amazing. Giving out a 10 to anyone means you can at best tie or lose if everyone agrees with your rating and she did it anyway and still came out victorious. Let that be a lesson to future participants. If it's good just say it's good, the truth will win in the end.
💯 agree
totally agree. double respect for her as a cook & as a judge. never understood those who say "its perfect but cant give a 10 bc its not mine" like what??
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Agreed!
Listen🙌
❤❤
Maria seems like everyone’s favorite aunt, she was so nice about her scores (a little to generous 😅) but when you are confident in what you do, nothing can Faze you 🥰
Maria ❤
I adore these women. This is how it should be. And they all know how to cook so they don’t need to mark down others to elevate their subpar cooking
❤❤
Lmfao if only all women where like Colombian women
All the scores were so close, this has to be my favorite group of people on this channel. The ladies are all so lovely to each other 🙌
love that!
Right. That part, finally an episode where everyone is honest.
There is a huge Colombian population here where I live in London. You can get every kind of Colombian food in Elephant and Castle.
As a Colombian American, that is sooo interesting to me! I live in Miami, FL and we have loads of Colombian bakeries and restaurants.. huge population of multi generational Colombians here 😊🇨🇴 even more in NY, where I was born.
@@monicaalvarez5696 I am originally from Jamaica, and as a child growing up we would stop over in Miami, to get a connected flight-Air Jamaica. I remember seeing so many beautiful Latinas talking in Spanish and I told myself I would live in Miami one day, because Miami is just a short flight to Jamaica with a very Latin backdrop. I never thought we had a Latin population here, but the Colombian population here is very big.
@@simcastpodvids Miami has a very large Cuban population since it’s so close to Cuba but never expected a large Colombian population …that’s great 👍 as a Mexican American I’m sure there are a few of us there
I need to go there
I love Maria’s accent because when you hear her talk you can 100% bet she is speaking Spanish but you can still understand everything. So good
The Colombians are really sweet with their scoring…not messy nor biotchy and fare.
I’m team savory arepa, not a fan of arepas de choclo at all. I also like to see the griddle or grill marks on an arepa, otherwise would seem undercooked to me. Also, as a Colombian American, it’s so interesting to hear British accents from Colombians but with regular Colombian accents when they speak Spanish. Awesome video! More please!
I thought the EXACT same thing when I heard jess speak in Spanish, hahahaha! She sounded almost "Paisa", but I could be wrong!
I love this episode because they are all being fairly kind to each others meals. Great one!
❤
This group of ladies are my favorite! They are all so respectful and give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. They don't just low score each other in hopes of winning. I enjoy watching them and definitely wish I could try their different ways of making foods!
Jess’s accent and then the spanish , hard not to love that
Pretty easy on the eye, too 😁
Those look deliciousss! You can't go wrong with soft silky smooth bread with cheese filling! Sounds like something perfect for breakfast! 🤤💕
Ok!! The Colombian ladies didn’t come to play 👏🏾👏🏾
Knew my girl Maria was gonna pull this win again 👏🏾 and she’s giving high scores too.
I like these ladies. Quality criticisms infused with sisterly kindness. Excellent.
Cool video, My relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, I really love her so much I can’t stop thinking about her, I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated, I don’t see my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her, but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her.
Amazing, how did you get a spiritual counsellor, and how do i reach her?
Thank you for this valuable information, i just looked her up now online. impressive.
These women were so kind and considerate in their commentary. One of the nicest group of people in this series
I like these ladies!! Bring them back very positive ❤
The “salt range” of this group’s tastebuds is wild😂😂
Non-toxic women! Nice!!
The Colombian women are so fair!!
I love how they were respectful and fair with each other
Maria is so nice, really fair. I want to try Colombian food.
I like how nice they were. And now I want arepas.
I want too !
Their kindness and enthusiasm towards each other makes me want to try their food even more!
My good sis Alex saying the arepa is "a little bit undercooked", probably used to eating dry arepas rip
Maria is a vibe she an amaoand genuine person much love
Love this one! And their accents are so soothing!
It’s crazy how close they all were to each other
I love the arepas de huevo de Cali that my Mom brings me each time she comes back from Colombia.
That first one needed more color. I like my arepas simple, but, my favorite are stuffed, so I loved that. The first time I had an Arepa, a Venezuelan one, I was shocked by what it was filled with. I was like this nice warm dough and cold cuts? My brain was confused. The sweet one sounds interesting. Hmmm... I love how fair everyone was with their scores. They are pretty damn hard to mess up, so just have fun with them!
I didn’t realize so many Colombians live in the UK
A lot of Colombians come through Spain so many have Spanish citizenship or residency and then come here. We also have Ecuadoreans, Peruvians and Dominicans in smaller numbers. The same for Brazilians coming here through Portugal.
My mom use to make sweetcorn pancakes but not with cheese. I'm American. Country folk food
Love how close it was lol
I like when everyone does good, 1 point spread is not bad. Great job ladies!
I just recently tried arepas venezolanas and they're the best...I love the different fillings
Huh allways someone from Venezuela 😂saying their the best.ok Venezuela😅
I love this group of ladies, they rate so fairly and honestly 😍👌🏽👌🏽
Maria won again! She’s just amazing haha, I really wish I could try her food! 💕
these women are so sweet and fair. i love it, well done ladies!
Doña Martha is definitely from Cali.
Ok , i would probably love all of those arepas!! It is different to hear a Colombian with an English accent. That is new! Lol
it’s weird seeing my latino people being from the uk 😅😂
We love Maria :)
I had no idea that sweet arepas were a thing I love the variety that arepas can have.
Jess literally looks and sounds like a masterchef contestant, I think her names Alex, if I remember correctly I think she won it or was close to the finals
Would love some Portuguese people on here 🇵🇹👀
An arepa is basically a pupusa with a different name?
Y'all would post while I'm at work but it's okay I will watch this video as soon as I get off LOL
Even though all arepas were looking pretty and tasty I still love Jess' more. I now crave this sweet cheese in dough iced with chocolate with an espresso or cafe americano on a side. Damn that would be an ideal start of the day
These accents are wild!! I don often encounter British Latinos or Bratinos?
Maria stole my heart ❤
Never had one but I think I’d eat these with eggs and sausage ❤
kinda reminds me of pupusas. I would've chosen Jess'
You should start posting the winning Arepa's recipe. Any winning recipe, really, for all the videos.
A Colombian with a British accent? oh my
Why are you surprised? There is a huge Colombian population here especially in South London (Elephant and Castle). Other Latin American communities we have here are Brazilians, Ecuadoreans & Peruvian. People migrate all the time! That’s why we have such a large Caribbean , Asian, African population here too. London is one of the most diverse cities in the WORLD.
@@bronze2811 Im not surprised I’ve just never heard it. The British don’t really have the same connection to Latin America the way alot of countries in the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia do
Reminds me of pupusas. I’ve got to try these one day. 😊
I was hoping to see an arepa con huevo 😢but all of those arepas looked delicious 🤤
❤
Nice ladies! Enjoyed this one
what is the difference between an arepa and pupusa?
Almost never have the scores been so close.
My dad and his family are from Venezuela. My aunt makes arepas, she makes the cheesy ones. Unfortunately, I don't like them but my husband can't get enough lol. So she makes them for him.
🇨🇴 🇪🇨 ❤😊
I will definitely have to try this!👍🏿
Yea seems like everyone did good 👍🏾 good one
Remember God loves you♥️❤
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Please repent, change your life around and live for Him🙏..
He is coming back soon😊🎉.........
I want arepas, especially at school lunch! Yes!
PS. I also love hearing Colombian ladies with British accents! And my step-mom is from Colombia! ❤
Well done ladies for being fair
you should do this with the Venezuelan arepas
I like how nice they were
Whenever I see Columbia i remember black powder or white powder....😂😂😂
Probably because that's your thing. The first you think about is usually about your preferences.
I would love to see these Colombians versus some Venezuelan women making arepas
For what purpose. Both countries are different. I don’t see why Venezuelans are so defensive. Im sure its not the only thing Venezuela has to be proud of
Definitivamente nada como las AREPAS DE MAIZ MAIZ esas harinas no saben NUNCA a las de maiz
I am a MARIA STAN!!!
Definitely not arepa de choclo… that’s a different type of corn! Would’ve been great to make one though and also arepa boyacense! And they all looked good but I think Jess made the best arepa given that two were undercooked and one was overcooked/ very small
Every time I watch these Colombia videos I just feel like the younger girls haven’t really been to other regions of Colombia so their scoring seems more biased. I might be wrong tho
please do polish moms/women try each other's pierogi
Noted!
Taste is subjective
i saw maria and knew hers was gonna be a winner lol!!
Les muestro las que hago en mi canal
ruclips.net/user/shortsfAHgBQAbuKU?si=3vFrOOOlJzh4UbTE
It's about to go down
i am venezuelan and i hurt so much that this video is not made by one of my fellowships jajaj
I can’t stand when people post the winner in the mf comments & its the highlighted comment…
I was watching this mostly to see if anyone would make a reference to encanto 😅
@Jess 😍
Huevos pericos con arepas siii. Demasiado rico
Jess 😍😍😍
"Arepa" is also slang for women's genetitals, so the title can be misleading 😅
So is it like pupusas?
They are so nice
Tasty too!
Ahora you quiero una arepa 🫓 pero con no queso 🧀
I want to make arepas
Never heard nor seen these but they look super good and right up my alley!
I would want to try a pizza version with marinara and pepperoni and a cheese and spinach one also sounds really good.
Is this the same as a papusa ?
Arepa is from colombia or Venezuela ???
It was literally one country at one point in history. A common history of both now separate countries. Its really not a big deal. Both countries now have their on takes in them
Historian here. The existence of the arepa predates the existence of both countries. So it's from both places.
Both, Arepas come from native tribes and it exists from before the Spaniards arrived
Guataa and batta.
I’ll take one of each…you can put anything between bread…lol
I want some😭😩
Answer: Maria probably makes her arepas with a mold, maybe a lid of something and not by hand and definitely needed more time cooking, very pale
